E"Just try to remember what happened last time you did whatever it was you were doing."

*DemiDevimon flies by, landing on Thiera's shoulder.*

A<So, what, we just yell through it?>

T"That depends on where, specifically, it opened up, I suppose. And the only way to figure that out is to fly up there & check."

Ts"That's creepy. You're creepy."

Azuma: "Right..."

Never going to live that down.

*Lyra crosses her arms*

Karatenmon:<I'll go check.>

*That he does*

Ts"Whatever."

*She picks up Gomamon & heads to the exit.*

*Karatenmon sees a gigantic set of amber eyes, then hears a loud scream as images rapidly shift by the portal, going too fast to discern. It then just shows darkness.*

Yamaki<What is it? What's wrong?!>

*The image in the portal shifts around before zooming in on Yamaki's face. When Karatenmon can see his reflection in Yamaki's eyes, it suddenly pulls back.*

Yamaki<Gah! A Wild One, trying to come through our equipment? Tally, quarintine your station! Someone, destroy this visor before it passes through!>

Cameron:<Mr. Yamaki! It's Cameron!>

*Karatenmon flies down to those on the ground can hear him*

<Hurry! It's going to close!>

*Lyra grabs Kotemon, then walks over to Hideki*

<You alive?>

They Digivolve, but the portal is too small to mean much. Especially if it involves passing through someone's face.

Hideki stares at her for a second before removing an earbud.

Hideki: "Pardon?"

*Euryale has no idea what any of these twits are doing, so she just climbs on MetalGreymon's back & goes up to take a look.*

Yamaki<What happened? Professor Kurata told us that you were dead!>

E"Yeah, not for his lack of trying."

Yamaki<What?>

E"Kurata has been behind this the entire time. He sent us away to...like another Digital World, to get rid of us. You see--"

Kurata<You wouldn't happen to be...speaking with unauthorized anomalies, would you, Yamaki?>

*The portal abruptly disappears in a blink. Euryale pounds on MetalGreymon's metal head once.*

E"Shit! Guys, I'm not sure what's going on, but I think Kurata's going to do something to Yamaki, Riley, & Tally!"

Karatenmon:<Damn it! We can't just leave them.>

*Lyra leans against a wall*

<We're free to go.>

Azuma: "We also can't just waltz into our world."

Hideki: "Oh, okay."

And so Hideki heads for the exit.

T"Well...if the portal was destroyed on that side, then it might open elsewhere now."

E"It's worth a try."

A<Giga Blaster!>

*This one opens into darkness, small orbs of twisted data shifting through it.*

Datamon<I can reformat those data clusters to send your message. What is it that you wish to say?>

Cameron:<We're alright and Kurata is evil?>

Azuma: "Should probably explain the whole other world thing."

At some point Monodramon comes about while Hideki is walking.

Monodramon: "Took long enough."

Hideki: "Nothing else could be done. You stayed out of sight, correct?"

Monodramon: "Nothing else to do."

Data<How are they going to know who you are? Whom do you want it rrraddressed to?>

E"Maybe one of the Leomons...or the Sovereign...or maybe Mr. Yamaki, though I don't know why he'd be in the Digital World...."

*Euryale folds her arms & furrows her brow in thought. Thiera squints up at the portal.*

T"There's...something in there...."

*Datamon rotates its head, seeing something pulsing in the darkness, very faintly illuminated by an aura of red data, then quickly spins it back around, its eyes glowing.*

Data<You are running out of time!>

*Seeing a Hypnos van approach, Tsune takes Gomamon & runs around to the back of the building.*

*Lyra and Kotemon follow*

Azuma: "Tell the Celestials we botched the job and are in another universe."

Monodramon quickly ducks down an alley and hides behind something while Hideki follows after him.

E"I don't think so. That doesn't look like Belphemon, & wherever it is, there's no lab equipment."

*Datamon touches a data cluster & it begins to glow. However, at that moment, a red light strikes him, punching a hole into his body. His data is funneled into the portal as it closes.*

E"Gods!"

T"W-what happened to him?"

A<What is going on in our world?>

*They all look to DemiDevimon.*

D<What? I barely new the guy.>

<Yeah...I don't think you should be opening any more portals for a while.>

A2<Hopefully, enough of the message got out, & your friends will find a way to save you.>

*Tsune runs through the short stretch of greenergy & to the street. She takes no heed of the very large man completely decked out in trench coat, fedora, & gloves as she passes him.*

Azuma: "We're likely going to have to find our own way home."

And so Hideki and Monodramon continue going down the alley.

*Lyra heads in the same direction as Tsune, staring at the creepy guy*

*The next day, Lyra catches a glimpse of the creepy guy walking along the road, looking up into her window.*

*Meanwhile, Hideki's house is surrounded by fog, one of many Digital Fields that have popped up across the city overnight. His electronics are all making the loudest, most annoying noises & bright lights that they can.*

*Euryale paces outside of a series of tents they'd set up on the planes as Thiera emerges from one.*

T"Shouldn't you be with Taiyo?"

E"I can't help it, I'm restless. It's just so frustrating that we can't get back to our own world while it's in such danger, & have nothing to do in this one."

T"Well, maybe we can head back into the city, & see if we can figure something else out. We couldn't have been gone for too long, Mr. Yamaki didn't look older when we'd opened the portal. And Hypnos was still in tact, so the situation can't be that bad."

E"In the human world. What about the Digimon?"

*Lyra opens the window and yells out it*

<Hey you! Who the hell are you?>

*Cameron exits his tent*

<I just hope they're still fighting back.>

Azuma lays in his tent staring up at the ceiling.

Azuma: "This is bunk. Our own world is likely a right mess and there's nothing we can do about it."

Hitomi: "We're doing what we can."

Hideki: "Let's go, Monodramon."

Monodramon nods and heads out the window while Hideki takes the front door.

*The first thing he notices is that it's really hot outside.*

T"Should we wake everyone up?"

E"I'm not sure."

Hideki grimaces and looks at his D-Power.

<Hey you, come back here!>

*Lyra shakes her fist at him, then grabs Kotemon and heads down to the front door*

*A dot signifying a wild Digimon blinks in & out of existence several times. It is in front of his immediate location.*

*By the time she gets outside, he's disappeared around a corner.*

*Euryale heads into the tent where Taiyo is presumably still sleeping.*

E"WAKE THE FUCK UP YOU LAZY-ASS BITCH!"

E"(Hey, are you awake yet?)"
