Episode Three: Beneath the Deep

Eve:<I know it's just...I feel weird for just sitting around here.>

Azuma: "Do you believe Dianamon will be permanently sealed away?"

Sorcerymon: "No. It could be for some time due to my abilities being nowhere near the level of the one who erected the seal, but I must try. The Lunamon amongst you might help too."

Salamon: "Are you serious? Where did you get that idea?"

Sorcerymon: "One day my master will die and a new Dianamon will take its place. I suspect the Lunamon amongst you may one day be my master."

Azuma: "That's a scary thought."

Sorcerymon: "Have faith in your comrades. It is only by working together that you can accomplish anything."

Sorcerymon looks to the canopy, the forest growing darker with the falling sun.

Sorcerymon: "If that is all, I mu-"

Azuma: "One last thing. What can you tell us about the Marine Devil?"

Sorcerymon: "MarineDevimon controls the ocean between the Continent of Server and File Island. In its domain, its speed is nearly unmatched, but its physical defenses are weak."

Azuma: "All right. I guess this is farewell then. Thanks for the information."

And so they depart, Sorcerymon heading in the direction of Toy Town while the others return to Coela Point.

R"Well, what can you do?"

*Eve shrugs*

<That's the problem. I'm not sure.>

The four return.

Azuma: "A lot happened here."

*Lunamon helps bury Dorumon*

Kylie:<How was your walk?>

R"I can't even tell if that was sarcasm."

Azuma: "Me neither. Anywho, it was enjoyable in a way. Met that Sorcerymon of yours and learned some things about the early years of the Digital World, Lunamon might have a bright future ahead of her, and a little bit about that beasty in the ocean."

*Lunamon perks her ears up*

<Like what?>

Eve:<What did you find out about the Marine Devil?>

R"Oh God the tumors move!"

Azuma: "You may one day live in the..."

Patamon: "Ice Sanctuary."

Azuma: "With Sorcerymon as your servant as some great hero or something. As for the Marine Devil, MarineDevimon, apparently it's pretty fast in the sea, but can't take a punch."

*Lunamon jumps up and down*

<Yay, that sounds like fun!>

Eve:<So we just have to hit him a few times...Hm...>

R"Don't we only have like 1 Digimon that can fight in the water?"

Salamon: "Who only went in that form once against a Champion-level."

Azuma: "There's also the part where it's fast like lightning in the water. Unless someone wants to try and haul it up to shore."

At this point, the sun is almost at the horizon.

*Biyomon heads over to the group*

<I could fly high enough it'd be hard for the Marine Devil to attack us.>

R"Can we just ignore it? Fly right over it?"

Azuma: "Who knows? Although it doesn't solve the evil sea creature problem."

Biyomon:<How doesn't it?>

R"I don't even know what the problem is. What does it do that makes it evil?"

Azuma: "If it weren't would you have been attacked by those ocean dwelling Digimon?"

Lunamon:<They could have just been evil assholes.>

R"Could've been attacked for various reasons."

Azuma: "We know of some beasty that's lurking in the ocean and you were attacked by other things that came from the ocean. I'd say they're connected in some way."

The sun is now on the horizon and getting lower.

Azuma: "Anywho, we should probably get that fire going back up if we're staying the night here. Try crossing in the morning."

R"That's roughly what I said, & you're not giving me any reason that we should bother with attacking them."

Lunamon:<You don't have any proof though.>
