Renamon: "Your words mean a lot to me."

And so the two sit in a comfortable silence, enjoying each others company.

"Thanks."

*She offers Renamon a quick hug, then takes Taiyo's hand & waves.*

"I know it's a bit late, but I promise I'll get her back in one piece!"

"I guess I'm just looking for my place."

Renamon accepts the hug. Taiyo's mom comes in just as Taiyo shouts "Bye" and closes the door.

Loren: "Never answering the phone when work calls on days like these."

Loren looks to Renamon who looks fairly flustered.

Loren: "You'll be watching over them, won't you?"

Renamon nods and makes her way to Taiyo's bedroom to leave out the window.

*Cameron picks up Yokomon and walks to fall into step with Thiera*

<What do you mean by that?>

T"I apologized, but...I still don't feel it was right, what happened. It should have been preventable. You know I've never once seen those mercenaries hit one of their own. Are we really any better than they are? I mean, does it really matter to a village full of Digimon whether or not you meant to eradicate them?"

E"So, I thought to get all dressed up, but of course, I never really think it through. I thought about stargazing at the park, seems romantic, but figured we should get something to eat first. But I don't know where."

Taiyo: "There's probably a twenty four hour convenience store open. Not the best, but it could make up for the picnic that got missed."

*Cameron stares at the ground*

<I...I don't feel what we did was right. We rashly attacked a group of digimon and that wasn't right. Ever since you've left, Kylie's been trying to follow your example, with about 50% results.>

E"Well, I really wanted to take you somewhere nice. Are you sure that's okay?"

T"But I don't know what I'm supposed to do about it."

Taiyo: "It's okay. Having you back is the important part."

<I don't think there's anything you can do now. However, that's okay.>

*Cameron smiles*

"But what I mean is, I think we probably could find a restaurant. If you just want to have a picnic under the stars, I think that's a fantastic idea. But if not, I don't want you to settle for something just because it's convenient for me. This is a special night."

"How is anything about this okay?"

<There's no way to change the past, so we'll just have to try and act better next time. There's nothing more you can really do.>

Taiyo: "A picnic under the stars would be great."

"And how do we even do that? What are we supposed to do?"

"Great."

*As they come upon a convenience store, Euryale strolls in, holding the door open for Taiyo. Spotting a fruit stand, she grabs a trio of oranges.*

Taiyo sets to grabbing some drinks. Orange juice for herself then whatever Euryale had on their first date or something close to it.

The two left the cafe some time ago as it had closed and were presently walking about hand in hand.

Hitomi: "Today's been a good day."

Azuma: "Yeah. I wish it wouldn't end."

<We've been trying to talk first, and only use violence as a last resort.>

*With that, Euryale heads to the counter.*

E"I'd like a hot sandwich, please."

*She looks back over her shoulder.*

E"Taiyo, do you like any kind of sweets? I'm gonna grab a bag of Kasugai for myself, then I'm all set."

*Azuma & Hitomi pass by the park. They can see a little white...thing shuffling up the path.*

"But can we really stop these guys? Euryale's back, & that's great, but we still don't have any kind of plan."

Taiyo resolves for a thing of pocky. And a regular cold deli-esque sandwich.

Taiyo: "I'm good."

Hitomi's eyes widen at the possibility of it be Calamon and essentially drags Azuma as she heads off after it.

*Cameron shrugs*

<I think we have to try. We're already involved, and even if we stopped going to the digital world we'd probably still be targeted. As for a plan, I think we should discuss thing with the rest of the group.>

*Calamon looks back, then takes off running.*

*Once they pay for their shit, their sandwiches are wrapped up, & all of their stuff is put in plastic bags, Euryale puts an arm around Taiyo's shoulder & leads her towards the park.*

Taiyo puts an arm around Euryale's waist and follows along.

The two follow after Calamon, Azuma having to release Hitomi's hand or forever be dragged across the ground.

<Calamon's back!>

*Cameron races off after him, turning around to see if Thiera's following*

*She is not. Calamon giggles & runs up & along the hand rail of a small bridge over a stream.*

*Meanwhile, Taiyurle enters the park.*

"Let's see...where's a good spot to set up?"

Taiyo: "Is there a hill or something around?"

Azuma: "He sure can run with those stubby legs."

*Cameron runs back over to her*
