Tylomon rises from the water, snapping her jaws at the Ancient Digimon, AncientMermaimon backhands her.
AncientMermaimon: "You dare raise your hand to me, child? The byproducts of the Digimental of Reliability all come from me and you have the audacity to strike at your mother?"
AncientMermaimon strikes Manbomon with its trident and turns to the others.
AncientMermaimon: "And the rest of you would dare try to do harm to me?"

| AncientMermaimon pushes the shield away, directing the blast towards the ocean and stabs Gallantmon in the chest. This has the added benefit of those other attacks catching Gallantmon in the blast.

The two Armor wash up ashore and Azuma & Hitomi swap their Digimentals about, Nefertimon and Pegasusmon taking flight.

| OOC: Oh, we're calling bullshit on this? Okay, I'm going to need a spoiler tag for this one. - Spoiler:
1. Blast radius only matters when it's screwing one of us over.
2. Gallantmon's method of attack is actually strategically viable while AncientMermaimon's is basically suicide.
3. Gallantmon & AM both use their weapons in their right hands. Forcing Gallantmon's shield to her right would do nothing, so therefore AM must be forcing it to the left. She would either have to reach across with her left hand, which is awkward & would open AM up to attack, or she would have to use her trident hand. This would leave her trident overexposed, again opening her to attack. A 3rd option is that she could switch hands before pushing the shield, but this would telegraph her attack, opening her up to a stab with Gallantmon's lance, or better yet, a shield bashing charge. In other words, there is no situation where AM should beat Gallantmon to the attack.

| OOC: Missiles tend to explode unless they're duds, so regardless of whether or not they hit there's still the whole explosion thing. The idea that no character is invincible is a pretty scary thought, isn't it?
