Cameron:<Ok, I guess that makes sense.>

Yamaki<Only over the past couple of days. Most of them were taken between yesterday & this morning.>

E"Alright, so if we act fast, we should be able to do this. But what about you? Do you have an escape route if Kurata finds you?"

Yamaki<Somewhat. We've moved much of our equipment to the van, & are going to start changing locations soon.>

E"Okay, well, good luck."

A<Ditto.>

T"What they said."

Riley<Likewise. We hope you find your families without too much trouble.>

IL<It will be easier with a distraction. How about you & I?>

Reg<You mean you want us to go out & beat up Hypnos agents in the streets? It must be my birthday...I hope you're not waiting for me to say, "No offense.">

Yamaki<Wouldn't dream of it.>

T"Remember, most of them probably don't know about Kurata's plan."

ML<Good point. We want the humans to think we AREN'T dangerous.>

Reg<Yeah, yeah, I'll behave.>

Kylie:<Stay safe!>

Azuma: "Good luck."

ML<We'll need to walk a ways so that we don't get anyone else caught up in the trip.>

IL<Right. About 50 feet should be sufficient. So we'll go east, you take the Digidestined & go west.>

Datamon<I will inform Lady Venusmon of recent developments.>

Yamaki<And I suppose we'll take advantage of this to change locations.>

*Yamaki presses a button & the hologram cuts out. The lions start walking in their respective directions.*

*They follow*

They presumably get going in their direction.

*When they reach a certain distance, MadLeomon exhales Digital fog.*

ML<...You can't see it, but we're now in the Hypnos parking deck.>

E"So what now? We can't take the elevator down. There will be people waiting when we get out at the bottom."

ML<Few options. Climb the cables. Use the Gate of Destiny. Teleport.>

T"We need to save her magic, remember?"

*DemiDevimon jumps off of her head & Digivolves to Wizardmon.*

Azuma: "And I don't know where that gate goes to."

Biyomon:<I could digivolve to ultimate and fly people down.>

ML<You should be able to control where the Gate opens. No matter. We fly, or climb.>

D<I can short out the elevator, if you're going to try prying it open.>

Azuma: "That is not something I would want to try in this situation."

*Biyomon digivolve stop Karatenmon*

*MadLeomon jams his claws in the door joint & pulls them open with little strain.*

T"There's no way that Karatenmon can carry us all."

ML<Some can ride on my back. Hold tight.>

*Karatenmon picks up Kylie, Cameron, and Thiera*

<I think you three are as much as I can handle.>

*Lunamon wiggles in Kylie's arms*

ML<I can only carry 4 or 5 of you.>

*Thiera does not look happy at being hefted like a sack of potatoes.*

Monodramon: "I will carry Hideki."

And so Monodramon Digivolves up to Cyberdramon.

Karatenmon:<Sorry Thiera.>

Lyra:<Uh, could we ride with you?>

*She looks at ML*

*MadLeomon nods.*

D<I can carry my own partner, you know.>

Ts"You keep complaining that you have to conserve your energy. So deal with it."

D<You deal with it!>

E"(Shh! Someone might hear us!) Anyway, one or both of the angels should probably carry people. Between the 6 of us & our partners, it would be too much of a strain for MadLeomon."

ML<Sensible.>

This leaves Taiyo and Renamon to be carried by the big undead cat. Possibly unpleasant.

Patamon Digivolves to Angemon while Salamon Digivolves up to Angewomon.

*When everyone is ready, Karatenmon flies down towards the ground, looking for a secluded stop to land*

*It's not so much "being carried" as hanging onto his back hair as he jumps onto the cable & begins shimmying down.*

Ts"Do we really need to go down that far?"

E"Good question. There's probably higher security farther down. We should probably only go down a few floors."

*So Wizardmon points at a door & fires a lightning bolt at it, then twirls her staff, gathering a slight breeze around them. Hanging onto the cable with his feet, MadLeomon stretches over & begins to pull the door open.*

Taiyo: "I didn't think I was afraid of heights until now."

*Karatenmon flies over to help*

*Wizardmon bops Karatenmon on the head with her staff, from her position of climbing down the wire above MadLeomon.*

D<What are you, crazy?! Don't let go of them!>

E"It'll be okay. Even if you did fall, you wouldn't go for more than a few feet before you Biomerged, I Biomerged, or Wizardmon used her magic to save you."
