*Euryale glares at her, then drops her back in her seat. She rubs her throat slightly before clearing it.*

*His roar becomes warped as a torrent of wind pushes them towards the door.*

*The two fight to press forward.*

Aiden smiles, "I'd like to eat your pride and your smug ego then wash it down with a glass of your shattered ambitions. Do you have it on the menu?"

Allina: <I'm pretty sure I can. What nooow?>

<No, but I can purchase it. After all, I have more money than you'll ever see.>

*The floor seems to tilt underneath them, causing them to slide to the door.*

*Mimiru scrambles trying to climb at him while Azuma tries to grab on to something like a space between floor tiles.*

*Taiyo keeps glaring at Thiera.*

"Oh? You think so do you?" Aiden strokes his chin, "Just because I don't throw my wealth and my weight around with high profile stuff like you have doesn't mean I don't have it." Aiden knew he was going to enter a dangerous game at this point. He also knew there was no way she could legally back up her claim. Of course she seemed like the type to do things illegal anyway and for that he had... backup plans.

*As they're walking back to their room, Allina stares at the sky*

Allina: <I have a feeling someone somewhere is lying about not liking to brag about their money right now.>

*She just opens up her account balance on her phone, shows it to him, & watches him shit himself.*

<Anyway, enough talk about money. How has your mini-vaction been? Am I really to believe you came all the way here just to speak to me?>

*Below, part of a mountain falls away, revealing a spire from an ancient ruin.*

*This time, a flood of water comes out of nowhere, washing over them.*

Aiden doesn't even blink, he merely smiles, "Euryale did, we came along for the ride."

*The castle doors lock behind them.*

"Our strength was to guard our sister, ensuring that her curse would remain in place for as long as Athena desired. It was not itself part of the curse, & we were probably allowed to keep it in exchange for our help--even if we didn't intend to help."

<Then wouldn't immortality be a much better gift?>

<Of course. What good are power & riches if I won't be around to enjoy them in a few years?>

*Mimiru slams a fist on the door.*

*Azuma sighs and presses stop on the tape recorder.*

"Guess we're just going to have to find another way in."

*Azuma shakes his head and walks around back, Mimiru following ringing out her hair.*

Mimiru:<And what are we going to do if we find another way in?>

"Ninja shit."

"That's only remotely more selfish than I had estimated you'd be. I find it amusing you're living up to my expectations Ms. Psyche." A long pause, "Do you get tv on your phone?"

<There's a TV above your head, dear.>

"Immortality wasn't uncommon in my day. It won't bring you happiness."

<Happiness I can buy. Immortality isn't cheap.>

*Suddenly, all of the machines below short out & the captain calls out from the front seat.*

Captain<We're losing altitude!>

Thiera<A guardian. I expected as much. This just means we've hit the big one!>

Aiden and Ren move to the windows to seen what's going on.

Mimiru:<You better have another idea.>

"I am not opposed to tunneling in or entering from the roof."

Mimiru:<And how do you suppose we enter from the roof? Climb a storm drain and jump through a skylight hoping we don't die on the way down?>

"It's either try that then go crawling back to Dream Spirit Lady and tell her how much we suck, or we just go back to Dream Spirit Lady and tell her how much we suck. And I really don't want to go back to her just yet."

*The two go about looking for a storm drain.*

Mimiru:<You know I was kidding, right? Right?>

*They find one, but whenever they try to enter it, they get shocked.*

*She was handing parachutes out to all of them. Euryale grabs one of the parachutes she's thrusting out.*

"You know what she meant."

"Looks like we're crawling back to Dream Spirit Lady."

*The two begin heading back to the hotel.*

*Taiyo takes a parachute.*

Aiden and Ren take one.

"I still am mad about missing my date" Ren says to Aiden. Aiden shrugs and offers no response.

*As they parachute out of the mountains, much of the snow in the valley below melts. A towering blue giant of light surrounded by a flaming wheel spreads 6 arms, & the machinery around him explodes instantaneously before he vanishes without a trace. The last thing they see before they land back in China is a few spires sticking out of a jungle that somehow appeared when the snow was melted. When they land, Thiera immediately breaks out into a brisk walk, removing her parachute.*

<Well, if nothing else, I'll have introduced a bit more magic into the world.>

"A guardian, cheers" Aiden throws his parachute off and follows Thiera. Ren groans some more.

Drioma<I told you he used magic to pull out his soul. >

*She listens to the recording.*

Drioma<Hmm...it could be better, but I think you've got enough. At least to give him some problems.>
