The Arrival

*When Tirea walks past a window, the bushes outside are moving.*

*Aroma wakes up & starts making toast.*
=======================================
*Euryale just lies around waiting for Taiyo to wake up. She slept for a couple of hours.*

*Roatha answers the door. It is Thiera, asking if they want to come down to breakfast. Nero can be seen in the background playing some brown shooter.*
========================================
*Gabe & Mortal are presumably on campus, either heading to breakfast, or to the gym. Either way, they see a dead rabbit on the path, missing its eyes & ears. There's a slight smear of blood, indicating that it had been dashed, & dragged partway down the sidewalk.*
========================================
*When Grimm arrives in his church the next day, he finds the verse he repeated previously scrawled all over the walls, crossed out each time. Additionally, the wooden crucifix has had its head sawed off, & a knife stabbed into it. Poor Jesus's head is nowhere to be found.*

"Ew," Mortal said, moving to the side.

"What are you--," Gabe feels herself step on something that wasn't solid ground, and looks down, "Oh! Eewewewewewewewewewewewewew!!!!" Gabe scrapes the bottom of her shoe on the concrete, "What the hell is that?"

"Looks like a bunny," Mortal said, "How sick."

Sab wakes up with a splitting headache, and stays in bed, not wanting to deal with any of that shit.

Noct has a slight headache and kills it with some aspirin, and OJ.

Taiyo stirs a bit before waking up. By falling out of bed.

Azuma leaves the bathroom, still toweling his hair off where he sees Mimiru getting her gym stuff ready.

Azuma: "This early?"

Mimiru: "Uh, yeah."

After a few minutes of just staring around the room Grimm took a deep breath and whispered, "Oh Lord give me the patience..."
Then he checked every inch of the church and it's surrounding grounds for intruders.

Astarte was lying in bed, half asleep but with no intention of rising.

Hector made toast and turned on the TV.

Eduj was jogging.

*Aroma sits down on her bed with a plate of toast.*

"I don't want to be insensitive, but I did try to warn you."

*She sighs, opening the computer on her bedside table.*

"I'll look up hangover remedies on Google."

*Eduj also runs across this scene. Senthose can be seen coming the other way.*

*Euryale leans over.*

"I asked if you wanted the wall side. Are you okay?"

*A dumbfounded reporter is saying that they're receiving numerous reports of sightings of the missing Professor...in France.*

*He finds a trail of mud heading to a broken stain glass window, which he didn't notice before. Lying next to it is a rock that had been thrown through the window. Walking around outside, he finds a footprint in the mud outside of the window. An odd one, it appears to be a worn sneaker with some toes sticking through it. It is very unlikely he'll be able to clean everything up before the parishioners show up.*

Taiyo: "Yeah, happens all the time."

And so Mimiru goes to the gym while Azuma goes to the cafeterua to get breakfast.

Eduj saw the rabbit and stopped. He wrinkled his nose and looked to Mortal and Gabe, "Did you see what did that?"

"Well, shit," Hector said. "Guess he wandered a lot further than us."

Grimm quickly went to the back room and called the police to report the break in, and then went to wait by the door.

*Eve gets dressed and heads down to breakfast*

*Tirea stops dead in her tracks and slowly approaches the bushes*

*Monu heads to a very early class*

*Cameron is still asleep*

*She is looking out of a window at the tops of the bushes, which slowly stop swaying.*

*No one is there. It is the weekend.*

*Senthose stops & looks down, showing no signs of disgust.*

"...Did you all organize a ritualistic sacrifice without me, or something?"

"O...kay...what do you want for breakfast, then?"
=====================================
*Eventually, a cop car pulls up beside the church, & a female officer steps out.*

<What seems to be the problem, Sir?>

{No confirmation at this time, or word on the fate of the driver. Reports say that she...went back into the forest.}

*There are only a few people in the cafeteria, none of whom she recognizes.*

*Eve gets her food and sits at an empty table*

*Monu slaps himself before heading home and back to bed*

"It definitely isn't a natural killing, is it?" Eduj asked, looking to Senthose.

"Interesting..." Hector said quietly. He remembered his dead mother, and the fake which tried to get into their cabin. He shivered.

"Step inside and see for yourself- somebody has vandalized the church!" Grimm said, opening the door for her. "They have scrawled all over my walls, mutilated the crucifix and smashed a window. There is a footprint out in the mud, too."

Taiyo: "I'm not sure. Doesn't really matter much."

Azuma goes to the cafeteria to get him some breakfast.

She shrugs and goes to change out.

Gabe shrugged, still scraping her shoe, "I don't know. We just found it like this."

"Yea," Mortal said, "Should we call school safety or something?"

Sab frowned, "But I only had one drink..." She took a bite of toast.

Noct gets ready for the day, and heads down to the store to pick up some supplies for the cake.

*Senthose sighs in annoyance at Eduj's remark, not noticing Noctis arriving on this growing scene.*

"A fox could have came onto the grounds, started to eat it, and been scared off. Otherwise...well, in any case, I guess they probably will have some procedure for disposing of dead animals on the campus grounds."

*She points somewhere on her screen.*

*She steps in, & looks around.*

*She heads over to the window, & looks out.*

<Definitely enough room to climb in from outside. I'll have to head out, & around, to get measurements of the print.>

*Tirea gets no answer.*

*Azuma & Eve spot each other from across the cafeteria.*

"I'll make us some eggs, then."

{In terms of the weather, sunny, but getting chillier. Winter is right around the corner, folks.}

*The only girl she saw in the gym, some blond chick in a lime green tank top, with blue shorts & headband running on a treadmill, comes into the dressing room to change back into street clothes & leave.*

Taiyo: "Okay."

Azuma goes and gets himself some breakfast.

Mimiru doesn't pay any attention to some stranger and finishes changing and wrapping her hands before heading out to the gym itself.

"It seems a strange way to eat a rabbit, though," Eduj said. "The ears and eyes would be odd places to start, rather than a more fleshy part. I'm just worried some psycho might have killed it."

Hector turned off the TV and put his empty plate in the dishwasher. He went to Astarte's room to wake her up.

"Okay," Grimm said. "It would be no problem if I started cleaning up, right?"

Noct looked down at the bunny, then at the people, "I knew it was a bad idea for you to have a pet, but I didn't know it would turn out this bad, Mortal."

"Haha... What are you here for, I thought you didn't have class," Mortal said.

"Supplies for the cake," Noct said, "Hello, Senthose."

"So, going to call Astarte so you can get the final ingredient?" Mortal said, causing Gabe to snicker.

"Funny, and you have blood on your sneaker."

"I know!" Gabe went back to scraping the bottom of her shoe on the ground.

"Alright, well, I'm going to go to the store now," Noct said.

"That isn't fair," Sab said, nibbling on her bread.

<If you don't want whoever did this to be prosecuted. I need to take pictures, for evidence. I can get to that quickly, if need be, but...it'll take a miracle to clean this before someone shows up.>

*Her look suggests that she's barely suppressing the urge to snicker at her own joke.*

"I suppose I'm not going to stand around here staring at a dead rabbit all day, either."

*Senthose walks around it, & keeps heading for the library.*

*Aroma is still looking up hangover remedies. She takes a few bites of toast.*

*As mentioned previously, the gym is empty.*
======================================
*Euryale gets up & heads over to the stove, taking care not to step on Taiyo, who never did seem to get up off of the floor.*

"Just tell me how you want 'em."

"Okay, then," Grimm turned and returned to the doorway, so that when a parishioner turned up he could explain what had occurred.

Eduj looked at the others, wondering what they were going to do.

"Hey, we should do something," Hector said as he managed to wake Astarte up and have her pay attention. "We could go to the park or something."
"Why?" Astarte asked, rubbing her eyes.
"It's a nice day, it's a weekend and we should do something normal together again that doesn't involve drinking," Hector said. "How about it? You could invite a friend or something if you wanted."
Astarte considered the option for a few moments, and Hector poked her when it seemed as though she had fallen asleep again.
"Don't want to?"
"...I guess we could. I'll have breakfast first though."

"Does the raw egg thing work?" Sab asked, seriously considering it.

"Uh, yea, it would be nice to actually get some breakfast," Mortal said, "Later guys."

"Later Mortal, Gabe. Later Senthose," Noct continues on. Gabe waves to everyone else, and heads over follow Mortal to the cafeteria.

Taiyo: "Scrambled."

Taiyo gets up and sits on the bed.

Taiyo: "Sorry about last night."

She begins as she usually does with the punching bag.

*Eve waves at Azuma*

*Cameron falls out of bed, then texts Astarte*

Good Morning! What are your plans for the day?

*Aroma shrugs.*

"Isn't that a salmonella risk?"

*She rips one of the branches off.*

*Mortal & Gabe arrive in the cafeteria & see the other characters who are in there.*

"Alright. And sorry about what?"

*Euryale digs out a frying pan & puts it on the stove.*

*It is apparently grocery day, as the store is packed with people, & long lines.*

*Assuming that Mimiru is wearing headphones, she can hear creaking noises in the lulls of the music. Otherwise, she just occasionally hears creaking noises.*

*Tirea shakily closes the window, then calls Monu*

Monu:{Hey Tirea, you're still coming to movie night tonight, right?}

{Yeah, but that's not what I called about. I think there's something outside my window.}

Monu:{Do you need me to come over?}

{No, I think it's nothing.}

Monu:{Alright, see you tonight.}

Taiyo: "About not wanting to 'try again'."
