Stefan took the hit and fell, then scrambled into the pews to hide.

Astarte followed.

*Cameron picks up Tirea, still holding his coat to her back*

<Euryale, can you call for an ambulance?>

Mimiru hauls Azuma up, who's clutching his side.

Azuma: "That'll complicate things."

*How Azuma continues to make nonchalant one-liners when he's bleeding profusely & losing his breath isn't very clear. They manage to get the injured to their feet, but they aren't supporting their weight very well at all. Euryale starts dialing.*

*They reach the biology building with little difficulty. As I've mentioned before, it's a white, boxlike building without many windows. Thiera holds the door open for everyone, & Lilith heads inside. The door leads directly into a 3-way hallway. They can't see anyone, but can hear people working in nearby offices.*

Stefan hid crouched behind a pew with the bayonet held close, whispering pleading prayer.

Astarte remained as ever, close by and quiet, but finally spoke up, "Do you think we should try to call the group at the church?"

Mimiru: "What are we even going to tell them?"

Cameron:<Should we get them outside or...?>

*Eve looks for a directory to find the right office*

L"No, I don't think so. Not yet."

*The closest she finds is a map on the wall. A balding old professor with a beret looks up.*

Eve:<Dr. Lara Schreiber's office please.>

Cameron:<(We went in on a dare and got attacked.)>

Stefan poised himself, believing himself in imminent danger.

"Why not?"

<It's on the 2nd floor down, Room B204. Do you need me to take you there?>

L"(Because. Listen to this guy.)"

"We're in the church in front of campus! 2 of us have been badly wounded, & we need help!"

<Can you explain what happened?>

*Eve shakes her head, smiling politely*

<Oh no thank you, I'm sure we can find it.>

*She heads back to the orhers*

*Cameron holds the weakly moaning Tirea*

Mimiru: "Are they sending someone?"

*Euryale covers the phone.*

E"I'm sure they will. They want us to tell them what's going on."

<Are you still there, Ma'am?>

L"This map says that the stairs are at the end of this hall & to the right. Elevators in the same place."

T"That reminds me, I've been wondering which would be safer. The elevators are less time moving between floors, but if the Shadow can short out the emergency systems, we'd be trapped with it."

Azuma: "I got shot."

"Stairs," Astarte said, more as a statement of fact than a suggestion.

Eve:<I agree, we should do stairs.>

L"I don't think it's really feasible, or any safer, to go up & down dozens of flights of stairs every day."

T"I can see that. But perhaps, in this case?"

E"We came in here & were attacked by the crazy priests. Someone was shot."

<The victims were shot?>

E"I don't know--there's a male & a female victim, & the male was shot!"

"The stairs," Astarte repeated, almost frowning.

Stefan crawled under the pews and dashed towards the vestry.

Mimiru: "Are they intentionally wasting time?"

Cameron:<The female was stabbed. Hurry!>

Eve:<It's not that far up.>

E"HEY! STOP!"

*Euryale starts running after Stefan.*

<Are you chasing after the perpetrators? Don't do that. Get away from them, & an ambulance will be there soon.>

L"...Down."

Stefan ran across the back room to burst out of the back door.

Eve:<Hm? Oh, of course.>

E"...Fine."

*Hearing sirens approach, she abruptly hangs up, turning back to the group.*

E"Shit! What are we going to do with all of these weapons?!"

*It doesn't take them long to get down the stairs. They stairs keep going, but they're now at the door to B2, so Lilith opens it & heads through. A few doors to the right, she finds B204 & squints at the narrow window on the door.*

L"That's odd. The light's on in here. I can't see anyone through the window, though."
