L"Just shut up & head to the elevator. Here, watch her for a sec."

*Lilith leans Thiera over on Euryale & heads for the stairwell.*

*Eve texts back*

We're coming down now.

*Eve heads to the elevator*

<Looks like they're coming? You two doing any better?>

They all file out in an orderly fashion.

"I want to go to Noct's dorm," Astarte spoke for the first time since they left her house.

*Lilith opens the stairwell door & breathes deep.*

L"SENTHOSE, GET DOWN HERE, WE'RE LEAVING, LAST CHANCE!"

*She then follows them to the elevator.*

Cameron:<Ok, let's meet up with everyone else first though.>

"Okay."
"Are they just coming here?" Eduj asked.

*Euryale pushes the button for the ground floor. They hear something running down the stairs, but the elevator closes & they start descending. Lilith stands in the corner with her arms crossed, Thiera sits limply in the other corner, & Euryale stands near the doors.*

E"...You didn't open the door."

L"We don't know if it was him."

*Outside, something jumps from one of the windows of the dorm building to a tree.*

Azuma: "Try calling him again?"

Cameron:<I think so.>

*Cameron points out the window*

<Something's coming.>

*He texts Eve*

I think there's something down here.

<Uh oh, Cameron thinks he sees something.>

Astarte re-assumed the fetal stance in her seat while Eduj peered out of the window, trying to see whatever it had been.

L"There's no point, he won't answer."

*The elevator dings open. At this point, the sun is beginning to rise, casting just enough light to reveal that there is no one in the lobby. Thiera gets up & shuffles out the door, Lilith following. Euryale leads Taiyo out.*

*They see only the others exiting the dorm building. A figure watches them from one of the top windows.*

They all file out of the elevator.

*Cameron pulls out of the parking spot and drives over to the curb where he parks and gets out of the car, waving at the others to get their attention*

L"Of course there is. Just ignore it. Yes, we see you! And there is no way we'll all fit in that car!"

E"Some of us will have to hail a taxi, or something. But where do we go? There's nowhere that we can hide from these things."

L"So we won't. In fact, we'll do the opposite. Let's retrace Roatha's steps. Nero, where might he have gone when we weren't around?"

N"How the fuck should I--wait, we went to a hotel for a night, soon after we got back from the forest. First one outside of campus."

L"Great, that'll make it easy for everyone to find."

N"Why? You think he might have left clues behind?"

L"Maybe."

N"I don't know, this isn't an episode of--"

L"Shut up!"

"How long are they going to take?" Eduj sounded a little exasperated. "We need to get away."
"But I wanted to go to Noct's dorm," Astarte said, tugging Eduj's sleeve. He grimaced.

Cameron:<I can fit 3 more in here.>

Eve:<It's the only lead we have, so we might as well look into it.>

Azuma: "It's better than sticking around here."

N"I'll go."

L"You 2 go with them."

E"We can't just leave you out--"

L"Nobody said anything about leaving. Obviously, we stay together until everyone has a ride."

*Eve gets out her phone and tries to find a number for the local taxi service*

Eduj lowered his window and looked out, "Make sure to be careful if you get a taxi. They can possess people."

Azuma: "We're in trouble regardless."

*The national Germany taxi hotline is 22456.*

T"It shouldn't be a problem. Ira said that he needs Roatha in order to use his full abilities."

*Her voice is hoarse & distant.*

E"How do we know he's telling the truth?"

T"Be--because, if he wasn't, he'd have people after us right now."
