Eduj continued his jog.

Well, Monu, Tirea, Kylie and I were planning on having a move night tonight. I was wondering if you'd like to join us.

"Oh...don't worry about that, I'd already, uh, forgot."

*Her tone suggests that she's been reminded.*

*She doesn't see anything, though she notes that there are no actual doors to the restrooms or locker rooms, just one of those short hallways with a few right turns.*

*Some guy with black hair & a soul patch arrives out in front of Grimm's church.*

<Um...what is going on?>

*Meanwhile, the cop takes a camera out of her car, & heads back in.*

*Since this building is across the street from the campus, Eduj eventually comes to the point where he can see this scene, but not hear it.*

*Eve throws away her trash then heads to the library*

*Tirea grabs her bag and heads to the gym*

*Monu heads to the grocery store*

Gabe and Mortal are too busy trying to look for a table, and getting food to notice if they know anyone in the cafeteria. Eventually, they get their food, and start munching away. Gabe puts her fork down, and leans back, "I can't even eat anymore. That thing killed my appetite..."

"Oh quit being a big baby," Mortal said, stealing some of Gabe's bacon.

Noct cursed whatever magic man in the sky caused this, and let out a sign as she went through and began to purchase her supplies.

"I thought you only got that from uncooked chicken," Sab said.

Maybe. There might be something I have to do tonight, but I'm not sure. I'll get back to you on that.
She finished her toast and went to get dressed.

Eduj went over as well.

"Somebody attacked the church, I'm afraid. There is much graffiti and property damage," Grimm replied in a sorrowful tone. "I could move the sermon to the garden, but I would have to wait until this policewoman has finished her work for the moment."

Taiyo: "Oh..."

Taiyo backs off into a corner on the bed.

Azuma sits at a table and chows down.

She shrugs and returns to punching at the bag.

Now I'm getting all jumpy.

<I don't know, it's kind of chilly out here....>

*She goes about snapping pictures for a while, then heads back to her car.*

*She manages to navigate the aisles fairly easily. Now it's just a matter of waiting in line.*

"...Eggs are done."

*Euryale turns off the stove, moves the pan off of the burner, & heads to get plates.*

*Aroma shrugs, & looks it up.*

*Eve passes Senthose on his way to the cafeteria.*

*Eve sees Mimiru. Mimiru hears the door open, & footsteps approach her from behind.*

*The dead rabbit is still lying on the path when Monu walks down it.*

"I'm afraid it is the best I can do," Grimm said. He noticed Eduj coming and his expression darkened.

Astarte finished dressing and put her phone in her pocket without checking it. The two of them left and began walking to the park.

Taiyo: "Um, okay."

She gets up off the bed and goes to the kitchen area.

Sab finished her toast, then made her way to look over Aroma's shoulder.

Gabe is unamused, but pulls out her phone anyway, and calls campus safety.

It features a large expanse of grassland, with a few areas set up for sports, such as a volleyball net & a couple of goals, & a stream with a small arch bridge over it. It also has several nature trails through the woods.*

*The woman from yesterday shows up, scowling deeply.*

*When Noct does get in line, a dude in a brown shirt with spiky blond hair & glasses steps behind her. He also starts breathing in a really deep, nasally way, right over her shoulder.*

"See, I'm fine," Sab said, "The likelihood is so low I might as well be afraid of spooky ghosts, and monsters in my closet."

Noct takes a step forward to put distance between herself and the man, then looks over her shoulder.

"Yes, the walkway to the cafeteria from the dorms has a mutilated rabbit on it," Gabe said, "I think it is just some other animal, but it was kinda creepy. I'm not sure who to call to get rid of it, but I thought this would work."

Taiyo stares at Euryale from the othet end of the table in curious wonder.

"I'm afraid somebody attacked the church and left it in a frightful state," Grimm said. He glanced at Eduj who was kind of standing off to one side. "Either the sermon will have to be called off or we could do it in the garden."

The two of them took their time walking there, and once there they found a tree and sat under it. There was some further silence before Hector finally spoke, "So... that Nero guy, huh? Anything ever happen with him?"
"Uh... no," Astarte said, surprised by the question. "After that time he got me a drink he kind of... got mad because Cameron was being nice to me, or something... and yeah..."
Hector seemed satisfied.

*Euryale opens her eyes & moves to eat, but notices Taiyo staring at her. She blinks, then smiles.*

"What is it?"

*The cop grabs some measurement materials & what looks to be a bag of cement, then heads off around the church.*

*He takes a step of the same distance that she does. He then looks back & forth when she turns around.*

<We'll get a groundsman out there straightaway. Is there anything else that we should know about the animal?>

*Of all things, they see Vanessa exit one of the nature trails, & enter another one.*

Taiyo: "Oh, nothing. I wasn't making you nervous or anything?"

"Can I help you?" Noct asked, putting a hand in her pocket, and grabbing a hold of a small knife she always kept around.

"...Maybe I should stick to toast," Sab said.

"Uh, no, just that it looks really gross, and bloody," Gabe said.

"I am very sorry, but I can't guard the church day and night," Grimm said. "The police shall do what they can to bring justice, and whether or not they succeed, God will judge them. Now please excuse me, I have somewhat related questions to ask this boy."
Grimm stepped over to Eduj and glared at him, causing Eduj to tense up. Grimm spoke quietly, "Did you and your hot-headed friend have anything to do with this? I remember him very well."
Eduj hesitated and shrugged, "I don't know. I don't think he would have, honestly."
Grimm just glared.

"Hey, it's that girl," Hector pointed out. "Didn't everyone think she was missing or something? Should we, like, follow her?"
Astarte hesitated, "Um... yeah, maybe."
Hector stood up and, followed by Astarte, headed for the trail Vanessa had gone into.

"No, silly, I had my eyes closed, I couldn't even see you."

"No problem," Gabe said cheerily, "Have a wonderful day."

Noct looks to see if there is anyone behind the man in line.

When Astarte reached the start of the trail she stopped, finding herself unable to go in. Hector didn't notice and continued after Vanessa. He called her name.

"I don't think that is quite fair," Grimm said, turning to the woman. "But if you insist I can't stop you."

*Nope.*
