Isaac backs off enough so that he can create his own ground crater sending debris flying at Longinus while Lune attacks from the flank with another barrage of blade like wind.

*Mimiru stares at the brick oatmeal*

"You ever wonder what would happen if a regular person ate this crap?"

[That's a real nice sword. Not liking what it's pinned to, but what are the odds of it being alive? Don't really have a way of getting it though.]

*Azuma gets to his feet, the ice melting.*

"Looks like we're the Dynamic Duo today."

[If only I knew how this magic thing worked. Might as well wing it.]

*Azuma circles around Longinus attempting to keep at least some distance. Taiyo backs away holding the lance defensively.*

*Allina stares between them and Euryale and holds the sweater in place after Taiyo goes to murder the bad man, just in case.*

Allina: <Kill him with fire! Or ice and water, in this particular case.>

[Great. Now everyone can cast magic but me.]

*She stares back to Euryale's wound and a small flash of light blinds her momentarily. A pair of small tufts of feathers made of light emerge from her back as strings of blue light swirl around the wound, healing it.*

OOC: Considering it's coiled around a pillar, although it's 100 feet long, it's probably only about 20 feet up.

*The debris & wind blades continue bouncing off of his torso. Ignoring this, he charges Taiyo to stab her.*

*She stands up and holds her hands out towards the dude.*

Allina: <You die now!>

*Taiyo steps back and stabs at Longinus. Azuma charges at him, water vapor in the air forms and freezes into a block of ice that falls on Longinus' head.*

Lune braces the wind around Longinus's legs like a vacuum to immobilize him while Isaac moves to attack from behind him with a straight punch.

<Shit!>

*Longinus hurls his blade at Azuma, then falls over after attacks from all sides, the glow fading from around him & the cross shattering.*

N"Don't order me around!"

*The wolf stands up on 2 legs, its limbs getting longer & its hair shorter. It sprouts a coat & gradually becomes Schwarz.*

<Oh no, it's Dracula!>

*She pulls out the diary & hands it to him.*

*Mimiru hurls the bowl of guck at Schwarz, so the goop os towards him.*

*Azuma drops to the ground. Taiyo plants the lance in Longinus' chest then repeatedly stabs him with it.*

Isaac takes the other lance he held, "Feels... familiar...."

Ren is useless as always so he grabs Stheno by the hand, gently, "We should run now."

*Euryale grabs Taiyo's hand & stops her from doing that.*

"I want that armor."

*She bends down & undoes his armor, putting it on herself. Once she's done, Longinus stands up.*

"Holy shit, he's still alive?"

<Were it not for my status as a Saint, I wouldn't be. I know I can't beat you, but I can at least make sure none of us makes it out of the underworld's antechamber alive!>

*He hurls the spear at the sword in the snake, knocking it loose. As it falls out, the snake's wounds close & it opens its eyes, writhing around & roaring.*

*The goop hits him in the chest & slides down his coat. Roatha slashes at him & he blocks with the gun. Nero moves from the other side to stab him, but he forms a katana in midair & blocks that too.*

R"Is that...Senthose's?!"

<I neither know nor care who that is.>

*Stheno follows Ren into the jungle. They are both surely going to die.*

Ren only takes her far enough so that they are out of the crossfire. "We should wait here till its safe. If worse comes to worse we can run more."

*She runs back towards the wall they climbed down and stares at the monster from there.*

*Ari arrives at the room and sits down on the bed readin the diary.*

*Longinus, who turned out to be wearing dress underclothes under his armor, digs some chains out of his pocket. He starts toward the enormous snake, who is now sprouting wings of light along his body. On the other side of the cave, the panther awakens, standing up & stretching in that way cats do.*

<The mighty Quetzacoatl, Guardian of the ley lines here! My mission in coming here has always been to open the way to the underworld, where I sealed him long ago, & retrieve him, now that we have the means.>

*Roatha sends a shock through his arm, causing him to fire a bullet into a tree & drop the gun.*

Allina: <This would be a mighty good time to get out of he--Oh right, we're no longer in South America. Or something. That's great. Azuma, we believe you can do it! Kill the big bad snake!>

Lune launches a wave of wind blades at Longinus to knock the chains out of his hands.

"Well you can ignore what I said, now."

*Mimiru makes a dash for Schwarz.*

*Taiyo jabs at Longinus while Azuma runs to retrieve the sword.*

*Schwarz kicks Roatha into Mimiru. Nero kicks Schwarz into a tree.*

*The panther pounces on the chains, grabbing them in its teeth. Quetzacoatl smashes its pillar & swallows Longinus whole as falling rocks glance off of it.*

"There's no way we'll be able to climb back up!"

*Mimiru stops and plants her feet into the ground to catch Roatha.*

"Did you happen to kill that vampire you said you fought?"

Lune looks at the panther trying to figure out if its the shapeshifter coyote from before or not and just decides to ask it, "You, panther, whatever your proper name is, are you the one that helped me from before?"

"Lune's gone daft!" Isaac says as he knocks an errant rock away from his head.

Allina: <How could the panther have helped him when it's been here the whole time? We need to find a way up, fast!>

"If we could climb, we could at least get out of here!"

*The panther dashes up the wall, lowering the chain's length down it. Quetzacoatl draws its head level with Azuma, staring into his eyes.*

"Not exactly. Lilith did after Thiera did some magic shit that made the moon as bright as the sun."

*Schwarz stretches out his arm, grabbing the gun.*

"Now's your chance to do what you couldn't do before!"

*Mimiru pushes Roatha forward and runs around him towards Schwarz to kick the gun away.*

*Azuma looks away and shields his eyes with the sword*

[It wouldn't come as a surprise if it could hypnotize me or put me in a trance before eating me.]

Lune waits for the group to begin climbing before he does so himself. "If anyone falls I can use my wind as an air cushion."
