Abyssal Blade Rebellion

*Ports at the arms open up & fire explosive shells at them. They can see a female Crusader walking briskly towards the cliff.*

"If it has a weakness, it's probably at the bottom."

*The 2 Al Bhed tase the shit out of him.*

*He rolls aside, dodging the tasers, and draws his dagger, cutting the wires and then proceeding to slash at the Al Bhed*

"She's definitely up to something."

*Syrona draws her sniper and shoots at the feet of the Crusader to stop her. It's just a warning shot, but she's ready to follow up a fatal shot. Or she was. She had to move from her position to dodge the explosives.*

"Somebody stop that chair!"

Zeno: <On it!>

*He slides through oncoming fire and under the chair, then aims straight at the bottom of it.*

Zeno: <Gotcha!>

*He fires.*

Zephyr protects Luna, "Find Ark. This thing's right up his ally."

*Max starts panicking, running in random directions.*

*The chair spazzes out a bit. Electricity begins to throw from it.*

"That was fairly anticlimactic."

*Flames burst out of the back of it as oil drips onto the ground.*

"I believe I spoke too soon."

Woman<Bah, I've come too far to be stopped now.>

*Once she reaches the cliff, she strikes the pommel of her sword on the rocks, setting a fuse. Luna immediately jumps into action.*

"Max! Calm down, douse the fuse! Zeno, come with me to help Ark! Everyone else, try to get Hitomi out of that thing before it explodes!"

*Having already been tased & taking a metal object to the wires, he is shocked to the brink of unconsciousness, but has successfully destroyed the tasers. The Al Bhed stand over him, drawing their guns & pointing them at him.*

<Cunno.>

*Zeno nods and runs towards Ark haphazardly, then manages to use his running momentum to crouch down and ram into the boy, putting him on his shoulders.*

Zeno: <Yoink!>

*He makes a u-turn and begins running away from the Al-Bhed.*

"On it" Zephyr moves into action running up to the thing and leaping upon it to grab Hitomi.

*Hitomi continues prying at the restraints, looking up with a horrified look on her face 'cause Zephyr looks like a creeper.*

Zephyr busts her out of the restraints and makes a raep face and points, "Don't. run off again. Luna will be mad."

Ark: <(Pedlrac. Oui meddma dnelgo fru--Al Bhed. E lyh'd pameaja drec.)>

"Great! You got her, now get out of there before it blows!"

*Syrona holsters her sniper, draws her dual pistols and chases after the female Crusader that was trying to get away.*

Max: <Uhh....>

*Max calms down and aims his staff at the fuse.*

Max: <Water!>

*A small stream of water shoots out of the staff and heads for the fuse.*

Woman<Of course.>

*She looks over the assembled party, cutting the fuse & re-lighting it.*

Woman<Boys, I think we lost. Best be getting out while the gettin's good.>

*The Al Bhed nod & run for the elevator. Meanwhile, the Crusader slips the active bomb into her armor & draws her sword.*

Woman<Now then....>

*Without further delay, she runs towards Syrona, slashing at her. Meanwhile, the oil catches fire while Zephyr & Hitomi are just inches away from it.*

Ark: <FYED, oui meddma pylgcdyppanc! Lusa rana yht E'mm cruf oui fryd E kud! Cowards! Dammit. So... thanks.>

*He gets off his back*

"Thank you."

*Hitomi jumps off the chair and runs off away from it.*

Zephyr leaps off into a tuck and roll before shit hits the fan on the Machina.

"Whoops!"

*Syrona dives to the side, the Crusader cutting her leg. She lands hard on the ground and flips over, unloading on the Crusader.*

*The woman rolls, heading towards Luna, who is standing near Zeno, Ark, Zephyr, & Hitomi.*

Woman<You undid our plans! You pay the price!>

*Hitomi runs to the back of the group as this isn't Ark, a simple shoe throwing won't do much of anything.*

*Zeno aims at the woman and fires.*

Zephyr stabs at the woman.

*Ark glares at the woman cause she's a goddamn bitch with taser people.*

OOC: WOW. Way to forget the fucking BOMB, everyone.

*Luna quickly jams her spear in the ground, Valefor swooping down from the sky just as the Crusader's bomb explodes, taking them both to the Farplane.*

"Let's get out of here before the Pyreflies clear & we can see the mess."
