*Sure enough, he's pulled into the hospital parking lot.*

Driver<You sure you don't need anything else from us?>

"I'm sure. Thanks," Astarte got off the bus and walked to reception, sending a text to Eve as she walked.
I'm at the hospital, not hurt too much. Are the others ok?

Grimm sat down and flicked through the bible to see how much Roatha had defaced it.

Eve:<I think that should be a last resort. We could go to Switzerland or Austria without crossing through.>

Azuma gets up to leave the room.

L"But how long would that take?"

*Those cops from before are standing at either end of the hall, but otherwise, it's empty.*

*The receptionist looks up & does a double-take, but looks more surprised than anything else.*

<Oh my, what happened?>

Eve:<I don't know. Hold on...>

*Eve checks her phone, nearly dropping it after seeing who the text was from*

<I just got a message from Astarte...or from her phone anyway. It says she's at the hospital.>

*She looks at the professor*

<Could it be possible Astarte escaped?>

*Tirea gets up to follow him*

So they have an unspoken agreement to just walk out of the place.

"Fell in a ditch," Astarte said. "A big ditch. Not glamorous."

Grimm put the bible down and walked back out to the pews.

*He is in time to see Ira leaving the church.*

<If it's not an emergency, I'll page the doctor and he should be with you within 10 minutes.>

*And then Tirea & Azuma appeared wearing hospital gowns.*

Schreiber<Or it could be an ambush.>

L"At a public location, like a hospital?"

Schreiber<That's where he ambushed your other friends, was it not?>

Eve:<That's kind of what I was thinking. We could have another Stefan on our hands.>

*When Tirea sees Astarte, she waves, grinning in a pained way*

"Thank you," Astarte noticed Tirea and waved back to her, walking over towards her and checking her phone and sending '?' to Eve. "Hey."

L"We have to go back to the hospital anyway. We might even want to hurry there to make sure that Tirea & Azuma are okay."

S"I can attend to that, if you have something else you need to do."

L"Don't be ridiculous, you can't go alone."

S"I've been fine so far."

L"But we didn't plan on splitting up back then."

*Eve stands up, running a hand through her hair*

<Wonderful. Astarte deflected my question about how she got back.>

Tirea:<What are you doing here? We didn't expect you guys back here for a while.>

"Basically Roatha and the Shadow turned up and took me and Nero into the forest again," Astarte said, voice low as to not spook bystanders. "I don't know if Vanessa and Schreiber are okay, but I think they got away. Nero didn't make it."
Astarte looked back to her phone, Got teleported into the forest, Ira was yelling at the Shadow about the monster Schreiber shot and I ran away and that bus picked me up. Is everybody else ok?

*The receptionist looks at them like she thinks they're saying something crazy, but isn't sure. Eventually, the doctor emerges, startled by Tirea & Azuma.*

Doctor<Oh--you're up & about already. Sure you're feeling up to it?>

S"I can't exactly operate in the open anyway, so let's just go with my plan."

*Lilith sighs.*

L"Alright, let's go."

Dr. Schreiber<Vanessa & I can accompany Senthose.>

Azuma: "Nowhere else I'd rather be."

Yes. What about Nero?

*Eve follows*

<(But they said you were in the shower or something! Did the shadow come and taken you?!)>

"Doctor, could I have a moment to talk with them please?" Astarte asked after quickly sending a reply to Eve, Didn't make it. Dead when we got there.

Doctor<Well, it's a fairly slow day, so if you all feel like you don't need immediate medical attention, I suppose it's fine. I wouldn't recommend leaving the hospital without further check-ups, though.>

*He opens the door & takes a tentative step back towards his office.*

L"...Fine."

*She looks to Eve as Senthose, Vanessa, & Schreiber get up & start to leave.*

L"Any chance you might fill us in on whatever it is you're discussing?"

"Thank you," Astarte nodded to the doctor and spoke to Tirea and Azuma again in an even lower voice. "Roatha came to our room and said he wasn't controlled by Ira for a while, but when we took him to Schreiber to see if she could do anything... like purge him or something, he became 'Ira' again and then the Shadow showed up... it's really a blur."

Azuma: "Yeah, I'm not sticking around."

*Eve looks over at Lilith*

<We're discussing how she got back. Astarte says she got away when Ira was distracted, then got a ride to the hospetial from camp employees.>

*Eve checks the latest message*

<Oh god...Nero's dead.>

Oh god. We need to talk in person. Stay where you are.

*Tirea's eyes widen at Astarte's story, then she looks at Azuma*

<What are you talking about?>

*I'll just assume that Azuma waited for the doctor to leave before running his mouth off, not that it means much, with the receptionist still casting furtive glances at them when she thinks nobody is looking.*

*Thiera puts her hands up to her mouth, Lilith just kind of shakes her head, Schreiber squints, Vanessa looks confused, & Senthose seems unphased.*

S"There is nothing we can do about that now. All we can do is continue as planned."
