Episode Eleven: War

*Elysium Blast to try to push Machinedramon further off-course. Dorugreymon evades to the side to give the projectiles a clear path, wraps his tail around its leg, & pulls. Rosemon shoots lightning into its back.*

*Dianamon and Karatenmon both aim for Machinedramon's eyes again. Rapidmon retreats with the other projectile launchers and continuing firing*

Machinedramon pushes on, dragging DoruGreymon with it. When the Final Elysian dies down and it picks up speed again, Gallantmon is pushed through the contraption that held the Digimental and then the back wall of the generator room into a sewer tunnel.

Machinedramon whips around, dragging DoruGreymon across the floor and the debris on it and fires upon everyone else. Sakuyamon attempts to shield them until the blast breaks through and knocks them on their ass.

G<"Rosemon, plug up his guns!">

*So she attempts to do just that, using one of her abilities that make vines or whatever. Gallantmon & Dorugreymon continue using their strongest attacks from behind.*

R"Don't you think you're just wasting it?!"

G<"Maybe, or maybe if we can't find a weak spot, we just need to make our own!">

*Dianamon and Karatenmon are still doing the same thing as before. Rapidmon waits until Machinedramon mouth opens before firing his homing missiles inside*

Machinedramon makes use of the fact they're all in a hallway that has nowhere to go but forward or backwards and charges their ass with all god knows how many pounds of itself and its surprising amount of mobility.

*Everyone keeps moving to stay ahead of Machinedramon. Not like they can do anything else since all attacks are apparently useless*

Machinedramon's pretty quick to keep up with them. Angewomon & MagnaAngemon attempt to keep at bay via a shield and shield ability, but don't come close to slowing it down anywhere near as much as Gallantmon did and are plowed over and trampeled.

It is probably quite painful. Lack of space and using mostly fire, Sakuuamon can't do a great deal except to try and slow it down.

*Still doing the same thing I guess. Some aims are also aimed at Machinedramon's head*

Machinedramon pursues staying just far enough back to create the illusion that they're staying ahead because it enjoys the chase as any hunter should.

They end up back at the factory, the surrounding area being much more open than the tunnels meaning it should be a lot less painful for them because goddamn could no one see what was going on especially the one whose Crest says they're smart.

It's at that point, Machinedramon barrels into them.

The factory itself is beat to hell having been bombarded recently and the entrance caved in preventing them from trying to get in should they had thought of trying as well as trapping the survivors of Machinedramon's recent massacre inside.

*Everyone flies away from Machinedramon, then Dianamon and Karatenmon go back to trying to take out the eyes, while Rapidmon uses Golden Triangle*

*Bitches fly into the air. Dorugreymon & Rosemon again, but Gallantmon instead blasts the floor in the hopes that Machinedramon will fall into a hole.*

G<If we can't punch through its armor, we'll just have to get something just as tough!>

Machinedramon is quick to evade, but can't go too far without having to slow down to turn to face anyone lest it crashes into not an enemy.

The claw on its not-Trident Claw and fires a missile at Gallantmon.

*Rosemon uses a vine to grab the missile below the warhead. Dorugreymon helps her to swing with all of her might, trying to redirect it towards Machinedramon. Gallantmon dashes away & fires an Elysium Blaster at him.*

*Dianamon and Karatenmon dives away from Machinedramon, then they and Rapidmon add in their attacks to that of the missile*

Using the heat from the explosions and from charging its cannons, the vines that had been covering them burn away and its fires multiple shots, some of which aren't even going in their direction. It would probably be laughing if stoicism wasn't a big part of its character.

Angewomon, MagnaAngemon, and Sakuyamon attempt to enter the area having had to pick themselves up from being trampled duck back into the tunnel to avoid getting 360 quickscoped.

*Dodge and attack again I guess*

It continues firing, making dodging and aiming difficult due to the lack of being able to predict where the shots are heading.

Granted with this lot, you could drop a rock and they wouldn't be able to predict that it'd hit the ground.

Anywho, if they're not pinned down in the tunnel, patches of ground explode around them, dirt, concrete, and steel flying into the air. Among the barrage, DoruGreymon being the biggest and bulkiest is tagged with a munitions blast followed by shots heading towards Gallantmon and Rapidmon Bling.

*Gallantmon fires the Elysium Blaster again, aiming into the cannons, hoping to either blow the missiles up in his face or maybe cause a back-up that blows the cannons clean off. Rosemon steals Machinedramon's life force because that's apparently something that she can do. Dorugreymon seeks cover.*

*Dianamon tries to use Goodnight Moon to put Machinedramon to sleep. Karatenmon aims Feather Flare into the cannons, while Rapidmon moves to dodge and fires his own missiles to destroy the shots coming in his direction*

Machinedramon destroys the missiles and ceases firing, smoke billowing from the cannons as they glow red from overheating.

Rosemon is probably sucking in motor oil which can't be good for her.

Angewomon and MagnaAngemon come out and attack, Angewomon firing an arrow at it while MagnaAngemon takes a swing with the Excalibur, getting smacked down with Machinedramon's Trident Claw for his trouble and stabbed in the chest, reverting to Angemon.

Machinedramon: "How does one man assert his power over another?"

Azuma tries to run out from hiding, Sakuyamon getting in his way.

Azuma: "By making him suffer."

Machinedramon: "Exactly. By making him suffer. Obedience is not enough. Unless he is suffering, how can you be sure that he is obeying your will and not his own? Power is in inflicting pain and humiliation. Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing. Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating?

A world of fear and treachery is torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon, a world which will grow not less but MORE merciless as it refines itself. Progress in our world will be progress towards more pain. The old civilizations claimed that they were founded on love or justice. Ours is founded upon hatred. In our world there will be no emotions except fear, rage, triumph, and self-abasement. Everything else we shall destroy – everything."

G<"No one cares. Rosemon, jump back & lightning on the cannons!">

*Rosemon follows orders. Gallantmon leaps back & also attacks the cannons, but with Elysium Blaster. Dorugreymon just shoots a bigass cannonball at it.*

Cameron:<Why does everyone like to stop fighting and monologue for a while?>

*Rapidmon, Karatenmon, and Dianamon all add in Golden Triangle, Feather Flare, and arrows with Gallentmon's attack*

Demonstrating what its new world order is all about and not standing in place forever, Machinedramon turns and barrels into Rosemon. If it were wearing a boot, she would be the face that is stamped on forever.

Being where Machinedramon was during its speech, Angemon struggles to get up and the hell out of there to not be obliterated by the psychopaths he has aligned himself with for reasons no one can understand.

The missile port in Machinedramon's hand opens up and it fires it at Karatenmon.

*Karatenmon flies away and uses Feather Flare to destroy the missile. Dianamon covers Angemon while he gets to safety, and Rapidmon flies around to hit Machinedramon from behind*
