R"...Is something going on?"

"So, why did you take that class? What's your major?"

Astarte went silent for a few moments, pale, hand shaking just slightly, then replied while trying to sound as normal as possible, "Okay, are you alright?"

"...Uhh," Hector looked around the room. "Well, fuck, I don't know. I only have Euryale's number, want me to call her? I should call Astarte, too."

Grimm walked back to the church with his things.

{Yeah, it'd be awesome if you could call Euryale. Cameron's already called Astarte though.]

<I hope my joining you is not a problem.>

"Yeah, thanks... do you need me for anything?" Astarte said, feeling nothing but the desire to cut off from the situation. She couldn't hide the apprehension from her voice.

"Yeah, alright, I'll call her now," Hector said before ending the call and dialing Euryale.

{I...I just wanted to make sure you were alright and let you know he was back. But, there's something I need to talk to you in person about. If you can't come tonight, hopefully I'll see you in the next day or two. Please, stay safe.}

"Hi, this is Euryale! I can't answer the phone right now, so leave a message after the--BEEP!"

N"What's the problem?"

<Oh, I was studying in the library, got stalked, and decided i didn't want to be alone. So I called Thirea.>

Taiyo: "Which class? And...I'm majoring in Animal Science."

Mimiru answers.

Mimiru: "Hello."

"Euryale, Monu called and said the shadow thing attacked him and Roatha," Hector said. "So... yeah that might call for some kind of meeting or action or whatever. If you want his number so you can call him yourself sometime it is..."
He gave the number.

Grimm set to placing the board across the empty window space from the inside and taping it on.

"You too," Astarte said, ending the call and putting her phone away. She looked at her milk, downcast.

"The one that didn't go so well. What were you thinking of doing for your project?"

R"I see. I think we need to just ambush the next asshole that tries to follow us."

Taiyo: "Oh. I don't actually remember for either. What about you?"

{We just got chased by the shadow man, but we escaped. Can you tell everyone you can that he's back.>

Noct tried to give Astarte a bit of privacy, so when she took her call Noct stood up and walked over to check on the cake. It had cooled enough, and she went about taking it out of the pan, plating it, and frosting it. She brings back a slice to Astarte along with one of her own and frowns when she sees Astarte looking as if someone told her that her favorite show sucked. "Is everything alright?" Noct asked as she put the plates down on the coffee table. In the same motion she also took a seat next to Astarte, and put an arm around her shoulder, "You look upset. Was the call bad news?"

Sab smiled and said, "Oh, great. I'll go put on shoes and we can get out of here." She scurried off to do just that.

Gabe thought the movie was cool, but Mortal was pretty ambivalent. "It was alright I guess," Mortal said.

"Oh, c'mon, that last fight scene was so cool! Vulcan death grip, Mortal! He tanked a Vulcan death grip!" Gabe said, "Senthose, back me up here."

"I didn't know you were such a nerd."

*And so they walk to Noct's, presumably hand-in-hand. Not much of a walk, because just about everyone lives in the same dorm building. So they're really walking to the elevator.*

*Cameron puts his phone in his pocket before getting Tirea, who has moved onto the couch, some ice*

Cameron:<I can't tell you how sorry I am.>

*Tirea glares at him*

Monu:<Here, eat this.>

*Monu opens one of the bags he had bought for that night, and gives Tirea some candy*

"Sounds like Senthose isn't a nerd," Mortal said.

Gabe just waved them both off, "Meh, you don't know good cinema when you see it."

"Suuuuuure, and you're such a trusted opinion."

"I still don't know what you have against Pocahontas..."

Astarte shied away from the arm a little bit, but let it stay. She took a sip of her milk and then forced a less upset expression, "A couple of friends of mine were involved in a little accident. Apparently they're alright it's just... distressing to hear."
Her pocket vibrated once.

Hector sent Astarte a message, You alright, sis? I heard Cameron told you what happened. I could come and pick you up whenever, if you like.

Grimm went and kept cleaning up where he could.

Noct frowned, "I'm sorry to hear that." She gave a little smile before continuing, "At least everything is alright with them. And there is cake." Noct gave Astarte's shoulder a small squeeze before standing as she heard a knock at the door. "I suppose they're here."

Indeed they were, as Sab knocked on the door when they arrived. She smiled and waved as Noct opened the door.

"Hello, Noct."

N"What we can do is lower our voices so that the theater crowd doesn't stare at us."

"First of all, the best Disney movie is either the Lion King or the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Second of all, the only good science fiction series is The Twilight Zone. An example of a good movie would be Pulp Fiction."

Astarte sent her reply before looking to the door, where she heard the new voices.

Taiyo: "Oh. What's your major?"

Mimiru calls Taiyo, not getting answer.

Mimiru: "Damn it."

Azuma: "What's up?"

Mimiru: "Apparently that shadow thing is in town."

She tries calling Euryale.

*Euryale does her damnedest to not answer her phone, which keeps buzzing for some odd reason.*

"I don't have one yet."

R"I wouldn't really know where to go."

N"I guarantee you that there are a ton of empty classrooms, computer labs, student lounges, and the like. We just have to find one that isn't locked."

Taiyo: "Do you have any ideas?"

"Yeah, ah, Aroma? And Sab?" Astarte stood up. "It's nice to see you again."
