*Dianamon moves around the attacks coming towards her, then fires several ice and dark arrows at the bastard's head*

Angewomon pushes the rocks out from over them with a Heaven's Charm. Although it probably would have been safer to stay under them as apparently there are rocks falling from the sky.

Ryota<...And what is that?>

G<It's...well, a dark area, where it's always night & most of the dark Digimon live.>

Ryota<And what are Dark Digimon?!>

*Gomamon shrinks a little.*

G<Uh, well...it's hard to explain. Things like DemiDevimon.>

Ts"You know, demons, skeletons, that sort of thing."

Binah<Wait, are you implying that Thiera's Digimon is a demon?>

*Susanoomon moves his hand so that a fire whirl deflects the attacks & keeps heading for Dianamon. Lightning strikes the missile she just dodged, which explodes into an enormous fireball that WarGreymon has to deflect.*

<"We can't stay in the sky, it's too dangerous!">

*She begins to descend, & as she does, the 2 Digimons' Burst Auras begin to flicker. Angewomon emerges to find that her attack dispelled Hitomi's shield. For the time being, everything seems to be busy with Antylamon, who spins out of the way of the Raidramons' lightning & deflects Rhinomon attacks with her blades. However, this soon changes when a Halsemon spots the rubble flying everywhere. It screeches, leading its fellow winged Digimon down towards Angewomon, & from the other direction, a fire whirl bursts out of the ground & moves towards her.*

*Dianamon follows WarGreymon, doing her best to avoid the incoming attacks*

Lyra:<Right, ok.>

Angewomon grabs Hitomi and flies in the direction none of that shit is coming from.

D<So...do we have a plan?>

T"You will turn the Monitamon invisible, & then they'll sneak in under cover of a wind storm."

D<...What is the magic word?>

T"Please."

*She turns to the Hi-Vision Monitamon, which starts playing a graphic of Wizardmon touching its rod, at which point waves fly out of its antenna & strike a trio of Monitamon, making them all vanish. It plays this on repeat until Wizardmon extends a finger, beaming some data into it. The binary wall around them also falls apart, the data disappearing into the ground.*

G<Bite? What are you taling about?>

Ts"Forget about that. How long is this connection going to last?"

Agent<That's tough to say. Whenever the signal is dropped, we'll surely lose you. We can keep this device on, but we don't know what else might cause the signal to drop.>

Lookout<I can see Baihumon perched on an island on the horizon! I can also see night approaching!>

*She means this quite literally, as a wave of darkness sweeps over the sea & sky from the direction they came from.*

*This doesn't stop them from firing Rosetta Stones, lasers, & blades of wind at her.  WarGreymon Great Tornadoes through the fire, but when she reaches Susanoomon, he slashes, forcing her to block. Also, hers & Dianamon's Burst Auras continue to blink in & out. A trio of Shurimon appear around Dianamon in a tornado of leaves & throw shuriken at her.*

Cameron:<That's creepy, but not as creepy as that guy.>

*Cameron looks behind him for Betsumon*

*Dianamon swings he scythe to destroy the incoming attacks, then continues on towards Susanoomon. As soon as she comes in range, Dianamon sends a massive ice blast at his chest, followed by several arrows*

Azuma: "People are going to wonder why you keep glancing around like that."

This would be an easily remedied problem, but Hitomi lacks a sufficent amount of privilige leaving Angewomon to continue to fly and jump around to avoid getting assblasted.

*As it turns out, Betsumon's not there. Baihumon calls out in his booming, growling voice. Should Renamon turn, the families will be treated to a giant white tiger thing that takes up most of their field of vision, even from relatively far away.*

Baihumon<How fared the negotiations?>

*The Burst Auras begin to blink more rapidly, prompting War Greymon to drop out of Burst Mode altogether & aim a flaming kick into Susanoomon's stomach. Susanoomon swings down with the Zero Arms Orochi, which is joined by a strike of lightning. The Shurimon opt to hold Dianamon back at the cost of losing their arms to the cold. Some of the flying Digimon break off towards them. Of the ones that remain attacking Angewomon, the Halsemon charge past her with their tornado attack, attempting to out flank her.*

D<So...did it work?>

*Hi-Vision Monitamon's monitor switches to the forest, where a torrent of wind sweeps the leaves off of the branches. The view then jumps into one of the higher windows of Bagramon's tower. The halls inside are as ghost white as the exterior, & tend to wind around the tower in a circular fashion, though this doesn't meant that they don't branch off at points. As the Monitamon split up, the screen splits. Eventually, on Monitor 4, one of them finds Bagramon sleeping on a throne carved into the side of the tree. Monitor 6 ends up in a bed chamber where the decor matches Barbamon's outfit, & not so coincidentally, Barbamon & Yesod are having another little chat.*

Barbamon<We have found the wreckage of the Concert Hall. But Bagramon won't allow a second Great Darkness to be raised. Not one that is out of his control, at any rate.>

Yesod<Are you sure we can't eliminate Bagramon?>

Barbamon<Positive. He is too powerful, & he is close from drawing the beast from beyond the veil. What of the Bio-Hybrids?>

Yesod<The fools in the Southwest Sea failed to destroy any of them. They briefly incapacitated Megidramon, but they left the human Vanessa alive. By now, Kurata has surely reunited the 2.>

Barbamon<Were any of the human children destroyed?>

Yesod<Unfortunately, no. But in the east, Jupitermon has betrayed them. Perhaps he can make some use of himself.>

Barbamon<That just leaves MaloMyotismon & Mervamon. Of the 2, the latter is surely the weakest among us, but she hides underground like a coward.>

*Mervamon slams her fist on the table & glares at the screen.*

Yesod<I should be able to manage an air strike. That will eliminate her quickly & easily. Perhaps we should allow Bagramon & MaloMyotismon to weaken each other?>

Barbamon<That would only allow the Great Darkness to grow.>

Azuma: "Not too well."

*Dianamon decides to drop out as well, swinging her scythe at the Shurimon before attempting to continue on to join the fight against Susanoomon*

D<Isn't our "real enemy" Kurata? Also, is there any cheesier possible name for Bagramon's evil plan than "The Great Darkness"?>

T"Dimension Delete and Deadly Destruction Day."

*DemiDevimon stares at her feet.*

D<...Okay, that would be worse....>

*Mervamon holds out her hand.*

Mervamon<Silence! They just mentioned Mistress Lilithmon!>

*The Shurimon back off, but then attempt to grab Dianamon with their feet. Meanwhile, 3 more appear around War Greymon while she's stunned from getting a big gash in the shoulder & being struck by lightning.*

*The Shurimon attempting to pry off WarGreymon meet a fiery end as her firewhirls & Susanoomon's clash, growing into an enormous fire storm.*

*The Blimpmon start shooting their missiles at Angewomon. She is blasted from above by stars & the various Digimon around her fire lasers at her--though it seems that some are aiming at the missiles that approach her.*

Azuma: "I think there are more pressing matters to fret over than your pissing contest with no one."

Angewomon tries to manuver around the Blimpmon to get out of their line of sight which may not matter if other assholes are trying to assblast her.

*Dianamon flies towards Susanoomon, avoiding the fire and shooting arrows at his head*

*Having been pierced in the brain, Susanoomon finally dissolves into data, but the storm & firewhirls remain. Seeing the fire tornadoes around her whirl out of control, War Greymon Great Tornadoes out of there. The Shurimon wrap their legs more securely around Dianamon & dive bomb into the fire, clearly attempting to kill themselves & take her with them.*

*Angewomon now sees why they're shooting at these missiles, as one explodes & engulfs her left wings in a fireball. She's also struck by stars. The Pegasusmon seem to be adjusting their attacks to try to herd her into a firewhirl behind her. Antylamon leaps over the enemies attacking her to land nearby & ask the obvious question.*

Antylamon<Why aren't you doing anything?!>

Baihumon<My sanctuary will be useless after this war. With the damage that Leviamon & Mega Seadramon did to it, the barrier that holds back the tides will last for only 5 years, if that. And that is assuming that we don't receive another catastrophic blow. In fact, it would be best if I could begin evacuations as quickly as possible.>

AM<Are you promising this stretch of territory to me?>

Baihumon<On two conditions: Firstly, you make no quarrel with the Digimon under my protection until such time that I can remove them. They are not your subjects. Secondly, I wish you to return the beach you conquered to Bastemon's people.>

AM<Your first term is acceptable, but I fail to see why cats should need beach front property.>

Bastemon<We need a place to live & fish to eat!>

AM<Surely you can find a nice lake somewhere.>

Impmon<Scary outburst aside, they mentioned the Demon Lords...didn't you say somethin' 'bout that earlier?>

*She looks to the group & Wizardmon looks down at him.*

D<Yeah, & it sounds like they're willing to force Digimon to join them. You should probably watch out.>

T"But the Demon Lords & the Great Darkness are not the same thing. Yesod & Barbamon have a different motive from Bagramon."

Lyra:<Maybe we shouldn't have drop kicked a potential demon lord earlier.>

Angewomon's peril should be most obvious as she's been carrying Hitomi the entire time who probably has motion sickness for the first time in her life after this whole endevour.

However the hell it's supposed to work besides stupidly, Hitomi slashes the Cocytus Breath card, Angewomon blasting the Pegasusmon, the creatures hope that perpetuated the hopeless situation.

*Let's say Dianamon was able to cut them down before they could securely bind her limbs. War Greymon generates a Terra Force to throw at the fire whirl threatening to consume Angewomon, & is left defenseless when the Blimpmon start shooting missiles at her. Several of the Pegasusmon are destroyed as Antylamon cuts down the Halsemon attacking from behind. The Nefertimon are still shooting at them, & they are now joined by Raidramon, as Rhinomon charge them in formation, each with a Baromon riding on it.*

T"It may actually be a good idea to remove him from the equation while he's isolated."

*She blows Thiera, who shudders, a kiss.*

*Having plenty of time before the arrows reach them, the Blimpmon shoot them down. The Rhinomon need not do anything to stop Angewomon, as she's assblasted by all of the attacks, falls to the ground, & reverts to Salamon. Antylamon opts to scoop her & Hitomi up & run in the other direction. War Greymon is hit by a bunch of missiles & separates into Agumon & Euryale. Without skipping a beat, she holds out her other arm to catch them. Of the ground troops, only the Raidramon pursue, but the air force continues following & firing after them.*

E"See if you can lure them into the mountains!"

Antylamon<If I do, Jupitermon's storm barrier will activate!>

E"Well, maybe one of the cards can help us with that!"

Cameron:<(What do you have?)>

*With the Mermaimon clustering around & slapping their tails on the deck angrily, Tsune shoves Azuma.*

Ts"Would you knock it off? You're not helping!"

*Baihumon growls, which is enough to send small waves lapping at the sides of the ship. In response, Bastemon lowers her ears & tails & crouches low on all fours.*

Bastemon<All we have is a modest amount of treasure that we took with us. Nothing that the fish-people would want.>

G<Then we'll just have to give them something that they don't have. Something from Hypnos.>

*As if in response to their line of thought, one of the Monitamon begins tailing Yesod. A normal Devidramon is waiting for him outside of the window, which he climbs on to fly away. The screen zooms in to keep after him.*

T"If he's flying, it's going to be difficult to attack him without attracting attention."

Mervamon<I refuse to let him get away! I shall mobilize the Lady Devimon immediately!>

*Wizardmon raises her arms. Mervamon smiles sweetly at her.*

D<Hey, I didn't volunteer for this!>

Mervamon<Oh, not you, Honey. My chief advisers.>

T"If you're taking care of that, then I guess we could have the Monitamon spy on MaloMyotismon next."
