Golden Age: Revival

~The Next Day~

*It being an extended weekend, Aiden, Euryale, & Taiyo are on a plane to China. Euryale & Taiyo are sitting next to each other, Euryale with the window seat.*

"How is this machine to get us to China? We're nowhere near the ocean."

*It being an extended weekend, Nero & Allina are on a plane to Hawaii.*

"Man, I can't believe everyone else bailed. Oh well."

*It being an extended weekend, Azuma & Mimiru are on a plane to Russia.*

OOC: I believe I have made a terrible miscalculation.

"You should probably downplay your situation Euryale. Not everyone is as accepting of... well... you know" Aiden said from behind them. He managed to get a row of seats all to himself.

"I wanted the window seat."

Azuma:<Be grateful you're not in the edge seat. Besides if a gremlin begins wripping out the wings circuitry, there'll be someone who can alert everyone without trying to climb through the window.>

"By flying."

*Taiyo lays her head on Euryale's shoulder snuggling up to her.*

Allina: <Hey, at least the creepy stalker is busy... stalking the new girls. It's still going to be lots of fun!>

"Flying? Is it some kind of tamed Fury?"

*As it takes off, Euryale stares out of the window, eyes wide. As she presses her hands to it, it cracks slightly.*

*The plane takes off. Nero folds his hands behind his head, closes his eyes, & puts his feet on the back of the seat in front of him. Some bald guy glares back at them before continuing to read a newspaper.*

"Hey, I'm not complaining."

*As a matter of fact, there is a strange creature on the wing of the plane. It is furry, has large yellow eyes, & staring through the window at them.*

Allina: <I'm kinda hungry. Is food for free too?>

*She looks around in search of a flight attendant*

Aiden's eyes widen and he reaches forward and around the seat to pull her hands from the glass. "D... don't do that."

"You gonna alert anyone?"

Azuma:<And cause a panic? Christ no. I'm gonna wait for the plane to start going down, the oxygen masks to deploy and then I'm going to groove on it.>

"Isn't the being sucked out of a hole in an airplane a myth?"

N"No. We can only by 2 tickets per flight, we can't buy overlapping flights, & she is reimbersed for flights we don't attend. Even she doesn't have limitless money. She must be trying to prevent us from wasting it. Still, it's odd that she'd go to such an extreme. All it takes is quick phone call to revoke her offer."

E"Air...plane...."

*She knocks on the wall.*

E"It reminds me of a pipe. Are we in some kind of machine?"

*She glances at the TV. The in-flight-movie is the Clash of the Titans remake.*

E"Good Gods above, what is that thing?!"

*The creature digs its claws in the wing. Amazingly, a blast of electricity shoots through the creature & into the clouds. Its smoking husk drops into the ocean below.*

*Azuma leans towards the window attempting to catch a glimpse of the creature*

Azuma:<That's unfortunate.>

"You're stupid."

*Mimiru slouches down into her seat crossing her arms over her chest trying to fall asleep.*

"We're in a machine. And that's just a really bad movie."

Allina: <I guess you're right. I'm still pretty hungry though, at least it's not a very long trip. So, what do ya wanna do?>

*She stares at him, humming*

"A really really bad movie" Aiden adds. "Its like a play only captured and recored... and uh... you might want to look away when Medusa dies."

N"Join the Mile High Club."

E"But...Medusa is...already dead...?"

*Because I have nothing more to do with them in the plane, they arrive in Russia.*

*After departing the plane and doing other airport stuff the two exit the building, Azuma with a drawstring bag over his shoulder and Mimiru with a light duffle bag over hers.*

"For someone who wants to travel to different parts of the world you sure seem unprepared to even stay in a city."

Azuma:<I presume you brought soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste, right?>

"Yes."

Azuma:<All my hygiene concerns are met.>

"It's a movie. It shows things that may or may not have happened. They sometimes suck."

*Taiyo curls up in her seat and resumes laying on Euryale's arm.*

"What are we even going to China for anyways?"

"It seemed like a good idea at the time... and what Taiyo said. Though... I almost wish we could stop at my home in the UK. Someone with knowledge of Ancient Greece could really help determining what parts of my collection are genuine and which are fake."

Allina: <I bet we'll be there soon. I can't wait. We should go straight to the beach.>

*Soon after landing in Hawaii, they're on the boardwalk because Nero does not own a bathing suit & neither of the duo had thought to bring sunscreen.*

"Damn it, I wish Euryale was here. I'd much prefer to buy a bathing suit & sunscreen for her."

*They arrive at a small, but nicely kept, hotel run by a kindly looking old woman dressed in an all-black shawl. She smiles at them.*

<So, you'll be needing 2 rooms then, children?>

~In China~

"It's a shame we missed the New Year."

"Yeah."

"One room. Seperate beds."

Azuma:<What? Why?>

"You're paying and I know how much a bum you are."

Azuma:<You're so kind. I guess that'll be one room with seperate beds.>

*Taiyo is holding Euryale's hand*

"We didn't miss the New Year for the rest of the world."

Allina: <You are such a jerk. Whatever, we're going to the beach anyway. We can just swim all day. You can just swim in your underwear.>

*She pulls her hand away, looking offended.*

"I was a rock when the year changed. What is it now, anyway? The 180th Olympiad? The 200th?"

*She looks at them disapprovingly, but gives them the room keys.*

*Nero eventually procures the items they need & they set off towards the beach.*

"Can you believe them? China? RUSSIA?"

Allina: <I know, right? Oh well, we'll just have to have tons of fun to make them all jealous. It's weird though, the two new girls got along well, okay, but why did they let Aiden go with them? I mean, ewwww.>

*Taiyo stares at Euryale looking a tad bit on the scared side*

"I... I don't know."

*Azuma unlocks the door to their room and opens the door.*

Azuma:<Why did I have to pay anyways?>

"Because I don't want you knocking on my door and who knows what time during the day to borrow soap, shampoo, conditioner, and the like.

Azuma:<I'm pretty sure none of that comes anywhere close to the cost of a hotel room.>

"Calm down, I'll cover the cost of other things."

"Uh... I'm not familiar with converting Grecian time standards into modern equivalents. However its been a long time since Athens was in the hight of power, I'll just put it that way."

"You aren't helpful at all. And I'm not going back to that school."

*Euryale turns & runs out of the city they're in.*

*As they're setting up, they're approached by a girl. She's, attractive, about 18 years old with Hawaiian features wearing a sort of simple tied skirt & top, which feature odd red & orange patterns. She has a pronounced bust & a curvy figure, with flowing strands of long, shiny brown hair.*

???<I wouldn't go in the water, if I were you.>

*Nero shoves the sunscreen & his clothes in Allina's hands & holds out his own hand, which the girl shakes.*

"I'm Nero. So, why's that? Want to stay on land with us?"

*After they fall asleep, they both have a dream. At first, they're in a room with the innkeeper. Then a wrecking ball plows through the room, taking her out. In the hole in the wall, they see a large palace being constructed. The wrecking ball turns & heads towards them. They wake up right before it hits them.*
