The nurse fetches him a glass of water from a pitcher on a rolling bedside table kind of dealy and wheels it over to his non-handcuffed side.

Nurse: "Anything else?"

*Cameron has his eyes tightly shut*

*They are now presumably on a bus.*

They get a few glances as they go to a seat, likely because they're checking out Ven, or Taiyo's shirt draws quite a bit of attention.

*Thiera figures this is going to be a long trip, so she uses her phone to check out The Grapevine.*

It is a fairly long trip as traffic is being rerouted elsewhere.

In the comments section, there are only two recent comments. one saying the actions of those involved with the apparent cover up should be brought to justice while another is someone calling her a nigger.

Taiyo yawns and leans on Aroma.

*Aroma blushes. She thinks about putting an arm around Taiyo or something, but worries that she might be weirded out. So she just sits there, smiling, stomach full of butterflies. Thiera decides to look up whether the cop who threatened her was ever investigated. Ven just kind of sits off by her lonesome, staring out of the window.*

"No. Thank you," He said, then took the water and drank it down.

"It's gonna' look just fine," Jin said.

There is nothing about any police officers under investigation. Although there is a brand new article about a bombing occuring at an arcade not far from where they went for ice cream.

Taiyo begins purring as she falls asleep.

Nurse: "Your dinner will arrive shortly."

She leaves and the guard returns to their post outside the room.

*Thiera heads back & comments.*

I agree. About the cover up, not the n-word. You shouldn't use racial slurs, it isn't nice. :< Anyway, I don't see anything about anyone being investigated for that night. It would be a great help if my readers could help me contact the police department about that. I now believe the man I fought that night to have been the leader of the Black Mask. I'll be sure to keep you all posted.

*When it's done, Cameron opens his eyes*

Through the window, Ven can see the domed roof of the sportsplex as the bus gets nearer, entering the turning lane.

Azuma: "Who bombs an arcade?"

The two stand on a rooftop overlooking emergency personelle as they scramble about, putting out fires or trying to keep the crowd back, and sifting through wreckage.

*Ven starts nudging Taiyo.*

V"Hey, wake up, we're almost there."

*Thiera looks for information on the Dominoes anyway.*

Taiyo groans and eventually sits up, rubbing her eyes.

Taiyo: "That was quick."

Two suspected dealers were arrested, but otherwise nothing major since what was mentioned during the morning news.

V"Seemed like quite a trip to me."

A"I...did not mind...."

T"Man, they still don't know anything about these Domino things?"

Grimm did a whole lot of nothing.

"Yeah."

Taiyo dings the bell signaling to stop.

Taiyo: "Not many people do?"

A nurse comes along pushing a cart. The guard lets her in and follows after her. She places a covered plastic tray in front of Grimm and leaves.

T"Well, what are they doing with the investigation? Where is all of the research?"

*They presumably get up & file out as Thiera exits out of her phone's internet & stuffs it in her pocket.*

*Eve starts to do that, and eventually passes it to Jin*

Jin did her thing.

Grimm ate his food quickly.

Taiyo: "Classified? I don't know. It's great that you're dedicated to the crime fighting thing, but I thought we were here to have fun."

Inside the sportsplex they get a whiff of a mixture of chlorine from the pool and different smells from the concession. There's a short line up at the front desk, mostly people with dufflebags or in swimwear.

One such person in line carrying a dufflebag, Aroma recognizes as Spring.

*Thiera looks offended.*

A"Come on, let's get in line!"

*She skips off towards the line, Ven steering Thiera after her.*

Taiyo: "Sorry?"

Taiyo follows after Aroma, calling out to her to wait up. It's at that point Spring turns around.

Spring: "Hello, Aroma & friends."

*Aroma giggles like a school girl while Thiera raises an eyebrow.*

A"Hi."
