Episode Eleven: War

HiAndromon takes the Digivice and plugs it in the port. It goes through the process of installing new hardware and overall the same speel one would get when they connect their phone or whatever to a computer before the data is downloaded after which HiAndromon returns the Digivice.

A map pops up on the screen one spot colored green to show their location and another blue.

HiAndrmon: "From here, backtrack passed the barracks and from the path that leads to the factory, go in the opposote direction passed two elevator shafts. That will take you to the generator room. Password, Bo-300."

*They voice their thanks, then follow those instructions.*

*Eve takes her digivice back, then everyone thanks HiAndromon before they follow Euryale and company*

HiAndromon accompanies them until they come to the fork, HiAndromon going down the path towards the factory, the sound of cannon fire audible.

Azuma: "You're going to Machinedramon?"

HiAndromon: "HiAndromon will exact their vengeance!"

And with that HiAndromon leaves them in the cold, forboding factory to fend for themselves.

E"Wait, don't you think we should wait until we can all attack at full strength!?"

Eve:<I've got to agree with Euryale. Come with us!>

HiAndromon: "This is not up for debate. The longer Machinedramon is free in the factory, the more casualties there will be."

And so HiAndromon leaves them to continue to disregard the dwindling survivors they had hoped would continue to be survivors not too long ago.

E"Did you get the impression anyone was left alive?"

*She turns to Roatha, who shrugs. Then I guess they continue playing Follow The Leader, the Leader not being Euryale, even though following Azuma will probably end with them all starving in a ditch or something.*

*Following*

If they starve, it's their own damn fault. Thankfully Euryale ain't leading this leaderless posse as otherwise they'd be going to challange Machinedramon to a mercy fight because bringing fists to an artillery fight is never a good idea.

Through the cold steel tunnels, lingering bits of data still floating in the air, they come to the steel doors of the generator room which is as non-descript as any other door they've passed.

Hitomi enters the password in the keypad and shields her eyes as everyone else should as the hallway floods with a bright light the color of royalty. The color yellow.

From within the chamber comes a voice like thunder.

???: "It has been a long time since humans have stepped foot in this world. Longer since someone worthy of my power, the Radiance of Miracles has stepped foot in this world."

OOC: 1. The color of royalty is purple. 2. Euryale has never suggested going into a fight unarmed.

*Aroma clings tighter to Taiyo, looking around frantically. Lalamon makes a little squeaking noise as she's squished.*

A"What's going on?! Who is that?!"

*Euryale takes up a boxing stance. In front of her, Flamedramon does the same, igniting his fists. Roatha & Dorumon move to support Euryale from either side.*

OOC: I thought purple was the color of royalty.

*Everyone's eyes are covered. Lunamon starts waving blindly, almost knocking over Biyomon*

OOC: Bitches don't know how Taoism works. Not like I've made reference to the Five Elements Theory before.

The light fades and the interior of the room is visible a pedestal of wires and steel holding a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] with wires plugged into it.

*Eve and Terriermon head over to investigate the Digimental, Kylie moves to squeeze Aroma's hand*

Kylie:<(Aroma, I think it's friendly.)>

E"Friendly? It's a rock."

A"It actually looks more like a sculpture made out of--"

E"Sculptures are just carved rocks."

*Aroma looks at wherever Kylie is grabbing, as it undoubtedly invades her personal space, as Roatha, Dorumon, & Flamedramon approach the rock.*

Other than keeping the darkness at bay and the trains running on time, it ain't doing anything.

???: "Take the Digimental if you are worthy of its powers. Show me that there is still light in these dark times."

*Flamedramon reaches out.*

E"Don't just take the rock, it might be booby trapped!"

A"This would be a very convoluted trap...."

E"Point taken."

*And so Flamedramon takes the rock.*

*Eve had been reaching out for the digimental, however she pulls back her hand when Flamedramon takes it*

The lights go out for a few minutes before back up power kicks in and everything is red followed by blast doors closing off the hallways.

All is quiet until the sound of something smashing through the doors rings out and keeps getting closer and closer until a Trident Arm tears through the door seperating the generator room from the rest of the facility and rips it open, revealing Machinedramon.

Machinedramon: "Oh good, just what I was looking for. Victims!"

It begins charging a Giga Cannon.

*Aroma, of course, screams & grasps tightly to Taiyo, forcing them to the ground in some vain attempt to find cover. Lalamon forces herself free & Digivolves to Lilamon, blasting him in the face with lasers. Euryale goes straight for the Biomerge, shield blasting the fucker. Dorumon similarly Digivolves to Ultimate & hits him with a big cannonball.*

*Kylie and Dianamon biomerge, then Dianamon shoots at Machinedramon's eyes. Biyomon digivolves to ultimate and uses Feather Flare, while Terriermon golden armor digivolves and fires homing missiles at him*

Unfortunately for Aroma, Taiyo has to let go of her. Fortunately it's to Biomerge and conjure up a shield so they're not vaporized by the Giga Cannon.

Machinedramon tanks the attacks and like a linebacker or Kenyan charges a hell of a lot faster than they'd likely expect something of that size to move.

Sakuyamon, Angewomon, and MagnaAngemon grab Aroma and their partners to avoid them being knocked over like bowling pins.

*Lilamon evades &, upon remembering that she can biomerge, Aroma becomes Rosemon. Gallantmon, on the other hand, decides to try bracing herself behind her shield & retaliating with a stab to the neck while Dorugreymon gets behind it & stabs Machinedramon's ass. Literally. His actual ass.*

*Rapidmon grabs Eve and Roatha then fires his missiles again. Dianamon grabs Cameron then uses Goodnight Moon to try and put Machinedramon to sleep. Karatenmon tries to stab Machinedramon's eyes*

Machinedramon blocks the lance with its Trident Claw and continues pushing Gallantmon despite their valiant attempt at slowing down the juggernaut. Its other arm spins like a drill and Machinedramon stabs at Gallantmon.

Not being caught between a rock and a mechanical terror, the three Digimon move more into the hallway that connects the generator room to rest of the facility and peppers Machinedramon with various projectiles.
