*Being paranoid & looking over her shoulder every minute or so, she eventually spots them & fires eye lasers at Angewomon.*

Andromon<Your partner...r-r-r-reacted to your...negative emotions. You lost sight of...anything but your...desire to kill Myotismon...so did Biyomon....>

Senthose<And it didn't even work.>

*The light of the purple & white flames in the canyon increases in intensity as a pillar of fire shoots up out of the ground, D-Reaper globs orbiting it in a double helix. From out of the inferno emerges the towering VenomMyotismon.*

E"Everyone, stay calm! If he could go Mega all this time, but refused, it must have a weakness! We just need to figure out what it is!"

Senthose<Good luck with that.>

*He raises a claw, blasting a tornado of purple fire over the whole group.*

The two dodge, Angewomon circling around to get in front of LadyDevimon while MagnaAngemon moves in close.

Taomon: "Behind me!"

They crowd around behind Toamon who conjures up a shield.

*Cameron dives behind the shield. Bergeron tries to move. Again*

*LadyDevimon turns her arm into a spike, holding it defensively & looking from one to the other. Meanwhile, Taomon's shield holds for only a few seconds before being destroyed. Euryale, of course, moves in front of Taiyo. When the dust clears, she falls face-forward, her armor dissolving into data, arms burned red, & bleeding from her old head wound. A smoking Greymon begins falling on top of her, but fortunately reverts to Agumon just before he crumples on top of her. Taomon also takes enough damage to be reverted back to Kyubimon. Velgemon is mostly unscathed, & is able to move just slightly, as though wading through quicksand. Being unable to move, Andromon is consumed in purple flame & dissolves into data, which Myotismon absorbs.*

Senthose<Won't be able to take too many more of those, will you?>

*Purple fire rotates around his claw again. Also, a helicopter can be heard approaching from behind.*

*Cameron turns around, looking for the source of the sound. Velgemon tries to get up*

Taiyo holds Euryale, panicing.

Taiyo: "Euryale, are you okay?"

Kyubimon growls and stands up, tail flaired she fires a salvo of fireballs at VenomMyotismon's hands.

Angewomon readies to counter while MagnaAngemon tries to use Holy Disinfectant again.

*As mentioned previously, it's a helicopter. It circles the scene, observing. I don't know what "readies to counter" means. Obviously, LadyDevimon is going to evade as long as she can fly freely. She turns, slashing at MagnaAngemon. Euryale does not answer, because she is unconscious, but Taiyo's D-Power yells at her.*

D-Power<Biomerge Digivolution.>

*And so the Light of Digivolution protects from VenomMyotismon's latest attack as Velgemon flops around. Its legs work reasonably well, but flying is probably too challenging.*

Taiyo and Renamon Biomerge to Sakuyamon and hover over the others, staff in hand, a sad expression on her mostly covered face.

Taiyo: Renamon, what's this feeling? It feels horrible.

Renamon: That is the pain and sorrow of all living things. Do you want their negative feelings to go away and becomes feelings of happiness?

Taiyo: Yes. Will you make it happen?

Renamon: As you wish, Taiyo. We will make it happen.

Sakuyamon takes off towards VenonMyotismon, a quartet of spirit foxes surrounding them which take off to attack different parts of the monster.

Angewomon pulls LadyDevimon back by yanking on her hair while MagnaAngemon shields himself and resumes with disinfection.

Hideki looks like he has no idea what just happened or how he ended up where he is now.

Cameron:<Mega level...>

*Velgemon watches the battle*

*The "disinfectant" hits home. LadyDevimon bitchslaps Angewomon anyway, her hand returning to normal.*

D<Let go!>

*VenomMyotismon growls & shoots those weird rainbow eye lasers at Sakuyamon.*

Sakuyamon creates a shield of cherry blossoms around herself then redirects towards VenomMyotismon as a purifying wind.

The two archangels follow.

*Velgemon tries to use Zone Deleter on VemonMyotismon*

*VenomMyotismon hisses at being hit with a bunch of crap & sweeps a flaming claw at them.*

Senthose<Use it now!>

*Lekismon leaps out of the helicopter, carrying Kylie in her arms. After setting her down, the rabbit Digivolves to Crescemon. The helicopter then continues circling the area.*

*He approaches slowly. Velgemon uses Zone Deleter on VenomMyotismon*

Sakuyamon swings at VenomMyotismon's claw with her staff.

And so he does.

*Crescemon readies an ice arrow, taking aim at Cameron. Sakuyamon & VenomMyotismon's claw are both deflected. He reaches out to Velgemon, now with full range of motion restored, with his other. He has slight scars--though, due to his size, they are much bigger than the other Digimon--on his right claw & leg, but he ignores them.*

<You're growing weaker. Your partner has neither the purity to biomerge nor the sin to sustain your dark powers. This is my chance to destroy you, once & for all. It's over.>

*After the Hypnos Agent leaves them, they find their homes quiet for some time. Nothing is Bio-Emerging.*

Sakuyamon delivers a lightning fast kick to VenomMyotismon's head.

*Cameron starts slowly walking back to the rest of the group*

*Velgemon soars into the air, shrieking*

*VenomMyotismon turns his claw to swat Sakuyamon out of the air, & fires eye lasers at Velgemon.*

D<OUT OF THE WAY, DUMBASS!>

*LadyDevimon swoops in front of Cameron, taking an arrow to the abdomen. She then hits Kylie right in the face with eye lasers, causing her to spin & flop on the ground all dramatic-like.*

D<Sorry, but this is for your own good!>

*She thrusts her claws out, sending waves of bats to attack Crescemon. Meanwhile, Euryale stirs. She tries to move, but just ends up falling back on her face. Agumon opens an eye.*

E"Euuwgh...what happened? Why can't I lift my arms?"

A<Hang on...I'll...help you....>

*And, some time later, both of their homes become surrounded by Hypnos vans & police cars, which all seem to have turned their sirens off.*

*Velgemon flies out of the way then responds with his own eye lasers*

Sakuyamon flies higher up to VenomMyotismon's face and engulfs it with fire.

The two archangels land, MagnaAngemon landing beside Euryale and sets to healing her.

Hideki: "Damn it."

E"Thank you. But LadyDevimon needs help, too."

*LadyDevimon keeps batting away arrows that explode behind her, trying to advance on Crescemon. When Crescemon jumps several meters aside, she turns & fires eye lasers at her, which are batted away. Meanwhile, purple tendrils begin emerging from the back of Kylie's neck.*

<YOU FOOLS! YOU'VE ONLY AWAKENED THE BEAST WITHIN!>

*The fur on his crotch moves aside & a demonic face pokes out.*

Beast Within<MYEH!>

*With a mighty roar, VenomMyotismon releases a blast of purple flames around himself.*

*Similarly, a Hypnos agent heads up to Hideki's door & knocks.*

*Lyra's mother look confused*

Angewomon circles around behind Ceresmon while MagnaAngemon goes for Kylie.

Sakuyamon backs off, conjuring up four fox spirits which charge VenomMyotismon.
