The Arrival

Mimiru steps back, kicking not being her thing while Taiyo watches with eyes open wide.

Taiyo: "Wow."

Azuma spins around to look behind him, paddle up.

E"Now, you try."

L"We'd better hurry, then."

*There is no one behind him.*

*Aroma climbs onto the branch, shimmying as fast as possible when it starts to bend. As she reaches the middle of the tree, Noct's door simply opens, creaking as if from a gentle push. Of course, the Shadow is standing in the middle of a darkened hallway, visible only because of the contrast from the room's light.*

Jane<But there's no evidence of a struggle at all. No footprints, no finger prints, no nothing. And did you look at the victims? There are no wounds on them. I think we're dealing with a medical emergency, here.>

Noct pushes Astarte toward the window, "Hurry, now!!"

Sab looks up from the ground, "Is everything okay?!"

Noct reaches into her pocket, and pulls out her phone, attempting to get a video recording of what she is looking at.

Taiyo mimics Euryale, her kick being much more impressive than her punch, the bag actually moving.

And so he decides to get the hell out of there.

After a feeble, overshadowed attempt to make Noctis go first, Astarte went out of the window and jumped right down into the bushes.

"Well, I don't think there's much more to be said," Hector turned and walked out, Eduj in tow.

*After falling 3 stories onto a bush, Astarte is covered with unidentifiable aches & pains. After the first few branches, Aroma falls out of the tree, but pulls herself to her feet as quickly as possible.*

A"Noct, come ON!"

*Up above, the creature seems to take a step forward, but is suddenly right in front of Noctis. All the camera is recording is darkness. She does hear strange static noises with high pitched screeches inter-spaced within.*

*Azuma is approaching the gym.*

*Within the gym, Euryale nods.*

E"As I suspected, you have more leg strength. So your plan is probably going to be to distract your attacker long enough to get away."

Astarte scrambled out of the bush on her hands and feet, groaning. As soon as she was clear of it she rolled over and looked up at the window Noct was behind, biting down hard on her lower lip.

Noct let out a yelp, and took quick steps backwards until she suddenly felt weightless.

Sab screams as she sees her friend falling backwards out of a window.

Astarte opened her mouth wide in a silent scream as she watched Noct fall backwards, feeling like she was watching it happen in slow motion.

Taiyo: "I guess. I'd like to not have to get in a fight or anything like that at all."

And so he goes into the gym when he reaches the doors.

*Eve nods*

<Lead the way, Thiera.>

Monu:<Okay. There's...something else as well. Their daughter, Tirea, called me asking for help. We looked everywhere and haven't found her, which is why we came here.>

*Monu runs his had though his hair*

OOC: Protip, I can't fucking timeskip if you keep asking questions & arranging meetings.

Jane<Hm...I'll start a search. Do you know the last place she was seen?>

*Thiera boards the elevator & clicks the button for Roatha's floor.*

E"I'm not sure we'll be able to avoid that, from now on. Oh, hi, Azuma."

*Aroma runs forward to catch Noctis, & they wind up on the ground in a tangled mess. The Shadow seems to vanish, reappearing before them.*

Monu:<She was supposed to be class when I got the call, so the [Tirea's building number] building.>

*Eve follows Thiera*

When Sab sees Aroma rush forward she tries to go after her, to help her catch, but isn't fast enough, and just watches her friend and girlfriend collide, "Oh no!" She tries to help up Noctis because she is on top of Aroma. When Noct shakily gets to her feet, Sab asks Aroma, "Are you alright?"

As Noct gets up she notices the Shadow, "Jesus fuck!" She tries to pull Aroma to her feet, and get away from the shadow at the same time, "C'mon, we have to go!"

Taiyo: "Right..."

Azuma: "Hey..."

Mimiru: "What's with you?"

Azuma: "A little spooked is all. Maybe hanging around a closed in box wasn't such a good idea."

*And so they run along, the Shadow following along slowly behind them.*

Jane<Alright, I'll head over there now.>

*She turns into the twilight to leave.*
