*Venusmon takes her suit jacket off & begins unbuttoning the undershirt, exposing white cloth underneath. She walks up to Netzach.*

*Datamon is coming along with them because why not. Unfortunately, they have to pass much deeper into the facility. By the time they get to B8, a pair of guards walking down the hall stop & look back.*

*Meanwhile, the doors of the B7 prison block open & several guards swarm in. Of course, they don't see anything, but with them is an agent with thick, slicked back black hair, who is sniffing the air like Netzach was.*

*Everyone stops and holds their breath*

Everyone on all sides is waiting because oh shit, Wizardmon's magic is balls.

2<Think it might be those invisible Digimon?>

1<Or just the plumbing. We don't want to raise a false alarm, so let's just continue our rounds.>

*They start walking off.*

2<Yeah, I guess, but they'll have to change something so this doesn't happen again, right? Think maybe we'll get smoke bombs, or some kind of Digimon detectors?>

*He starts to leave, but the guards look to one another in confusion.*

Guard<Sir, we--can't just randomly execute the prisoners. It's against the law.>

*The Agent turns back to face them.*

???<We're the law now. New orders: Whoever kills the most Digimon sympathizers gets to be on the new Cabinet.>

*Meanwhile, Wizardmon flies over the crowd, holding Thiera in her arms.*

T"(What's going on?)"

*Tsune & Gomamon can be seen watching from the back of the gaggle of guards, who all begin murmuring to each other.*

Lyra:<They're going to kill out parents!?>

They continue on their way. Possibly wondering why a government organization seems to lack things like infared goggles or whatever.

Taiyo: "Wha....what do we do?"

Hitomi: "Rescue them."

*Wizardmon immediately looses a lightning bolt from her staff, which impacts the Agent in the chest & throws him against the wall. She then spins her staff, raising a translucent blue barrier to deflect the bullets now coming their way.*

T"How did the spell break?!"

D<I attacked. But we can't let him arm the security system!>

*Gomamon jumps down from Tsune's shoulder as some of the guards take notice of her.*

Ts<Don't get too big, or you'll trigger it anyway!>

G<Right!>

*So he grows into Ikkakumon, shielding her behind his bulk. He swipes a foot, knocking over dozens of guards like dominoes.*

1<Okay, that time I DEFINITELY heard something!>

A<We don't have time for this, let's just knock them out!>

E"Don't have to ask me twice!"

*Euryale charges a guard as they grab their guns, grabbing him around the waist & tackling him to the ground. Agumon Pepper Breaths the gun out of his hand as Euryale starts wrestling his hands out of the way. Up above, the ceiling shakes enough to knock loose a rain of dust.*

*Kotemon digivolves to Gladimon and starts knocking out guards with his fists and the flat part of his sword*

*Crescemon jumps on the other guard, attempting to grab the gun and punch him in the face*

Assholes in the way and likely not a lot of space makes MagnaAngemon really just stand there, so he resolves to heal Monodramon of its condition.

Salamon Digivolves and both Gatomon & Renamon squeeze by the fatty walrus likely not named Paul to get in on the offensive.

*Being that she's, what, a Champion or an Ultimate, he hits the ground, hopefully unconscious, & she now has a new gun. If MagnaAngemon knows anything about Venusmon, he knows there's nothing to be healed--she simply makes her targets not want to fight. The ceiling shakes a few more times.*

A<I think they've started fighting up above.>

E"Damn. I guess even Netzach eventually shuts up. We have to hurry, or Venusmon won't stand a chance."

D<Assessment: You underestimate Lady Venusmon's power simply because it does not revolve around violence. We follow her because she is the most powerful Digimon that we have ever discovered. Powerful enough to resist & diffuse any form of assault.>

*Just then, a siren goes off & the exits & cell doors begin being sealed behind thick steel doors as the sprinklers kick on.*

*In the confusion, all of the guards turn their attacks on the Digimon. Due to the cramped space, several wind up shooting each other or getting hit by ricocheting bullets. They take chest shots just fine, indicating that they are wearing bullet proof vests, but the ones sporting limp arms or lying in a pool of their own leg blood are not so lucky. When attacking Wizardmon's shield just results in a rain of bullets, they turn their attention towards Ikkakumon. Similarly, after the 1st wave or 2 of guards around Gladimon fall, the rest begin taking out stun guns. Wizardmon & Thiera land in front of the Agent as he's rising to his feet & Wizardmon blasts him with another shot of lightning, which arcs to the wall & causes panels to start exploding.*

<Security system armed.>

D<Shit.>

*And so things go further south as the exits & cells begin being sealed behind thick metal doors & the sprinklers go off.*

MagnaAngemon draws Excalibur. Hopefully a magic sword or some shit can cut through steel.

*Gladimon tried to knock out the nearest guards before they get their stun guns out*

Karatenmon:<Time to go!>

*This causes Karatenmon, Crescemon, & MagnaAngemon to be doused in anti-Digimon water. It causes Crescemon & Karatenmon to degrade in short order--not to mention immense pain--but has to melt through armor first. Euryale, meanwhile, scoops up Agumon & Datamon, shielding them with her body & also holding up the D-Power to emit a shield as she runs forward.*

"Around the corner, in the center of the hallway, there should be a staircase! Then we'll be on B8!"

A<But how will we get to B9 before we're sealed in?>

*Of course, the ceiling still shakes, & occasionally the lights flicker.*

*Wizardmon releases a blast of ice into the ceiling. This freezes the water while it's still in the pipes & causes the whole sprinkler system to fall apart. She then uses a gust of wind to blast it all into nearby cells, thus neutralizing that threat. The steel doors, however, are still closing. MadLeomon is, of course, bashing guards against walls to knock them out.*

G<It's like there's no end to these guards!>

T"There are a lot, but they're not too hard for the Digimon to handle! Some of you should go free our families, while it's still easy to get into their cells!"

Ts"I was already planning on it. C'mon, Ikakumon."

*Gladimon digivolves to Knightmon and starts busting down doors*

*Lunamon and Cameorn do the same for their respective partners*

Azuma conjures up a shield around himself, MagnaAngemon and Monodramon and get the hell out of there.

Not being built for bunker busting, Gatomon & Renamon continue assualting guards as they pour in.

*The shields are not infinitely large, so anyone who hasn't regressed to a sensible size is still melting. By the time they get to the staircase, the exit is almost completely sealed off by the doors.*

E"We don't have any choice but to break through!"

A<I don't think we're really strong enough without Digivolving.>

*Datamon shoots something out of its finger that shorts out the panel, keeping the door open for them to squeeze through single file with great difficulty & probably a lot of pain.*

Data<Warning! Those nano spores are only viable as a short term solution. The remaining doors have already sealed according to a probability factor infinitely proximal to 100%.>

*Eventually, what few guards remain conscious attempt to break ranks & flee. The 1st door that Knightmon attacks proves surprisingly strong & still holds in place after his attack, despite being heavily distorted*

T"Make sure you're attacking the right doors, or else you'll just be wasting your energy!"

*Wizardmon begins shocking that agent again, but regresses to DemiDevimon halfway.*

D<Speaking of wasting energy.>

*The agent stomps on her & shoots at Thiera, who just barely manages to dive out of the way. The bullet ricochets in a series of sparks & hits MadLeomon in the leg, halting his charge & causing him to skid face-first into a wall.*

*Knightmon searches until he finds a door labeled with the name of someone's family, then starts bashing*

Renamon Diamond Storms the shooty guard.

*Agumon & Euryale each push with all of their weight on a door to widen the gap, so that everyone can get through faster. Of course, by this point, any Digimon that hasn't already regressed to a manageable size has melted down to one. On the next floor, the sprinklers are still going, so it's not safe to disengage the D-Power shields yet. What's worse, there is a line of about half a dozen guards poised at the bottom of the staircase with stun guns in their left hands & regular guns in their right. Fortunately for the group, they decide to fire the stun guns.*

*In the highly unlikely event that they label the prisons of their secret captives so obviously, the doors have still been sealed behind generic steel shutters. One would think that these people would have memorized the locations several pages back, once they found their families & chose to not talk to them for some reason. Meanwhile, the man who shot at Thiera was an Agent, not a guard, as I have uniformly differentiated him. However, one the Agent Digivolves to Tactimon, another guard takes advantage of Renamon's distraction to shoot at her.*

Tactimon<Prioritize the human partners, not the junk data.>

*Another guard opts to fire at Tactimon instead, but it just bounces off of him & bounces off of the walls to parts unknown. Yet another guard takes a shot at that guy, grazing his shoulder. While everything is quickly going to shit, Ikkakumon can be heard off somewhere else, slamming into prison doors.*

*Lyra points at the door I guess her family is behind, and Knightmon starts bashing*

*Everyone gets the fuck out of the wait, Lunamon and Biyomon attacking with tear Shot and Spiral twister respectively*

Hideki adds his own shield to the mix while Angemon attacks with Heaven's Knuckle.
