Assemble

Spring: "Afraid not. Spring Amore."

She extends a hand.

Taiyo: "Taiyo Shikasu."

Taiyo shakes her hand.

V"Venezuela Guvera."

T"My name is Thiera Psyche."

*They also shake.*

A"I met Spring on campus a while ago. We talked about stuff."

Spring: "A lovely conversation on a not so lovely day. Anywho, what brings you here? Skating I presume?"

T"Yes. It was my idea. Because I am a very fun person."

Spring: "I'm certain you are. You still have your youth after all."

Taiyo is doing her best not to stare which is remedied by Thiera's peculiarness.

Taiyo: "Are you here to swim?"

Spring: "Absolutely. The university pool is well and all, but the waterslides is too much fun to pass up."

It's at this point that it's their turn in line.

A"Oh...maybe we could meet up for swimming some other time?"

*At this comment, Ven decides to sniff the air & look at the back of Aroma's head pityingly, for some reason. Aroma smiles hopefully, not noticing, while Thiera steps up to the counter.*

T"4 pairs of skates, please."

Spring: "Certainly. The more the merrier. Any particular day?"

Clerk: "In what sizes?"

Taiyo steps up to the counter and states her size.

*Thiera looks down & proves she has a freakish talent for estimating shoe sizes.*

A"I guess a weekend would probably be best?"

*When they finish, Cameron opens his eyes*

<This is...alright.>

Eve:<I'm glad you approve. Now, let's go check the news.>

*Eve heads down stairs*

And now Thiera is stuck footing the bill except for what Taiyo pitches in for her pair.

Spring: "This place has a Saturday afternoon special. Ten percent off regular admission. It's usually quite crowded though, so if you're not bothered by that how does that sound?"

A nurse comes to collect Grimm's tray and brings him his meds and a new pitcher of water.

Anchor: "Earlier today two members of the Tyranno Boys were apprehended by the vigilante most people are refering to as Grapevine as per the name of their controversial blog. When asked citizens had this to say about Grapevine."

The scene transitions to a reporter talking to a middle aged male.

Male: "I'm surprised there aren't more of these heroes who are as out in the public as Grapevine. They're out telling the scum in this city that we shouldn't be afraid of them and we're taking back what's ours."

The reporter goes about talking to a younger male.

Male Two: "Frankly I don't like this Grapevine character. Rather than bring those monstrous Tyranno Boys to justice they simply hand them over to the police who send them to jail where they'll live better than me. On my tax dollars! I think she's supposed heroes should just start killing off these animals."

A middle aged woman.

Woman: "I think it's sick how these people are treated. We ahould strive to reintegrate the dissenfranchised, not lock them up. What happened to second chances and tolerance? What's that? Why yes, I am from San Fransisco. Why do you ask?"

Back to the studio.

Anchor: "Not too long ago, an explosion occured at the Big Buzz Arcade. Presently there are eight dead and twelve wounded. Police suspect the Black Mask is responsible for the bombing as the arcade was a common hangout for members of the Tyranno Boys gang."

Eve:<That's what we should do...>

*Cameron comes slowly down the stairs*

A"That sounds fine."

V"On second thought, I think I'm just going to go."

T"Down, girl. I planned on paying for you & Aroma from the beginning. It's no big deal."

V"But I can't expect you to do that."

Taiyo: "Don't go."

It's beginning to get awkward, so Spring resolves to wrap this up quickly.

Spring: "Wonderful. It starts at one thirty. Nice to see you again, Aroma. And it was nice meetig you all. Farewell, for now."

She buggers off to the pool locker rooms.

Taiyo: "She's nice. And pretty."

T"Bye, we'll see you on Saturday!"

*She waves.*

T"We're also doing a sleepover then, aren't we? Saturday's gonna be a pretty big day."

A"I know. She's just dreamy."

*She wrings her hands together.*

V"Aroma...let's get in there, I'll tell you later."

Taiyo: "It'll be so much fun."

Down a seperate hallway from the pool area is the skating rink. Through a large window and the windows on the door, they can see some people are already in and skating. As expected it's noticibly colder in the rink than the rest of the building.

A few people, parents mostly are sitting on the bleachers watching people skate.

OOC: Odd, my post didn't send earlier.

V"I hope I don't scratch up the inside of these...."

*They put their skates on & head in.*

Taiyo laces up and steps on to the ice, she hangs on to Aroma to steady herself.

Taiyo: "It's been awhile since I skated..."

*Aroma wobbles, trying to stay steady while supporting Taiyo. She puts her left hand around Taiyo's waist, & takes Taiyo's hand with her right.*

A"It's like riding a bike, you never really forget. Here, follow my lead."

*She slowly starts drifting out onto the ice. Ahead of her, Ven proves surprisingly graceful, leaving Thiera--who is doing the bow-legged walk thing--in the dust & even doing a little spin in the center of the rink.*

She smells different.

Taiyo follows Aroma's lead, her eyes widen in amazement when seeing Ven.

Taiyo: "Wow!"

The street lights begin turning on as the sun starts to set.

Azuma: "Guess it's almost that time."

Hitomi takes Azuma's hand and teleports them to her backyard.

Hitomi: "Thank you."

Not sure what she's thanking him for, he just smiles and nods.

Azuma: "See you Monday."

*Aroma frowns.*

A"Yeah, I guess that was a little impressive...one foot after the other, now...."

*Ven sets to skating wide Figure 8's through the other skaters. Thiera slowly makes her way back over to Taiyroma.*

Taiyo continues following Aroma along. Ven gets looks from others although now it's because of her skating abilities as opppsed to her attire. Taiyo still gets looks due to her attire.

*Ven is caught off-guard by people being impressed with her & barely manages to push herself off of an incoming wall, instead of face planting into it.*

A"See, it's really a lot like walking, only you don't pick up your feet. If you keep that in mind, it's easy to keep your balance. To stop, you just spread your legs, & slowly turn, like this."

*She demonstrates, holding tightly to Taiyo so that it's irrelevant if she successfully stops or not. Thiera receives this lesson too late, bumps against the wall, & falls on her ass. Her hands instantly shoot under her arms.*

T"Brr...it's cold down here!"

Taiyo: "Are you all right?"

Taiyo attempts to stop, her knees wobble and she clings to Aroma.

Taiyo: "I should've put my sweater back on. Feel like I might freeze my tummy."

T"Yeah, I should be fine. But can someone help me up?"

*Aroma rubs Taiyo's stomach without thinking too much about it. Because she is a natural-born helper.*

Taiyo's knees begin wobbling.

Taiyo: "O-of cour-"

Her legs give out and she falls, dragging Aroma with her.

Taiyo: "Sorry!"
