Episode Eleven: War

*In a scene that surely looks ridiculous, Rosemon puts a hand over her eyes, tears streaming down her face, so Gallantmon walks over to put its shield arm around her. Gallantmon leads Rosemon over to the elevator as quickly as they can go without being crass. Roatha & Dorumon follow, the latter jumping down to run ahead.*

*Everyone heads over, Kylie holding Lunamon tightly and trying not to cry loudly. Eve walks a bit behind Roatha, while Cameron and Biyomon walk behind Kylie*

Azuma pushes buttons on the control panel that look like they'll take them down. It does and the further down the elevator descends, those who haven't reverted previously do so. Rapidmon Bling would have been excluded, but Terriermon reverted, so....

Those who try Digivolving regularly get a message on their Digivices saying Signal Jammed.

Eve:<Stopping the signal preventing digivolution should be our first priority.>

E"Hopefully the resistance knows about that."

*She puts the Crest of Courage necklace on. Aroma & Lalamon are still busy crying.*

The elevator comes to a halt and they're now in a steel corridor, the sound of running water beneath the floor inaudible due to the sounds of conflict coming from deeper down the corridor behind them.

Their maps are also still offline.

Azuma: "If it's anything like the obelisks in Dagomon's domain, Armor Digivolution should still be viable."

Cameron:<Which only four or five of us even have.>

R"Who is Dagomon? What obelisks?"

E"Yeah, Lalamon can't Armor Digivolve, what's Aroma supposed to do?"

A"I--I'm s--sorry I'm s--so useless!"

E"What? No! I didn't mean it like that!"

*Guilmon watches them curiously, tilting his head.*

D<For what it's worth, I don't think I can either.>

Azuma: "It's....not important. We'll just have to be quick about meeting up with HiAndromon."

Taiyo: "You're not useless. Just do your best and everything will be fine."

A"But what can I do without Lalamon? I don't have big muscles like Euryale & I'm not smart like Eve."

*Euryale looks at her arm, rubbing her bicep.*

E"Aw, thanks, I try to stay in shape--wait, that's 'big' in a good way, right?"

*Eve pats her on the back*

<You're very kind. Remember, you have medically knowledge that has helped us many times. You're far from useless.>

Kylie:<None of us can fight without our digimon, but that doesn't mean we're worthless.>

Azuma: "It's great how we're all friends, but we should start moving."

*They all get out*

Cameron:<Sounds like the action's that way.>

*He gestures towards the direction of the sounds*

*Aroma thanks them & then they head on their way. Not that she doesn't still have the sniffles.*

It indeed is and soon they emerge in a wide open cavern of sorts where they see Mamemon & MetalMamemon engaged in a seriously one sided battle with Commandramon and Sealsdramon outside a large steel building.

While Machinedramon's forces seek cover, the resistance fighters plow through everything, Igamon trying to make its way through the battleground without getting blown up by friend or foe.

???: "Chosen Children, you've arrived."

From the shadows of the corridor they came from emerges Kogamon.

E"Yes, but we can't Digivolve, this thing just says that the signal is jammed."

*She holds up her D-Terminal.*

A"And BlackWarGreymon's d--dead...."

*Euryale frowns, lowering her D-Terminal.*

E"Yeah...that too...."

*Guilmon stops sniffing Kogamon long enough to droop his ears & look at Euryale.*

Eve:<Armor digivolution is still possible, however only a few of us can do that.>

Kogamon: "This is the Black Gear manufacturing plant. Every other part of Machinedramon's operation is somewhere else in the tunnels."

The Mamemon & MetalMamemon break through the perimeter and begin advancing on the factory until a barrage of missiles force them to seek cover. A row of Andromon come marching from the factory, Kogamon looks pissed at the sight.

*Terriermon golden armor digivolves and fires his own missiles at whoever fired the first ones*

The Andromon recoil although some are destroyed.

Kogamon: "Those Andromon are our comrades!"

Rapidmon:<They were shooting at you guys!>

*Aroma flinches at this news.*

E"Not to sound crass, but you should really warn us to avoid this kind of situation. That's why human armies wear uniforms--so we can recognize our own. Besides, it's not like we know what your plan is."

Kogamon: "We don't have uniforms. Didn't Igamon fill you in on the Factorial Town situation? The Andromon are under control of the Black Gears. We destroy the power source and the whole thing falls apart."

Rapidmon:<Fine, next time I'll wait around to be told who to shoot at.>

*He crosses his arms and looks annoyed, but is pretty obviously trying not to seem really upset-*

E"So we should just fly over everyone, find the generator or whatever, & destroy it. Sounds easy enough."
