Golden Age: Revival

Allina: <But I never said anything about Little Euryale. She's cute.>

*She pokes Mimiru in the back of her head.*

Allina: <Pay attention!>

Luna put the window down again, "Hurry please! I haven't got all day."

*Euryale climbs into the middle seat, Roatha into the right. Stheno sits up front.*

*Taiyo sits in the left seat.*

"I'm not one to take safety into consideration, but aren't children supposed to sit in the middle?"

Allina: <(So do I try and fly after the car without creeping the driver out or not?)>

"Okay, do up your seat belts and we'll get out of here" Luna spoke as she revved the engine and turned the car off the side of the road into a lane, then set off.

*Euryale & Roatha just kind of sit there.*

R"What is a seatbel--"

E"Don't say it. Just don't."

*Taiyo reaches over Euryale and takes her seatbelt*

"This thingy which goes into this thingy."

*She puts Euryale's seatbelt in the whatever the other part is called then buckles herself up.*

Luna's eyes narrowed somewhat, What the hell is with these people? How can you not know what a seatbelt is?... This is just getting weird...er.
"Do you guys want the air con. on?"

E"What?"

R"I think it's a retarded way of saying 'air conditioner.'"

E"Oh. Sure."

Luna sighed inwardly, "Where are you guys from?"
She reached down and turned on the air conditioner to half.

Mimiru:<That must be the most awkward drive ever.>

"Because three of them are from different points in time or because of that Taiyo, Euryale, Unwashed Weird love triangle?"

Mimiru:<Both, but learning more towards the former.>

"The unnamed town you're taking us to?"

N"...Have we been ditched?"

R"Camelot. ...Err...that's what we call it. 'Cause. You know. It's old. And run down. And shit."

"It's a town called Katherine, it's pretty backwater and in the middle of nowhere, but from there you can call for someone to pick you up and get you back home" Luna explained, "I'd like to know how you got up there, on top of Ayers Rock..."

"It would appear so."

Allina: <We're not going to stand around just talking, are we? Gimme a minute to...>

*She looks at her back over her left shoulder, leaning forward a bit in an attempt to form wings.*

Allina: <...Hmmm...>

"Well, you were at Ayers Rock anyway" Luna corrected herself, "How did you get there? What were you doing?"

R"Well...."

E"Hey."

R"What?"

E"We're in the middle of nowhere, aren't we?"

R"Yeah, so?"

E"So, no one would see if something crazy started to happen."

R"Are you suggesting we steal this woman's car? 'Cause I don't know how to drive."

E"No, not us, I mean--"

*They hear a loud banging noise. Stheno squeals. Looking in her rear view, Luna can see that some jackass hobo-looking guy with long, black hair & a black trench coat is somehow maintaining a run that keeps him just behind the car. He fires another shot out of his handgun & she has some trouble maintaining direction, one of the back wheels having just been shot. Roatha is on his knees & staring out the back window like some kind of idiot.*

R"Didn't he get cut in half, or something? Why doesn't he just leave us the Hell alone, already?"

"So I'm thinking of walking back or at least walking somewhere. Does anyone share that idea or have a better one?"

Allina: <I'm in, let's go!>

*She finally grows yellowish light wings.*

Allina: <Awesome!>

"What the hell?! Get down!" Luna slammed on the brakes and swung the car around while keeping her head just below the dashboard. When the car came to to a stop she pulled a small revolver out from the back of her belt and threw open the door, leaning slightly out and aiming the gun at this hobo guy.
"What's going on, people?"

*Seeing the gun, Schwarz stays where he is.*

R"That's some asshole who's trying to kill us, but I didn't expect him to be back on his feet & here in Australia so soon. He DID get cut in half. He's a vampire, you see. But his powers shouldn't be as effective in the middle of the day, so he must think we're more vulnerable than he is."

E"He is mistaken."

R"I brought a sword to a gun fight, Taiyo brought a spear, & you brought nothing. I don't think we're winning."

N"Where on Earth would we walk TO?"

Allina: <There are supposed to be many small villages scattered across the ouback. We may be able to find one and ...I don't know, rent a car? Either way, I really don't feel like just standing here until a dingo eats us. Lemme see if I can spot a village.>

*She darts upwards into the sky and looks around.*

"Civilization, that's where. At least until we die of exposure."
