Episode Three: Beneath the Deep

Renamon: "It was not your intention to do harm. I apologize if I had injured you."

Taiyo goes to Euryale.

Taiyo: "Are you all right?"

The two revert to Rookie and join their partners.

Ogremon: "No one's bleeding or dying. Let's keep moving."

Ogremon resumes walking, ignoring any statues present.

E"I'm fine. Except I think I'm stunned from the waist down."

R"Dorumon can re-digivolve & carry you."

*Lekismon dedigivolves and pats Aroma on the back*

<It's alright.>

Renamon: "I will carry her."

And so Renamon Digivolves and Kyubimon lowers herself so Euryale has a better time getting on as Taiyo helps her up.

Azuma: "Say, what's with the statues?"

Ogremon: "More questions? Before Wendigomon, there was Cockatorimon. The statues are those that got lost in the woods before Leomon destroyed Cockatorimon."

E"Thanks...can they be turned back?"

*Terriermon climbs up to Eve's shoulder*

Kylie:<We have to try!>

Ogremon: "Cockatorimon was destroyed before Millenniummon emerged. If they could've have been turned back, they would have been."

And so they keep going, Kyubimon standing once Euryale and Taiyo have climbed aboard, Taiyo holding on to Euryale.

BlackWarGreymon emerges from the cave it sought shelter in, the fight with Murmukusmon taking a toll on it. While rested it wasn't quite up to full strength yet.

The have had been unhabited recently, a number of scents still lingered. The scents of unfamiliar humans and Digimon. Though not all Digimon scents were unfamiliar. It could pick out a Terriermon and a Guilmon.

It took flight, its next destination Overdell Cemetery.

*Euryale rubs Taiyo's hand.*

E"Thank you."

A"But there might be an antidote. Surely someone is looking for it."

Kylie:<Oh...>

*Kylie looks rather sad*

Ogremon: "While an enemy of both worlds exists? If so, it's not at the top of anyone's to-do list."

The mist begins to thin as sunlight becomes more visible as they reach a clearing taking them to a beach.

Azuma: "Of course."

Ogremon: "This is as far as I take you."

A"That's horrible...."

*Aroma watches her feet as she walks.*

E"I guess we'll just have to worry about it after we've fried the whale shark that is Millenniummon."

R"Well, thanks for the tour."

E"Yes, we are in your debt...though I can't help feeling like I've forgotten something...."

Taiyo: "What'd you forget?"

Eve:<How do we plan on crossing?>

Cameron:<Saberdramon can fly a few of us...>

E"I dunno. Like I was supposed to do something, or something."

Azuma: "And the thing in the ocean?"

Taiyo rubs Euryale's bare stomach.

Taiyo: "Find something to eat."

BlackWarGreymon lands, touching down outside the gates of Overdell.

Bakemon emerge from their graves and crypts with Phantomon as BlackWarGreymon approaches. It indiscriminantly begins slaying the Bakemon, letting their data scatter to the wind.

Phantomon narrows its eyes and brandishes its scythe, spinning the chain with its other hand.

It releases the chain, the weighted end wrapping around one of BlackWarGreymon's Dramon Killers.

In the mansion, a Bakemon bursts into the ball room, interupting Myotismon's dance with Witchmon.

Myotismon: "What is it?"

Bakemon: "My...my Lord, the BlackWarGreymon is here."

Myotismon: "Very well. Go to the basement. We are the descandants of AncientSphinxmon. And unlike it, we will not fall as cowards, pleading for our lives."

The Bakemon bows and leaves.

Myotismon destroys a window with its Bloody Stream before turning to Witchmon. 

Myotismon: "Farewell, my love. Perhaps one day we shall be reunited." 

Fighting back tears, Witchmon summons her broom and takes flight, fleeing out the window.

Witchmon: "Farewell, my love."

Myotismon watches Witchmon flee until she's no longer visible then turns to face the passive Devidramon.

E"No, but that is a good idea."

Eve:<We can try and take it down.>

Azuma: "Guess we plot our next move and probably comtinue living off of seaweed."

Kyubimon steps further out on to the beach, looking from left to right. It's not as big as the previous one and there are no phonebooths, so it's pretty normal. Further down is what could be a palm tree.

Myotismon: "Devidramon, show me your fangs!"

The beasts obey, bearing their fangs, hissing and growling.

Myotismon: "Show me the fearocity that attracts the rulers of the night to you! Break free of your confines and take flight. Attack the beast who dares defiles yours and your master's home!"

The Devidramon's hissing and growling grow more fierce, their chains rattling.

Myotismon: "Zurr En Arrh." 

The Devidramon hiss and roar, taking flight, breaking the chains that hold them down. They circle the room before flying out the ballroom doors and out into the mansion.

Myotismon: "Fly my pretties! ...I will show that beast true terror."

BlackWarGreymon absorbs the data of the fallen Phantomon, its advancement of the mansion halted with the roaring and hissing of the Devidramon that erupt from the mansions door and windows.

*Cameron heads down to see if anything edible is growing on the Palm tree*

A"Seaweed is delicious & nutritious."

E"At this point, food is food."

There are coconuts. Big ones. The cave your skull in and kill you if they fall on you size.

Taiyo: "How's your uh...lower half doing?"

BlackWarGreymon enters the mansion, the floor of the main hall opening with a mechanical squeel followed by more machinery then a bestial growl

Via elevator, a SkullGreymon is brought to BlackWarGreymon who looks the hulking monster up and down evaluating what could be its first worthwhile opponent since Murmukusmon.

The monsters roar echoes throughout the mansion as it exhales a jet of black flames.

"I've got that annoying tingling in my legs."

*Cameron runs out of the way, while Biyomon digivolves and flies up to land on the Palm tree. He starts shaking it*

Lunamon:<I'll try and find more crabs!>

*She starts looking around for some*

A couple coconuts fall with a loud thud. Had Cameron been in the way his head would look like a split open watermelon.

Taiyo: "Oh. Kyubimon, can you let us down?

Kyubimon nods and lowers herself to the ground. Taiyo reluctantly.removes her hands from Euryale's shirt to help her down to the ground.

Lunamon sees a Crabmon which shoots her a dirty look.

E"Thanks, Taiyo. I think I'll just sit down for a minute."

*Once she's on the ground, her legs shake until she eases into a sitting position. Aroma heads off to look for seaweed.*

R"Do you think we'll need to fish again?"
