Episode Eleven: War

E"I guess we're waking everyone up."

*Roatha & Dorumon make some unidentifiable noises & get up.*

*Everyone else gets up I guess*

Assuming Euryale moved, Taiyo had probably fallen over. It was probably unpleasant.

Patamon: "What are we going to do if it's not the right time?"

Azuma: "Not have a repeat of the night before."

Biyomon:<So who's going to go check?>

*Euryale would usually volunteer, but she's too busy saying, "Sorry, Honey" & offering Taiyo help up.*

R"We'll do it, I guess."

D<What do you mean "we"?>

R"We're partners. Quit being lazy."

Taiyo rubs her head because ouchies. Now would be a good time for Aroma to swoop in and do doctor things, but she's fickle.

Azuma: "Door's over there."

He points to the wall with the green square on it.

Terriermon:<Don't get killed!>

R"I promise nothing."

*So they head out to check on shit.*

A"Um--is there anything that I can do to help?"

E"Probably not, but thanks for the offer."

Let's say he figured out how to open the door as without the mark on it, it would've just been another wall.

Anywho, the room above is much like the one from the other building where they met Igamon which is to say largely empty and no windows. Around a corner is a hall leading to the front room where there would be windows.

Taiyo: "I'll be fine, thank you."

*So he goes down the hall?*

*Awkward silence*

The interior of the front room looks like the place was once a store of sorts with a few stands and display cases left if they were made of anything other than metal. Outside a large picture window which is a great thing to be standing in front of when the odds of being shot are high, Roatha can see that it's dark. Not pitch black, but the sky is clouded over more so than before.

Also it's snowing.

*He reports his findings to the others, I guess. Once again, hard to avoid phoning this in when I have so little to go on. Literally did not mention whether or not it's daytime, or what direction the light was coming from, just "it's dark & cloudy."*

Cameron:<Do we risk it?>

Azuma: "On one hand, we shouldn't be in one place for too long. On the other, it might be safer to travel at night."

E"It's not too long until nightfall, so it couldn't hurt to wait until it gets a little bit darker. I don't think it needs to be pitch black before we can move, though."

Eve:<Then we wait an hour or so?>

Azuma: "Recap of what the plan is?"

E"We're going to make our way to the Kremlin, trying to drive the black gears out of Machinedramon's soldiers as we go. We will then direct them back to the resistance, so they can serve as our back-up."

Terriermon:<All without Machinedramon's forces finding out what we're doing. Man, I miss the old plan of blowing up everything that moved.>

Presumably someone checks again to see if it's dark and lo and behold, it is, the streets illuminated by spotlights. There's always been something melancholic about walking in the snow at night, maybe they'll find out just what it is.

By some coincidence, the backdoor to the building they're in is unlocked.

E"How about you send Dorugamon to scout ahead?"

R"Shouldn't Renamon do it? She can, like, teleport or some shit."

D<Wait a minute, did you suggest me because you like Renamon better?>

E"...Uh, no...of course not...."

*She looks up, avoiding his gaze.*

D<You did!>

R"(Don't yell, you idiot!)"

Lunamon:<I can go since I can see in the dark.>

Azuma peeks outside and around the corners. The alley is clear, but that is not their main concern.

Renamon just plain ol' goes out because if someone doesn't take any initiative, they're going to stand there all night.

Creeping down the alley, hanging close to the walls and behind things, she peers around the corner to the streets. The street is clear, but there are Commandramon on the rooftops.

She falls back to report that to them.

E"So we have to neutralize them stealthfully, probably by flying in."

L<Commandramon are Rookies, so it shouldn't be much of a problem.>

E"Yes, but they might call for back-up if we don't act quickly enough.>

A"I may be able to put them to sleep as Rosemon."

*Dorumon is off sulking, despite Guilmon nudging & occasionally licking him.*
