Old Ones Return (IV)

Cameron:<Do you know how we could remove the parasite?>

Taiyo: "We were attacked by MarineDevimon who placed the thing on her."

AW<If it resurfaces, it can be killed. As well, certain healing abilities can purge them.>

T"We do have at least 2 Digimon who can heal."

Biyomon:<We just have to rescue her!>

*He looks excited*

Cameron:<We should have been there...>

Azuma: "We have to locate her first."

E"There's a good chance she's there. The question is how we're going to sneak in."

*As no one answers her, Thiera reluctantly swipes the Blue Card.*

Azuma: "I'm certain very few of us would be capable of it and sending those who are might not be a good idea in the event things get hairy."

Cameron:<For once I agree with Azuma.>

E"We don't have any other options. We can't wait for them to bring her to us, & we can't push ahead with the attack plan until we've rescued her."

Biyomon:<Yeah, it's just thinking of a way to sneak it...having part of the group as a distraction would be too obvious and dangerous...>

Azuma: "So how do you propose we do this?"

E"First we need a good view of the base."

*Seraphimon snaps his fingers & the pool glows again, zooming in on a bunch of tents in the desert. There are also some other areas, like a shooting range & some tables. There are easily less than 50 soldiers walking around.*

E"Alright, that's perfect!"

T"We could definitely sneak in with some smaller Digimon, but the problem is getting there without being spotted. I don't think we have anyone who can dig, flying would likely get us spotted, & if we're relying on Wizardmon's magic, we'll need an even smaller group."

Cameron:<I'm definitely going. What are the outer defences like?>

Azuma: "So one group goes in while another hangs back in case things go wrong?"

E"Yeah, something like that. And it's a bunch of tents. They don't have outer defenses."

Azuma: "What do the other bases look like?"

Cameron:<There's six of us, and I'm going and so is Wizardmon I assume...>

*He shrugs*

E"...That's not important right now. And no, I want the Digimon who can progress to Champion & Ultimate with the smallest sizes to come with me."

Azuma: "Greymon isn't exactly concealable either, you know. Gatomon, Renamon, and I guess Wizardmon seem like our best bets."

Cameron:<There is no way I'm not coming. Biyomon's ultimate is small enough.>

E"I guess that's true. Agu isn't coming with me. So how about you take Taiyo's & Renamon's place?"

Cameron:<Of course.>

Azuma plants his face in his palm.

Azuma: "You're a liability. We get that it's really personal for you, but are you sure you're in the right state of mind to take part in this kind of operation?"

E"I don't think it'll be that big of an issue. We're a small group, & all of this is personal for us. We can't afford to be overcautious all of the time."

*Cameron and Biyomon glare at Azuma*

Cameron:<Yes, I think I am in the right mind to do this.>
