Episode Eleven: War

The direction those assholes who are in the process of dying like heroes is the only way out of the alley lest they attempt to fly which will result in bad bad things.

Because those two are probably going to hurt themselves trying to life things way out of their weight class (especially Aroma), MagnaAngemon and Sakuyamon scoop them up.

With a quick transfer and some other noise, Oryxmon barrels through the crippled remnants of their assailants.

*Gallantmon turns (if necessary) & blocks with her shield. Aroma tries to purify it.*

OOC: Fuck Leafy.

I don't know what the hell Aroma is doing unless she's trying to put the dead back together (which won't work), she's expending precious data.

Rounding the corner to the alley's entrance, they come under fire from more Commandramon that are backed up by a pair of Gundramon that are bombarding the neighborhood like dicks.

Sakuyamon shields them while the Gundramon turn their obnoxious amount of guns towards the would-be heroes.

*The humans point their digivices at the Gundramon and attempt to purify them*

*I suppose they just plow right through.*

Unsurprisingly, it does not work and they promptly unleash Hell on them from dozens of barrels.

Overhead, a pair of quasi-serpentine shadows pass over. Over the PA system the words "Cut down the tall trees," are broadcast.

Tekkamon: "Bombardment Division is in place. Awaiting orders."

Machinedramon: "Broadcast the transmission. Command Code: Elimin-8."

*Good thing Sakuyamon has a shield. Anyway, Rapidmon fires his homing missiles, Dianamon uses Crescent Harken to make the enemies destroy themselves, while Karatenmon uses Feather Flare*

<"Are we going?!">

*Aroma opts to Biomerge & put as many assholes to sleep as possible.*

The Commandramon fall asleep, mitigating the whole making them try to kill each other thing. Aroma's concern about the sleeping thing not working on machines was valid as the Gundramon tank the attacks and continue their assault.

Oryxmon, MagnaAngemon and the humans stick close to Sakuyamon as they press forward, the earth shaking as a section of the city is destroyed.

Up close to the Gundramon, Sakuyamon's shield expands and disipates, unbalancing the Gundramon.

*Dianamon quickly fires some arrows at the Gundramon, followed by Rapidmon's missiles and a Feather Flare from Karantenmon*

*With all of that shit coming, Gallantmon backs the Hell off & shoots lightning at them. Rosemon stomps on the ground, binding them with Ivy.*

D<What should I do?>

R"I say we fly. The situation can't get any worse than it already is."

The Gundramon fall over, making a mess of things. They're going to have trouble standing up again.

With them immobilized, they can hear the explosions from a different section of the city being destroyed and getting closer.

Cameron:<And make a run for the Kremlin?>

R"Maybe it's better if we just leave the city & regroup?"

Azuma: "We don't have time!"

The really drive home the severity of the situation, a number of Tankmon come rolling down the street with a smaller group of Mekanorimon trailing behind them.

E<"Well then, why don't YOU come up with a plan!?">

*She begins charging another Elysium Blaster.*

A<"No, don't!">

*They try to purify the enemy digimon. Encase that fails, Dianamon uses Crescent Harken again*

It's a good thing Euryale is Biomerged as she really needs a helmet if she believes arguing in a warzone is a great idea.

Sakuyamon: "Stop fighting!"

They can barely hear an irritating buzz coming from their Digivice and should they look at it, there's an abbreviation for insufficent data.

What enemies aren't being martyred open fire with a volley of all kinds of munitions. It would be a really good idea to run.

<"I'm just saying, I can't DO anything unless we pick something TO DO!">

*They run I guess*

It's a Dark Horse Victory for CEK and I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they're running in a direction that isn't exploding or has a mob of enemies coming at them, safest bet being down an alley, ARTE hopefully taking it up the rear.

The Tankmon have trouble pursuring given that they'd have to go in single file while the Mekanorimon are less bothered because flight, but their formation is pretty wonky because it's an alley.

The earth shakes with the neighborhood being demolished.

Tekkamon: "Sector One destroyed, destruction of Sector Two initated. Unable to determine casualties."

*Still running*

*I guess they follow.*

The Mekanorimon fire their lasers at Team Helmet. The alley begins to come to an end, more Tankmon rolling in to box them in.

Azuma: "MagnaAngemon, break down one of these doors! Everyone get in!"

It's a strange request, but ain't no one else doing anything, so MagnaAngemon blows open the backdoor to some building and goes inside. Much like the other two buildings, it's a nondescript back room although a cellar door is visible plain as day.

*They try and open the cellar door*
