And so Taiyo follows Euryale and Ceto.

OOC: No sisters in this continuity?

Azuma: "You said divine intervention was the only thing that could undo the damage done, right?"

OOC: Nope. Still not sure what the father's name will be. Kind of thinking that "Lana" would have been better.

T"I doubt that. The Digital World is a big place, it'd be hard to find them all."

D<Yes, but I'm pretty sure you'd need more than just one angel-type who thinks he's important when he's really a glorified house pet for an annoying kid.>

T"Wizardmon, have you ever actually heard of tact?"

*They arrive in the kitchen. Mr. Rakshashi explains the system again while he's pouring Renamon OJ.*

Lunamon:<Wizardmon doesn't need tact.>

*Kylie slowly stands up*

<Then we have to protect the remaining.>

Renamon thanks Mr. Rakshashi for the drink while Taiyo looks at the food that is presumably on the table or somewhere.

Taiyo: "This looks great."

D<Okay, let's just go down there & get our asses kicked.>

Taiyo: "Yes, please."

Azuma opens his mouth to speak, but decides against it.

Lunamon:<Kylie, we can't do anything right now.>

*Kylie nods and wipes some tears from her eyes*

*And so they all get drinks & sit down to eat. As Euryale is doing her thing, Agumon comes out, pulls himself onto a chair, & takes some food with his claws, which he licks clean.*

Ceto<Since Agumon is a dinosaur without working hands, we thought it would be too difficult for him to eat at the table. But he usually doesn't stay. To what do we owe this honor?>

A<Euryale asked me to. Not sure why, I've already met these 2.>

T"We should get an update on some of the areas we've visited."

D<Sure. Let's start with the Nightmare Forest.>

*The scene shifts to a night view of a castle, which has been heavily fortified with anti-aircraft guns. Several of the trees have been cleared to create an ambush maze that is only visible from above. It's difficult to scout, though, because it's mostly covered by fog.*

Lunamon:<Good thing we didn't fall into that trap.>

The just kind of do their own thing, the conversation being kind of awkward.

Azuma: "Especially after last time..."

*Euryale stops doing what she's doing.*

"I asked you to stick around so that the whole family could interact with Taiyo & Renamon. By your logic, should I be somewhere else, since I already know everyone at this table?"

D<I don't see any Digimon. They must have purged the area.>

T"...Is there anywhere else that we can check?"

Renamon remains silent while Taiyo looks uncomfortable.

Azuma: "The village in the jungle?"

Kylie:<What about the mountains where we sent those digimon?>

*Agumon shrugs. Euryale's parents look at each other.*

Ceto<Taiyo, are...hm....>

Mr.<How did you & Renamon meet?>

*The scene changes to a mountainside that has a bunch of rubble blasted out of it.*

Kylie:<No! They couldn't have...>

*More tears are wiped*

Taiyo: "She came out of my computer as a little fox."

Azuma: "And the village we first encountered them? Is it any different?"

*The scene shifts to the desert. The burned-out husk of buildings look basically the same, just with more sand over the wreckage. An Airdramon passes by. As a shimmering light appears before it & starts emitting fog, it is pursued by Birdramon with red eyes & red globs sticking out of their bodies. When it becomes clear that they won't catch it, flecks of data emerge from the environment, grouping together into a trio of large light orbs joined together. This collides with the Airdramon, disappearing in a crackle of lightning. The Airdramon convulses, covered with crackling electrical energy, & then dissolves into data, which the infected Birdramon absorb. The white light & fog vanish.*

*Kylie cries at the scene, and Lunamon hugs her leg*

Taiyo: "Then she became Renamon."

Azuma: "I think we've seen enough."

Ceto<Like...just like that, or...?>

*The gate closes & Wizardmon drops to a sit, panting.*

T"Sorry about that, Wizardmon."

*Lunamon goes over to Wizardmon and grins*

Taiyo: "Not entirely. I'm not why it happened. I figured it was like taking care of any other living...critter. Do a good enough job and it'll grow up big and strong."
