Episode Nine: The Beast

*Asleep.*

*I guess Cameron and Kylie are on watch, while Eve is asleep*

The next day, the sun is shining there are no birds to be singing. Taiyo wakes up to the others presumably still asleep.

The two wake up, Tylomon being sent beneath the waters much to her dismay for breakfast.

*Eve wakes but as well*

<Good morning.>

*Still asleep. Apparently.*

Taiyo: "Good morning."

After breakfast, they set off on Nefertimon heading in the direction of where File Island used to be because damn are they thirsty.

Eve:<Morning.>

*Cameron, Kylie, and their partners begin to wake up*

*They wake up, I guess.*

Taiyo: "Are we leaving now or....?"

The flight gets a little less bearable as icebergs begin to appear in the water every now and again and the air gets colder.

Patamon: "Where are you taking us?"

Nefertimon: "We're probably in what's left of Freezeland."

Cameron:<Is there anything left to eat first?>

A"Good question."

Seaweed most likely. Maybe coconut if it's still edible after sitting out for several hours.

They fly over a glacier, a primarily purple figure standing out amongst someone in mostly red. They descend to find Wizardmon, Witchmon, and Sorcerymon who blends in among the snow and ice.

Witchmon: "Neither of these two look like the Child of Kindness."

Wizardmon: "The Child of Kindness is likely not in the area where the signal is being broadcasted. Or she is and going out of her way to avoid it."

Sorcerymon: "Anyway, it is nice to see you two again. I trust you've changed since our last meeting. Metaphorically as you have literally."

Azuma: "Yeah. What is it you three are doing here?"

Sorcerymon points its staff towards a large ice structure that is apart of the glacier. It almost resembles a large castle carved from ice.

Sorcerymon: "We are here to free my master. But we need the Child of Kindness."

*Breakfast is eaten.*

*Yup, then Terriermon and Biyomon digivolve to Rapidmon and Saberdramon respectively*

Taiyo and Renamon presumably climb on to Saberdramon's leg. Kylie's D-Terminal vibrates as she recieves a message from Azuma.

Azuma sends Kylie a message.

Azuma: "Now to play the waiting game."

Wizardmon: "You're being quite helpful. I expected a string of sarcastic remarks and nothing in the way of assistance."

Azuma: "Yeah....I've been quite the bastard, haven't I?"

Wizardmon: "That is one way of putting it."

Nefertimon: "Why do you need Kylie for....whatever? Isn't there anyone else that can do it?"

Wizardmon: "And you're still as obtuse as always. Anyway, no. Only one that is fit to succeed Dianamon can aid us. And unless you are of the same lineage, you will be of no use. You have your own future to look forward to as the successor of Ophanimon."

Nefertimon: "Why would I want to do that?"

Witchmon: "It's not a matter of wanting to or not. It's a matter of serving the purpose you were created for."

Nefertimon: "So I have no say in how I live my life?"

Sorcerymon: "Not exactly. You and all of us were created to fulfill a role, but you are not bound by the path that is laid out for you. The three of us were created to work under Wisemon and one day be apart of ENIACs ranks. I chose to serve Dianamon, Witchmon chose to reside with Myotismon and aid it, while Wizardmon is the only one who serves ENIAC."

Kylie:<I just got a message from Azuma. Someone needs my help!>

Cameron:<Well, I guess we can all head that way.>

*No argument.*

Now to play the waiting game.

Witchmon: "Well?"

Azuma: "Dunno. We wait until they come."

Wizardmon: "If they come at all that is. There is no guarantee they'll come at all and we're wasting precious time while no one comes any closer to defeating the Dark Masters."

Azuma: "We will defeat them. We've made contact with one of MetalSeadramon's minions already. We're bound to encounter the boss at some point."

Wizardmon: "It's easy to be optimistic when ignorant of the situation."

*They head off that way, Kylie responding*

Got it, on my way!

*Euryale yawns.*

E"So...good morning."

Taiyo: "Good morning."

As they travel, Kylie's Digivice goes off a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] of the moon appearing on the map overlapping Azuma & Hitomi's signals.

*Kylie tilts her head, staring at the symbol*

I wonder if this has something to do with Lunamon.

E"Did you sleep well?"

Taiyo: "Well enough, I guess."

As they get closer to where the symbol is on the map, it gradually gets colder, the glacier and Ice Sanctuary getting closer into view.

WarGrowlmon begins feeling a little sick, but nothing so bad as to hinder his flight.

Lunamon:<This is nice!>
