Episode Ten: Play Time

*Biyomon digivolves to Karatenmon, and Lunamon and Kylie biomerge. They and GRapidmon attempt to avoid getting hit while protecting their respective partners. GRapidmon returns fire with his homing missiles, Dianamon with an arrow, and Karatenmon with Feather Flare*

*Rosemon turns to shield Euryale & does her best to look for cover.*

E"If that's the case, then I'll see that Puppet destroyed for hurting all of you! Guilmon, Digivolve!"

G<But what if we can't Biomerge? Or what if I can't Digivolve at all?>

E"We'll mange! Take out your worry on that spineless chunk of wood!"

*So he attempts a Digivolution.*

*Next he lands by Roatha & tries to gently pull him up on his (Dorugamon's) back.*

Puppetmon shoots the missiles dead straight in the warhead. From all the abuse the house has taken the floor collapses and Puppetmon throws the spent pistol at whatever Guilmon has turned into.

Patamon & Salamon Digivolve, the archangels taking after the crazed marionette that runs through a different door, leaving those who can't fly kind of stranded.

*Good thing everyone can, and they follow*

*Same here. The pistol bounces right off of Gallantmon, who fully intends to blast Pinnochio with lightning the next time she sees him.*

*Assuming that Roatha is now on his back, Dorugamon takes flight, sniffing for the nearest ally.*

Sakuyamon flies Azuma & Hitomi over and goes through the door, Puppetmon went into.

They all meet in a hallway with multiple doors. At one end of the hall they see Puppetmon leaving a door on the left side of the hall and into one on the right.

There's a lot of scents in the air ranging from dust to blood. Also it's dark.

*As mentioned previously, Gallantmon blasts him with lightning the second he appears.*

D<Hey, can you tell me where the others are?>

*Roatha tries to dig out his Digivice.*

*As soon as he appeared, everyone fires on him*

Puppetmon somersaults through the door it was said to be going into.

They hear a door opening behind them which happens to be the one they came in. Puppetmon slams its hammer down, sending a wave of fire over the group.

MagnaAngemon & Angewomon instinctively shield their partners with themselves while Sakuyamon creates a shield around them.

*Gallantmon was going to use her shield, but when Sakuyamon already had it covered, she fired a bigass laser out of it instead.*

*Should Roatha have been successful, he explains where the closest signals are.*

*As Sakuyamon has it covered, everyone fires on him again*

*Since I forgot Rosemon, she places her hands on the ground, causing vines to snake across the ground & attempt to tie up Puppetmon & his hammer.*

The initial attacks blow Puppetmon back through the door it came from, it closing in the process.

Azuma goes to open the door and shuts it immediately when a damn train is coming towards them. For whatever reason it does not come barreling through the door.

From a door at the other end of the hall, Puppetmon's cross comes flying at them.

The others signals are all clustered together high above his.

*So they go there.*

*Gallantmon whirls & blasts it with lightning. Rosemon shoots thorns & lightning in that general direction.*

*Rapidmon sends his missiles, Dianamon an arrow, and Karatenmon a Feather Flare at that asshole*

That asshole isn't in the hallway, so I don't know what they're shooting at.

The cross falls and another door opens. Sakuyamon follows the cross as it gets pulled into another room only to back away when a jet of flames comes shooting out of the door way, the door closing.

A door opens behind Sakuyamon, a mass of threads grabbing hold of them.

Puppetmon: "Neener neener neener. You'll never win if you just stand around."

Sakuyamon moves with all the grace of an epileptic ragdoll, facing the group.

Sakuyamon: "Get out of the way!"

A series of fox spirits move down the hall towards the group.

That's easier said than done given they're in a dark room that could be a basement with no visible exit. Because it's dark.

*Gallantmon blocks with her shield.*

G<"Get around her to cut the wires, & then the thing holding them!">

R<"R--right!">

*So Rosemon lashes out with the whip from behind the shield, trying to grab Sakuyamon's arm on the armored portion.*

*Then he blows a hole through the fucking ceiling.*

*Everyone cowers behind Gallentmon. GRapidmon fires his homing missiles at Puppetmon*

Sakuyamon forcibly erects a shield to intercept the attacks and follows through with a swing of their staff, sending a wave of fire at Rosemon.

The door then closes leaving Sakuyamon tangled in wire.

Dust and other crap fall on them with no indication any real damage was done.

*Dianamon tries to use her scythe to cut through the wire*

OOC: If the fucking basement is impossible to leave in any fucking way, what the fuck do you want me to do? And why the fuck didn't the shield affect the wires? And while I'm at it, fuck this "Puppetmon evades all attacks through Looney Tunes antics" bullfuck. Fuck.

*Gallantmon stows her lance & shield on her back because I've decided she can do that, & rushes to Sakuyamon's side, trying to untangle her.*

G<"Are you okay?">

*Rosemon helps. Awkwardly.*

OOC: There's a staircase. It's just a matter of being able to see it. Or did you forget Roatha's backpack and its contents?

Sakuyamon: "Yeah."

A door opens and Puppetmon comes out behind the group untangling Sakuyamon, putting itself in a compromising position to pepper them with shots from its hammer.

The archangels rush Puppetmon from behind because as I said compromising position, MagnaAngemon with the Excalibur drawn and Angewomon....I don't know, gon' slap a bitch I guess.

OOC: No, & I don't have time to go looking for it either.

*Gallantmon. Shield. Rosemon. Sleeping roses under Puppetmon.*

*Rapidmon fires at him, followed by Karatenmon, while Dianamon continues cutting wires*

Splinters and wood shavings litter the floor as dissolve into data as Puppetmon makes a mad dash to a door that gets progressively slower and slower as the roses do their thing.

Puppetmon slams its hammer on the floor, a wave of fire burning away at the plants, but MagnaAngemon is already at the door.

Puppetmon: "I just wanted to play...."

MagnaAngemon summons Heaven's Gate, a wave of white energy turning the Puppetmon to ash and then data.

The house begins to shake, the walls and doors fading away.
