Heathen Frolic

Ark: <I've heard this story and I didn't like the ending! There's no way I'm following him up the tricky mountain.>

"I agree with Ark. This is his home turf, I don't think it is wise to let him dictate the setting of the fight."

*Not doing anything until a decision is made, Hitomi glances towards Belias as he moves up the mountain.*

Ark: <Luna, is Valefor in condition to fight?>

"He's certainly in condition to be Banished. Look, whether we like it or not, we have to face Belias to get to Zanarkand. We don't really have a choice, at this point."

Ark: <I really only needed her to take me up there so I could get the first hit, but you're the Summoner. Let's run up the mountain! (And die.)>

*He runs after Belias.*

Ingrid sighed, "Whatever you want, Luna." She said going into a light run after the Ronso.

*As they run up the mountain, they find Belias on a narrow path that prevents them from outflanking him. Having just finished inhaling, he holds up a claw & lightning bolts stab down towards Hitomi & Ingrid.*

*Ark takes the chance to dash forward and double slash him across the chest.*

*Hitomi casts Reflect on herself.*

Ingrid already has Reflect cast upon herself so she uses fira on Belias.

*After taking a slew of spells & attacks, Belias breathes fire at them all, which burns them through Reflect. He then casts Reflect on himself, & bounces a pair of fireballs off of himself at Luna & Hitomi, while slashing at Ark with a claw.*

*Ark jumps away from Belias to evade the attack and charges back at him with his dagger.`*

*Hitomi runs off out of the fireballs path and reflects Osmose off herself.*

Ingrid gets out of the way of the fire as well, and reflects Drain off herself.

*Belias inhales & shoots Ark with a fireball.*

*Hitomi reflects Thundara off herself.*

Ingrid reflects fira off herself.

*Ark ducks and punches at the enemy's crotch before stabbing the dagger into his left leg.*

*He kicks Ark & bathes the path in Stone Breath.*

Ingrid, already backed away from Belias, backs away even further to get away from the stone breath, reflecting fira off herself in the process.

*Hitomi backs further down the path, reflecting Drain off herself.*

*Once Ark is turned to stone, Luna advances to take his place. Belias looks over himself. There are burns where most of his fur should be & he's bleeding out of the mouth & leg. Seeing this, he decides to reflect Curaga off of Hitomi.*

<Looks like we're all out of magic power.>

*He grabs Luna's spear as she swings it at him.*

<The difference is, I'm still a Ronso Warrior with dozens of Ronso Rages and the power of Banish, whereas you are all considerably less than that.>

He has point... Ingrid thought, using an Ether on herself, then reflecting another fira spell at Belias.

*Hitomi reflects Drain off herself followed by casting Esuna on Ark. The Esuna is accompanied by her mumbling "Stupid thief" under her breath.*
