Golden Age: Revival

"Terrible sorry. I didn't think you had some sort of attatchment to either of them. I figured that attatchment was reserved for Roatha. At least until Euryale arrived on the scene."

*Taking note of Mimiru glaring at him and possibly about the hit him her turns towards the door and heads for it.*

"I suppose we should head back. They might be getting more impatiant."

Luna got into her car and sat there for about 10 minutes before cleaning away the bird defecation and continuing her drive.

R"Hey. You guys get the fuel?"

*Senthose's body was now mostly obscured by dry brush.*

Mimiru:<Yes.>

*Mimiru points towards the bottles Allina's holding.*

Allina: <Right here!>

*Allina stops glaring at Azuma for the first time since they left the metalshop to smile to the group.*

Allina: <We were ambushed by a weird panther monster thing that is apparently the one or like the one that killed Aidaac and whatshisname. Azuma is also about to get punched by Mimiru.>

*She turns to Mimiru and widens her eyes, tilting her head.*

Allina: <Pretty please.>

Mimiru:<I do not administer discipline by request. It's not special that way.>

Allina: <Fine, but don't complain when Azuma shows everyone the pictures he was taking of you the other day.>

"If you're going to lie at least try to be convincing."

Mimiru:<It would be difficult for him to try anything involving sneaking around when we've been stuck as a group for who knows how long.>

*Allina glares at Azuma.*

Allina: <Good point. It's okay though, it's a matter of time.>

*She cracks her knuckles.*

R"Who?"

N"Probably no one important."

*Roatha takes the fuel, douses the body, & points the sword at it. A spark ignites the gasoline.*

E"That panther followed us halfway across the world. Someone must have sent it after us."

Allina: <Someone being Thiera or that weird russian guy everyone keeps talking about or whoever sent the vampire dude, provided it wasn't option A or B doing that too.>

"I doubt it was Thiera. The Russian perhaps, but there's also everyone else in their secret club."

R"We need to find out more about this secret club. Maybe we should force Thiera to tell us."

E"Like with violence?"

R"I was thinking blackmail, but it's not like she can fight us anymore."

"And how do you intend to go about blackmailing her? I don't think there are many people who will take the word of a bunch of meddling kids and their golden retriever over some billionaire. Especially when we... Do either of you even have anything that could be used against her? Besides fists."

Taiyo:<I kind of like Euryale's idea better.>

Allina: <Well, she kidnapped Roatha. Kind of. Maybe she did that to other old people too. Wait, I mean ancient people... Hmm. I like the hitting idea too.

N"Of course you like Euryale's idea. I still think this idea is stupid, but if we're going to England, there's a plane at 6 AM, one at noon, another at 6 PM, & a last one at midnight."

R"Couldn't we just use that teleportation trick?"

N"I don't think so. We aren't really sure how to steer it, or where exactly we can get off at."

R"Steering is surprisingly easy. As for getting off, we could always go for obvious locations, like Stonehenge."

"Which would have less complications? I can't imagine airport security is going to let a rag tag band of teenagers enter the airport with an arsenal of medieval weapons without special documents."

Allina: <Teleportation it is then! To England!>

N"We do have a slight problem, though: Stonehenge is still 90 miles away from London."

"We could try hitch hiking again. It can't be as bad as the first time."

Mimiru:<Whatever happened to that strange woman?>

"Probably dead."

Allina: <I'd hate to be an Aidaac but I have relatives in London that might be able to pick us up at Stonehenge, if you want.>

N"That'd work, but we may as well go home & get some sleep first. It's 6 in the morning."

R"What about timezone differences?"

N"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Fuck."

R"And we might want to say we're leaving & then not actually teleport for a while. I mean, they probably think we're coming by plane."

*Allina takes out her phone and presses a few buttons.*

Allina: <London is 9 hours behind us. Which means it's 9pm there right now.>

R"So then we call & say we'll be there tomorrow."

Allina: <All righty then, I'll get to it.>

*She raises the phone to her right ear and waits for a few seconds, whistling.*

Allina: <Hello? Hi, grandpa! Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. ...They're fine too. Yeah, yeah, I think he's in Paris or something right now, I haven't talked to him much lately. ...Okay, gotcha. So, grandpa, me and some friends are flying to England over the night. Haha, yeah. We're...going on some expedition, we're being taken from the airport straight to Stonehenge, but we needed your help getting back to London afterwards. Yeah!? So...>

~A few minutes later~

Allina: <...Sure, lunch. I'll ask them. Now I gotta go, I'll see you tomorrow. What? No, he isn't coming. Why? Well, I don't know. Fine, I'll ask him. I'll text you later. See you soon, hugs!>

*She presses a button and stares at the screen for a few seconds.*

Allina: <And.. 12 dollars. It could be worse, I guess. So guys, it's settled. Someone will pick us up at Stonehenge and drive us to London. I need to make another phone call soon... I guess.>
