Episode Three: Beneath the Deep

*Lunamon looks shocked, and Cameron laughs*

E"It can't be that short."

R"Those were 3 examples. Quit being stupid."

*He looks to Renamon.*

R"The Knights of Gibberish, the Ten Nonsense, the Whateverthefucks, & the Name that Means Nothing. That's what we just heard."

Taiyo: "If I stretch it goes to about here."

She puts a hand in the middle of her chest.

Taiyo: "Otherwise it goes to here."

She moves her hand right under her breasts.

Taiyo: "It's more of a jammy top than an actual shirt."

Renamon: "That is what YOU heard."

Patamon: "I heard her pretty fine."

Eve:<He means we have no idea who you're talking about.>

*Biyomon heads over to Lalamon*

<Can I join you?>

E"That is quite the measurement error. Couldn't you just add on to it?"

R"Right. Do you know who Gandhi is? Actually, neither do I. Didn't he...start Buddhism, or something?"

<Um...sure.>

*Lalamon has made 4 towers almost as tall as she is, & is working on a wall to connect them all.*

Taiyo: "Maybe. It might looks a little funny though. It was just something I threw together with spare material."

Renamon: "Those names have no meaning to me."

Azuma: "Seriously?"

Hitomi looks insulted.

*Eve sighs*

<Gandhi was the one who lead India to independence peacefully.>

*Biyomon starts to help with said wall*

R"So that was, what, like a thousand years ago?"

E"I see."

A"...Do we have any kind of plan?"

Taiyo: "I don't think so."

Azuma: "Not in the slightest. You know what, this is painful to be apart of. I'll go traverse the dark woods."

And so he and Patamon bugger off.

R"Wasn't he JUST making a big deal about not going off on our own?"

E"We're probably just going to end up flying across the ocean. It's the only logical way."

Eve:<It was less than a hundred years ago, Roatha.>

Terriermon:<We all know he's a hypocrite.>

Taiyo: "Not everyone can fly. And only one Digimon can swim."

And so Hitomi and Salamon bugger off to the woods.

The woods are peaceful in a creepy sort of way, the sun getting lower makes them darker and creepier.

Azuma: "Didn't want to partake in the...history lesson?"

Hitomi shakes her head.

*Meanwhile, Lalamon starts carving a channel around the castle.*

"There have to be enough to carry those that need it. It's probably not wise to enter the water, but I guess it could be okay if there are lookouts in the sky."

R"So, now what?"

*Kylie and Lunamon head over to help build the sand castle, followed by Cameron*

*Eve stares across the ocean*

<I don't know. We can't really make a plan without everyone else.>

Taiyo counts out four fingers.

Taiyo: "I don't think there's enough to get everyone across in one trip."

Both beach groups notice the sun getting lower in the sky.

Salamon: "What was the point of coming here?"

Azuma: "Nowhere to really go on the beach and perhaps we'll meet Sorcerymon."

Speaking of, Sorcerymon emerges from the woods. Azuma looks at his D-Terminal when it goes off.

Sorcerymon: "You two have come to seek answers?"

Azuma: "Whatever you can provide."

E"Then I guess we'll just have to make multiple trips."

R"Looks like we're probably camping out here."

*Eve groans*

<Of course we are. We might as well camp in the forest, where there's some cover.>

Taiyo: "I guess..."

Sorcerymon: "What is it you'd like to know?"

Azuma: "I guess first, what does the Ice bit mean by your attributes on your entry here?"

Sorcerymon: "Like type and attribute, most Digimon have an element associated with them. It's left over from ancient times when the Digital World was first being populated by methods other than outside data accumulating in the world and taking form. At first it was the Warrior Ten who created Digimon that corresponded with their element then that power was given to the Celestials. For some time now the only new Digimon that come into existance are those whose data accumulates in this world. I descended from AncientMegatheriumon, your Patamon from AncientIrismon, and her Salamon from AncientGarurumon."

Azuma: "Who are the Warrior Ten and Celestials? A Renamon that's with us mentioned them, but didn't exactly go into detail about them."

Sorcerymon: "Again during ancient times when the Digital World was first created and Digimon began appearing in the world the first to appear were the Sovereings. They each took control of a section of the Digital World and from there began to mold it and bring life to it. They created their servants, the Warrior Ten and Celestials to aid them and protect the world.

A terrifying creature known as Ogudomon appeared and rampaged throughout the blossoming Digital World threatening to destroy it. The ten warriors were tasked to defeat it, but so long as malice exists in ones heart, the beast can never be destroyed, so their only choice was to seal it away. From there they went their seperate ways, using the power bestowed upon them to bring life to the Digital World.

When the Digital World started to become overpopulated, the Sovereigns introduced the concepts of natural death as until then death was only apart of the battle for survival. AncientSphinxmon was tasked with passing judgment on the data of those who died allowing them to return to the Village of the Beginnings to be reborn or condemend to the Dark Area."

Azuma: "There was no in between?"

Sorcerymon: "AncientSphinxmon was the one to discover that. Before a fallen Digimon's data is judged, it remains in a limbo of sorts. AncientSphinxmon used this knowledge to its advantage to extort information from those who sat in positions of power in exchange for sending the data to the Village. The Sovereigns looked down on this and Zhuqiaomon brought it upon itself to destroy AncientSphinxmon.

Anubimon was created to take AncientSphinxmon's place and the power of creation was given to the Celestials.

Cherubimon was given the power to bring forth Digimon of the Darkness, Steel, Water, Earth, and Wood elements. Seraphimon was given the power to bring forth Digimon of the Wind and Light elements. And lastly Ophanimon was given the power to bring forth Digimon of the Fire, Ice, and Thunder elements.

With that the Soverigns sealed their servants away until a time came that they saw fit for their return and left the Digital World to protect it from exterior threats."

Patamon and Salamon both look at Sorcerymon during its talk of the Celestials with a confused feeling of familiarity. While they had only heard of the Celestials in passing long ago it was never anything in such detail. They also felt as if they may have known this story. Or at least parts of it.

R"I don't know if it'll be necessary. Or safer. Or less dirty."

*Once she's made a moat, Salamon starts carving little flower details into the castle.*

<We could have gone on today, if everyone hadn't messed around for too long.>

With not much else to say, Taiyo cuddles up to Euryale, a hand sneaking its way up to her stomach.

Azuma: "Sounds like those were some harsh times. I take it a Digimon's element has nothing to do with its environment. Yours is Ice, yet you're in this creepy forest. There was a Wendigomon here and it was Wind."

Sorcerymon: "Not all the time. I hail from a northern part of the island, but with the way it's been altered I found Coela Point to be outside the forest. Although even if I do return to Freezeland, the sanctuary I call home is sealed shut with my master inside."

Azuma: "Anything we can do about that?"

Sorcerymon shakes its head.

Sorcerymon: "Like I told the others it is beyond their abilities. The only one capable of undoing it disappeared long ago."

Salamon: "What kind of master do you serve that you live in the Ice Sanctuary?"

Sorcerymon: "Dianamon, one of the Olympians."

R"We could, but what's the point of trying to rush across the ocean?"

<So we can continue with our quest to defeat Millenniummon.>

In short while, Taiyo begins purring as she falls asleep.

Azuma: "Olympians?"

Sorcerymon: "Yes. The Olympians were the Digital Worlds second line of defense in the event the Royal Knights had fallen. Although when that time came, it was too late for them to do anything as they'd been sealed away. That is why you were summoned to this world."

Azuma: "So calling in humans isn't a regular thing?"

Sorcerymon: "No. It is only when our own defenses have fallen that ENIAC summons protectors from the Material World."

Azuma asks about ENIAC and Sorcerymon repeats what it had said to the others when it had asked.

*Guilmon had started digging into the sand. Dorumon proceeded to bury him while he wasn't paying attention.*
