Old Ones Return (IV)

Renamon relinquishes the fruit basket.

Taiyo: "I'm fine."

So they head out to the park.

"Thanks, these look great. Renamon, you don't want anything, either?"

*Once again, Thiera & Wizardmon can be found on a bench.*

*They head over*

Kylie:<Good afternoon!>

*Cameron looks rather anxious*

Renamon: "I'm okay, thank you."

And the others arrive, Hitomi carrying Salamon, Patamon on Azuma's shoulder.

"Alright. Well, I'm going to put these in the kitchen. You can come with me, or you can make yourselves at home in the living room, or up in my room--it's up the stairs, last door on the right."

"Evening, actually. And what's wrong?"

Taiyo: "Okay."

And the two part ways. Renamon goes to the living room, although she just kind of stands out of the way while Taiyo goes upstairs.

Azuma: "We could probably ask you the same thing."

*Cameron shrugs and stares at the ground*

<Hm?>

*Euryale looks to & fro.*

"Uh, alright. Be right back."

*And so she heads out into the kitchen. Soon after Taiyo enters Euryale's bedroom, her father descends the stairs. Koromon is sleeping on one of the couches, resting against a cushion.*

*Euryale's room, unsurprisingly, is furnished red--red carpeting, red bedspread, & red curtains. There are windows on 2 sides of the room, with the bed between them, & end tables below them. On the other side is a cabinet & mirror. On the last wall, there's a billboard of sorts that has a poster of Lillymon, & a map of the city tacked onto it.*

"I suppose. I was just thinking, it seems like there's not any Wild Ones Bio-Emerging lately."

Taiyo looks about and sits down on the bed.

Azuma: "That is pretty odd. You'd think with what's going on in the Digital World, there'd be more."

Lunamon:<Maybe there aren't many digimon left to bioemerge...>

T"Either way, it's been a real concern for me. I was thinking that maybe we should use the Space Oscillation Devices to try to look into the Digital World, and see what's going on."

*He walks by Renamon without knowing anything. Then he looks back & jumps, as there's a 4 foot tall fox monster in his living room.*

<Shit!>

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I invited Renamon over!"

<Why didn't you say something, girl? Are you trying to give me a heart attack!?>

*Euryale emerges from the kitchen.*

"Could be. Am I on the life insurance policy?"

*Cameron shrugs*

<I think we should as well.>

Renamon looks back and forth between the two, confused.

Azuma: "Couldn't hurt too much."

*Euryale looks to Renamon.*

"Don't worry about it. Feel free to have a seat."

*Euryale makes her way up the stairs.*

<So...you want something to drink?>

"I already asked her that, Dad!"

<Well, excuse me for trying to be polite!>

*Meanwhile, Taiyo hears assholes yelling throughout the house.*

"Alright, well...first we'll need to find a place big & empty enough to open the portal, but secluded enough that no one will see the lights from it."

So Renamon has a seat on the sofa.

Taiyo cringes at the yelling.

She did say that's how her and her dad talk.

Azuma: "Shouldn't be too hard to find here."

Kylie:<A secluded area in the park.>

T"I guess we could use Wizardmon's magic to help hide it, if we had to."

D<Why are we always trying to make me do more work?>

*Euryale enters a moment later.*

"Sorry about that. Had to argue with Dad about Renamon. Apparently I forgot to mention that she was coming, so he just walked down the stairs to find a fox-woman staring at him. If that started him, I can't wait until he sees Metal Greymon."

<So...you like stir fry?>

Lunamon:<Because you're so strong and awesome!>

Renamon: "I've never had it."

Taiyo smiles a bit.

Taiyo: "My parents were pretty freaked out at first too."

Azuma: "And no one else is magic."

<It's not like I can just get whatever I want without a price. But I AM pretty awesome, aren't I?>

"Believe me, Wizardmon, I know it's hard for you. I wouldn't ask if I didn't think it was important."

<Oh. Well then.>

*He scratches the back of his head.*

*Euryale sighs.*

"That's good. I was worried he might have offended her."

*She folds her arms.*

"I really need to learn to stop being so impulsive. I can't believe I didn't once think to tell them that I invited another guest."

Lunamon:<Yes, yes you are!>

And so an awkward silence in the living room ensues.

Taiyo: "I hope it's not a problem."

Azuma: "So...are we heading out?"

"Out where? Do you have any more specific directions?"

*She unfolds her arms.*

"No, it's fine. I just hope she likes what we're having. We're having stir fry done with oranges, with a choice between chicken, beef, or fish. Got both brown & white rice. Also picked up some different sauces to put on it."

*Koromon wakes up, takes 1 look at Renamon, & hops off of the couch. He kind of pulls himself along by his ears, towards the staircase.*
