The Arrival

Taiyo: "Broken into?"

Astarte was still red, and looked up at Noctis with a stupid grin.

"Well... sure," Hector said. "Where?"

Grimm put a $20 note down in front of her.

And as they stupidly grin at each other, Mortal lets out a sigh, "Well, Gabe, mind if I come over?"

"Why? Oh... Sure," Gabe said with a shrug, "I could use some company anyway."

*She gives him a key.*

*They presumably file into the elevator. Roatha pushes the button.*

R"Only explanation we can think of--someone must have figured out a way to get in there without using your ID."

A"So, we're not doing anything? That could be all right...I was thinking of seeing if Sab wanted to stay in &...hug."

Mortal looked at Aroma and nodded approvingly.

Sab looked a bit confused, "We don't need to stay inside to hug. We can hug right here."

"And you wonder why there are rumors about you, Sab..." Mortal said with a sigh, causing Gabe to outright laugh.

Taiyo is totally out of the loop and can only guess what they're talking about.

Taiyo: "Your room was broken into?"

Astarte remained doing nothing but smile and not know what to do with her feet or unoccupied hand.

Grimm looked for the number on the key/keyring and found his room.

E"Sounds like it."

*Once they reach the floor, Roatha, Thiera, & Euryale lead the way to Euryale's room.*

*Aroma looks Mortal right in the eye & shakes her head a couple of times, before turning to Sab.*

A"Well, I still need to put my stuff back."

*She raises her arms, which her books are in.*

L"Seems like love is in the air. Say...if you're not doing anything tomorrow, would you like to grab some breakfast?"

S"Why, I was just about to ask you."

*The room is fairly simple, hard wood all around, an end table with a lamp on it, a ceiling fan with a light bulb in it, & a twin bed with a green bedspread & a flattened pillow.*

Taiyo follows, looking down the hall where her own room was.

Mortal extends a brofist to Aroma.

Sab let out another excited squeal at Senthose and Lilith, "Guys, this is great! We should like, triple date sometime."

Noct looked at Sab, and tried to find the best way to say no to her idea, finally settling on, "I doubt that that would be for the best."

"A 'triple date' sounds kind of formal," Astarte said. "Wouldn't it be nicer if we could all just get lunch like this again sometime?"

Grimm walked in, locked the door, closed the blinds and put his backpack on the bed. He took out some bread and started eating it.

*Aroma & Mortal brofist, like massive tools. The impact of Aroma's arm feels a little bit less like a wet noodle.*

A"Mortal & Gabe aren't dating, though."

*Lilith blushes & takes a step away from Sab. Senthose appears to be just watching half of the group acting like fools.*

*They open the door to find the room exactly as they had left it.*

E"Yeah, I see what you mean. Still, everything looks fine, unless there's a bomb in that suitcase, or something."

Gabe now feels like an unloved weirdo, though Mortal doesn't seem to mind the comment, "We can still hang out even though you're all tied down now."

Sab nodded, "Yeah, it'll still be fun."

"Uh, anyway, we should probably head out about now," Noct said.

"Do you still have class this afternoon?" Astarte looked to Noct.

"No, I'm completely free," Noct said, "You?"

"I have a lecture, but I'm sure I could miss it..."

"I'm sure you can get notes off someone," Noct said, "Why don't you come back to my place, and we can hang out."

"Noct, wasting no time in becoming a bad influence," Gabe said.

Taiyo: "Wish I got so lucky. Unless there is a bomb..."

*Eve steps in last*

<Is there any possibility you left the door open?>

E"I don't think so. Aw, Sweetie, it's okay."

*She steps towards Taiyo with her arms outstretched, then stops as she hears a zipping noise. She turns to glare at Roatha, along with Thiera, as he rummages through Eve's suitcase.*

R"...What? You guys kept talking about a bomb."

*Aroma takes Sab's hand.*

A"Alright, well, we'll see you guys around!"

S"Same here."

L"Ditto."

*Eve doesn't really seemed all that upset*

<I don't think we were being all that serious.>

And so everyone waves and goes their separate ways, except the ones heading back to the dorms I suppose.

"Oh, wait..." Astarte said as she walked with Noct. She slowed to a halt. "Cameron said he had something to give me after lunch."

"Well, I'm at the bar, so if you want to come around, sure."

{Alright. I'll text Cameron and head over there.}

*Monu hangs up, then texts Cameron the news before heading off to the bar*

"Cameron? Oh, that guy," Noct said, clearly a bit disdainfully. "Is he going to be okay with us going out? You know he likes you."
