Golden Age: Revival

Mimiru:<I'm never going anywhere near water with you people again!>

Allina: <Stupid boat and stupid shadow thing.>

*Allina gets up and tries to dust herself off the best she can.*

N"If I didn't know better, I'd say someone or something is trying to kill us all."

Allina: <(You are a genius. A genius.)>

*She randomly looks around and distractedly stares at Euryale's boobs.*

"With observation skills like that, you should look into becoming a detective."

R"Really, the only mystery is how they haven't succeeded yet."

Allina: <We're like superheroes.>

*Just as she bends her knees to dart into the sky, she realizes her wings are gone.*

Allina: <Oh.>

"It would seem we lost our shit, so they might succeed next time around."

*At that moment, Roatha's weapon suddenly appears in his hand & Nero finds his own under a horseshoe crab's shell. Shortly afterwards, Taiyo's spear flies towards her, stopping just short of impaling her face.*

N"Well, most of us got our shit back, anyway."

E"And I'm already wearing my armor."

N"What? How did you not drown?"

*Euryale shrugs.*

*Taiyo shuts her eyes and cringes as the spear comes flying at her. Opening one eye to see it stopped, she goes around it before grabbing it. Mimiru slaps Azuma on the shoulder*

Mimiru:<Don't feel bad. That thing was making you weak anyways. Weaker.>

"What? That "thing" was pretty damn heavy."

Allina: <Great. So now we can get going and find another way to go home?>

Stheno<Ahh, not again!>

*Stheno is pointing to the partially-buried ruins of what is unmistakably a step pyramid. Soon, a tall, muscular man in a travelling cloak, his head wrapped in a turban appears. He's lazily swinging Azuma's sword with a few fingers.*

???<Hey! Did somebody lose a sword? I thought it might've been mine, but no.>

"Where the Hell did you come from?"

???<What? I teleported through the ley line, of course. You must do it all of the time.>

*Azuma puts his hand up.*

"I did. I lost a sword."

Allina: <What the hell is he talking about?>

*He tosses the sword at Azuma.*

???<Whelp, see ya!>

R"Hey, wait!"

???<Whaaaaat?>

R"What's a 'ley line'?"

???<Magic moving deep underneath the Earth's crust. They connect one place to the next. Now I really gotta go this time!>

*The man steps on top of the pyramid & disappears in a flash of light.*

*Azuma steps back so the sword lands on the ground then picks it up.*

"Did... Did he expect me to catch this?"

R"He does think we can teleport all the way back to Austral--."

*Roatha sinks his sword into part of the pyramid & everyone's blinded by a bright flash of light. When they can see again, they're standing beside Ayers Rock.*

R"--ia."

*Of course, from Luna's vantage point, it looks like an assorted group of weirdos just appeared out of nowhere, including what looks to be a large-busted Amazon goddess & a badly dressed schoolgirl with a large bident spear.*

"That can not have any good side-effects."

Luna really has not idea why she is in the middle of no where looking at Ayers Rock. She has a mental blank and then remembers that she had come up for a family funeral and had come out to have a look at the landmark.

"I wonder who the hell they are?" Luna was sitting in the car, putting large amounts of sunscreen on her legs and face, as they were the only uncovered areas of her body, "I don't think I'll go near them... they look crazy."

*The kid in the red jacket reaffirms her suspicions by shouting, "Yeah, we saved Euryale's sister from giant snake monsters, gun-toting vampires, & dark shapes in the ocean!"*

Luna frowns, then begins driving away.

Mimiru:<(Is he supposed to be talking to someone?)>

"(I don't know.)"

Taiyo:<Can we go home? I kind of want to wash the sea water from my hair.>

Allina: <Uluru! Let's climb it! Or not.>

*Nero rushes to the road & jerks his thumb out, trying to hitchike with Luna.*

N"Euryale! Get over here?"

E"Why?"

N"It'll help!"

*Euryale shrugs & walks over. Of course, Nero is unaware that the driver is female, & so a 6' bronze-skinned redhead who looks like she's smuggling cantelopes will only help if she's a lesbian.*

Taiyo:<No exploiting Euryale!>

*Taiyo runs over and clings to Euryale.*

"We'd be better off walking, wouldn't we?"

Mimiru:<Probably.>

*Mimiru takes her sweater off and begins to shake it out. Remembering her tank top is white she immediatly holds her sweater in front of her chest.*

Mimiru:<Turn around, asshole!>
