Episode Eleven: War

Kylie:<Aw, that's so sweet! Thanks Aroma!>

*They start heading down*

Igamon: "No."

They stumble around in the dark before Igamon turns the light on which they should have waited for.

Downstairs is a table and some chairs that don't look like they've ever been used. There's also another hallway.

On the back wall is a map of the city, thick lines of black, blue, red, and green outline the four sectors as well as photos of Material World landmarks tacked to the wall and connected to the map by a string of whatever color represents that sector.

Azuma: "What sector is what here?"

Igamon: "Black is Sector One, blue is Sector Two, red is Sector Three, and green is Sector Four."

*Everyone sits down*

Cameron:<How'd you get pictures from our world?>

A"It's no problem. Um--you're welcome."

*The others start setting up the food, I guess. Hard to avoid phoning this in when I can't really input on all of this exospeak.*

D<Hey, ask him where the water is.>

A"Oh, but I wouldn't want to interr-->

D<Hey, where's the water?!>

*She starts waving at him & making the shush gesture, looking panicky.*

Probably misplaced as no one remembers what they looted as foretold.

Igamon: "These are images from this city. It's a conglomerate of landmarks and structures from your world."

Azuma: "The Kremlin at the center of Sector Three. Would that be a good spot to head to?"

E"I've got a bunch of bags of water, remember?"

A"Oh yeah."

*Dorumon sets out some food & Flamedramon pokes a hole in a bag. Aroma pulls on her hair.*

A"Wait, wait, we should wait until we have some tableware so that we don't make a mess!"

Eve:<It would be quite amusing if that was their base.>

Lunamon:<We gotta rough it and eat with our hands!>

Azuma: "Yes, I think that was the point. Any insight?"

Igamon: "No who has gone near this Kremlin has returned. They've been presumed captured or destroyed. Just getting a photograph was hard enough."

Those with canteens may wish to remember they have them so as not to waste what precious water they have.

Azuma: "So we try to make our way there while going about the whole emancipating enemy soldiers plan. Might be difficult since we don't have working maps on our Digivices."

OOC: How am I supposed to know that?

E"Couldn't we just copy down that map, or something?"

A"But that's unsanitary!"

Eve:<Then that seems like the best place to start looking for Machinedramon. Once we find a way to get close of course.>

Lunamon:<Evil digimon will kill us before germs will!>

Igamon: "If you have anything to do that with."

Taiyo: "Where does that hallway lead?"

She motions to the hallway that's just kind of there.

Igamon: "To the building next door. I can't leave the entrance to hear open and uncovered."

*Aroma shakes her head, still pulling on her hair.*

A"No, no, no! There's probably asbestos down here! You'll get cancer!"

E"So what makes THAT tunnel safe?"

R"And can we just get some forks or something before Aroma has a heart attack?"

Eve:<I have pencils and paper.>

*She stares making a copy of the map*

To feel useful, Taiyo takes a photo of the map because she has a camera. One-upping Eve is entirely unintentional.

Igamon: "The only way to get into it is through this room or the one on the other side which is also hidden like this one."

R"So about those forks...."

*Euryale pats Taiyo on the back.*

E"Great idea, Sweetie."

*Eve finishes her map anyway*

Azuma: "Open one up. Maybe it'll have plastic forks or something. If that house meant anything, metal is a luxury and water is too precious to use for washing dishes."

*They attempt to open the mystery containers. Euryale bumps into Taiyo, nudging her closer to Aroma. Aroma smiles nervously at Taiyo & looks away, blushing, at which point Euryale looks at Taiyo & points to her.*

R"Do you 3 need to be alone?"

E"Shut up."

R"That's a yes."

*So Roatha shuffles off somewhere else, dragging Dorumon with him. Flamedramon grabs some of the food & water & follows. Lalamon looks around in confusion, then settles on jumping on Flamedramon's head.*

*Everyone wanders after Roatha*

Inside the box/baggie things is a plastic spork as well as the meal itself, unappetizing in its dehydrated state.

With nothing else being said or to be said, Igamon leaves up the stairs they came down, closing off the entrance.

Taiyo seems embarrassed especially since this isn't really the place to talk about their feelings. Of course it's probably better here than the potential warzone that is the world above ground.

Renamon not picking up on social cues like the rest of the world, doesn't leave until Taiyo nods to say it's okay.

The other room is very much like the previous one with a table and chairs that appear to have never been used. The only difference is the lack of an obvious door and a wall on their right has a green square on it.

*Roatha sits down, Flamedramon reverts to Guilmon, Dorumon & Lalamon hop up on the table, & all start opening food packages.*

D<Why are we in here?>

R"Because. You'll understand when you're older, & also if you were human."

D<Well, I'm not. Explain it to me anyway.>

*Roatha picks up Dorumon, stares deep into his eyes in an intense fashion, & speaks as though he's telling a horror story.*

R"Humans don't come from eggs. Instead, screaming human women push new humans out of their stomachs in a spray of blood & body waste."

*Lalamon covers her ears & runs around, where she falls off of the table & starts rolling. She might be crying. For once, Guilmon puts down food, his ears & eyes drooping.*

D<No they don't, you made that up to scare me...r-right?>

*Roatha shakes his head, never breaking eye contact or changing his expression.*

R"Still want to know more?"

E"So, Aroma, what have you been up to?"

A"Oh...I was kidnapped by spiders, who then ripped apart an old, sleeping tree-man in front of me...I don't want to talk about it...."

*Aroma frowns & stares at her feet.*

*Eve rolls her eyes*

<Humans reproduce through sexual reproduction, basically genetic material from two individuals comes together to create a new human. What Roatha's referring to is that human young are carried inside an special organ in female humans for a period of about 9 months.>

Taiyo: "They didn't hurt you, did they?"

R"And then expelled in a spray of blood & body waste."

D<Just stop talking, both of you! She's making my head hurt & you're making my stomach sick!>

*She pours some water onto some dehydrated food.*

*Eve smiles and sits near Roatha*
