Episode Three: Beneath the Deep

*Terriermon, Lunamon, and Biyomon all digivolve, Saberdramon taking to the air above the trees, then diving to use Black Saber. Lekismon throws a Tear Arrow at Wendigimon's right eye, well Gargomon charges, firing Gargo Laser*

Wendigomon roars, the soundwave it produces, knocking everyone back.

Saberdramon can't see shit from where it is on account of the thick trees and perpetual mist in the forest.

The Digimon right themselves, Gatomon climbing up a tree where she fires a Cat Laser and Wendigomon which grabs her and holds her above its gaping maw.

Ogremon lunges forward and strikes it in the stomach with its club, the beast hunching over and dropping Gatomon.

*They just do what they were going to do earlier.*

*Same here, except for Saberdramon, who starts tearing apart the trees looking for his target*

Renamon steps in to pull Euryale away from Aroma who had taken a bite at Aroma. This unfortunately leaves Taiyo with only Dorugamon to keep Aroma at bay who is likely too much for him to handle.

Wendigomon swings at Growlmon, its arm extending.

Angemon hurls his staff at Wendigomon, the wind picks up knocking it and Lekismon's arrow off course.

Gargomon's attack ellicts a roar from the monster forcing those directly in its path to shield their ears.

*Dorugamon just kind of keeps pushing Aroma out of the way. She looks like she's about to cry. Growlmon engages one of its energy blades & slips by the claw, attempting to cut its arm. Sunflowmon fires SUNSHINE BEAMS as rapidly as she can at his face, chest, & stomach.*

*Gargomon repeats the attack, why Lekismon uses MoonNight Bomb to try and put Wendigomon to sleep. Saberdramon dives in the direction of the roar*

Thick trees and mist reducing visibility from above to nil make for bad diving conditions and Saberdramon does more self harm than good. He lands in front of a Biyomon statue, a look of horror on its face.

The mist envelopes Wendigomon and it appears to have vanished. Although Aroma and Euryale trying to each whoever is closest to them says otherwise.

*As I still don't know fuck-all about how this cannibalism trance works, there's not much I can post for them. The others try to detect Wendigomon using smell or hearing.*

*Saberdramon dedigivolves and heads back over to the others. Meanwhile, Lekismon grabs Aroma, holding her tightly but gently*

Renamon forces Euryale face down on the ground much to Taiyo's dismay.

Wendigomon appears beside Dorugamon, giving him a hard kick that lifts him off the ground and stretches an arm out to grab Biyomon.

Ogremon charges and attacks, striking its stretched out arm with its club, forcing it to the ground where its fingers twitch at Biyomon. Ogremon then steps on it when Wendigomon tries to retract the arm.

*Biyomon digivolves and uses Night Roar. Gargomon jumps onto Wendigomon's chest and starts using Bunny Pummel*

*Euryale decides that the games are over. Before she can be brought down completely, she arches her back, so as to create a fulcrum, grabbing Renamon's wrist with 1 hand & steadying herself with the other. She then smashes her heel down hard on Renamon's ankle while pulling her arm & weight forward, to throw Renamon over in front of her. Aroma presumably bites Lekismon's arm. Growlmon & Sunflowmon attack Wendigomon with fire & a BEAM OF SUNSHINE, respectively.*

Renamon turns over and gets on all fours, growling. Not sticking around in front of Euryale, she does her whole flashstep thing to appear behind Euryale and strikes the base of her spine with an open palm and kicks at the back of her right leg.

Taiyo averts her eyes.

Wendigomon, roars in Gargomon's face, forcing him back. The other two move behind Wendigomon, attacking with Holy Shot and Cat's Laser.

*Having never seen this before, Euryale is caught more-or-less off-guard. However, she does manage to sweep her arm back, trying to hit Renamon with it before she goes down. The Digimon keep attacking Wendigomon, now focusing their attacks on his uninjured arm.*

*Lekismon taps Aroma on the nose like you would a naughty bunny.*

<None of that now.>

*The other digimon repeat their attack, Gargomon jumping back up on Wendigomon*

Ogremon drives his club into the arm he's standing on, beginning to lose his balance.

Ogremon: "Cut the damn arm off!"

Renamon blocks and grabs the arm, twisting it behind Euryale's back.

Renamon: "This isn't you. Fight it."

Wendigomon roars in Gargomon's face, knocking him on his ass.

Large gashes appear in its back where Angemon and Gatomon are attack, seperating when it turns and extends its other arm in a haphazard manner at them.

*Saberdramon claws at the arm, while Gargomon fires on it*

*Aroma digs in with her teeth while the other Digimon continue trying to sever Wendigomon's other arm, & Euryale just lays there, snarling.*

Wendigomon howls with the loss of the arm, what's left of it retracting back to the main body. The wind picks up scattering the arms data.

Ogremon rushes forward and jumps smashing its club into the side of Wendigomon's head. Missing an arm to catch its balance, it collapses.

Renamon puts a knee in Euryale's back to keep her pinned.

*She continues snarling for the foreseeable future. The other Digimon keep attacking.*

*They attack the head. Lekismon pulls Aroma off*

Angemon brings his staff down on Wendigomon's head, the monster lets out a pained roar although no shockwave follows it and it dissolves. Its data scatters to the winds as it dies down until it just lingers about.

Ogremon: "Don't load the data, lest you wish to succumb to the same virus."

Aroma & Euryale begin to settle down, Renamon releasing Euryale.

Eve:<I see...>

*Gargomon and Saberdramon dedigivolve, and land near their partners. Lekismon puts Aroma on the ground*

*Aroma grabs her head with her hands & shakes it. Sunflowmon de-Digivolves & flies over to hug her.*

A"Oh God, what did I do?! I'm so sorry, sorry, sorry, can you please forgive me?!"

*Euryale rolls over & looks at Renamon with a pained expression.*

E"I'm sorry, I wasn't myself. I could hear your voice, but it was all just a blur. This wouldn't have happened if I'd kept up with my meditation."

*The now de-Digivolved Guilmon walks over & nudges her head with his snout before licking her. She absent-mindedly scratches his chin. Meanwhile, Dorugamon de-digivolves & just goes over to stand beside Roatha, who both watch the proceedings warily.*
