Golden Age: Revival

*Allina stares at Stheno.*

Allina: <...Euryale, can I talk to you for a second?>

"This has to be the worst person we've ever met. The worst living person that is."

*Euryale shrugs & follows Allina.*

R"We haven't met any ghosts. Or do you mean of the people we've killed?"

N"Will you not talk like that?"

R"What? In my day, murder was no big deal. Some farmer got axed every 3 days. Granted, a lot of that was probably because Mordered was being a prick, but still."

*Allina takes a few steps away from the group.*

Allina: <(So, this might a stupid idea, but my parents have an empty apartment near our house. They never go there, and I have a copy of the keys. So if you want, you and Stheno can stay there. I can help you clean up first. Yeah. If you want.)>

"Those crazy whatever a Mordred is and there dislike of serfs."

Mimiru:<Maybe Mordred was a spider-demon like Mordred Deschain.>

E"Hmm...I dunno. Let me think about it & get back to you, okay?"

*She rejoins the group.*

R"He was King Arthur's son. The douchebag son. Tom was alright. Anyway, he wanted the Throne, so he gathered up a group of traitors, whom he tested by ordering them to do things for him. Things that they wouldn't want to come to light. For instance, the vampire I had fought back then had been ordered to kill my parents. But he's...no, no he's not. I remember now! King Arthur was afraid he'd come back as a ghost and seek revenge, so he came up with a plan to send him to the Underworld, but he said he wouldn't technically be dead! Maybe HE'S behind all of this!"

E"But it's virtually impossible to escape from the Underworld. In my culture, only Heracles did it without help."

R"But...I thought it was a good idea...."

"Maybe there's more than one Underworld and he was sent to one that doesn't involve some gates and a river."

Mimiru:<You don't actually believe that, do you?>

"I honeslty don't know what to believe anymore. If someone said Santa Claus was real I'd probably believe them at this point."

Allina: <Sure.>

*She stares at Azuma, frowning.*

Allina: <He probably does. Isn't that awesome!?>

"No. No, it isn't."

"So....." Luna sighs, utterly lost, "How about you get the police to check out this 'vampire' guy? And other stuff..."
She wished she had never met this bunch of lunatics.

"Yeah that'll work wonders. 'Hey, officer, we were just shot at by a vampire. Please help us.' Nero will be questioned first and since the lot of us are walking around with weapons, we'll be detained."

"Not my problem" Luna was tired of them all already, and decided to walk away.

Allina: <I told you she was weird. We showed her a vampire and I even showed her light wings... kinda. What kind of stupid person wouldn't believe it after that?>

Luna stopped and turned around, a very tired expression on her face, "Are you stupid or something? I've just been told that a hell of a lot of stuff practically no one has ever believe in exists and that you're some sort of super heroes. It's not too believable, a hoax maybe"

"Roatha could shoot a lightning bolt. If that's not good enough Euryale's little sister could probably beat you up."

Mimiru:<I could beat you up. It won't prove anything except I can beat you up.>

*Allina finally manages to grow actual light wings on her back and floats upward, hovering above the ground and glaring at Luna.*

Alllina: <No, I just said you're the one who's stupid.>

R"Actually, when I was shot, there was an investigation, but they couldn't find anything. This guy's a professional."

*The ground starts to shake violently.*

N"That can't be good."

"But will our new, stupid friend believe this is happening?"

Allina: <Those who think this isn't just a normal eathquake raise... Yeah, it isn't even really necessary.>

*Of course she doesn't actually feel much shaking, floating above the ground and all.*

"Earthquake?!" Luna is shaken off her feet for a moment but stops herself from falling by leaning on a telegraph pole.

Allina: <Yes, weird girl. Earthquake.>

*A snake rolls by them. Literally rolls. It had bitten its tail & turned itself into a makeshift wheel.*

N"Okay."

*A second later, a smaller tremor occurs, right before the ground under Allina gives way. As she looks down, she sees a circular mouth ringed with hundreds of little teeth as a giant worm rises from the depths underneath her.*

"This is a good way to get someone to get someone to believe their wild stories."

*Taiyo hangs on to Euryale's arm, pointing at the monster.*

Taiyo:<What is it?>

Allina: <Oh, freaking ugly!>

*She darts aside and hovers next to Nero.*

Allina: <Kill it!>

Luna is holding onto a telegraph pole with both arms and sees the worm-thing coming up to eat Allina and her eyes widen, the hair on the back of her neck standing up and a bead of sweat running into her eyebrow.
"W-wha" She is lost for words, and then all she thinks to do is pull her pistol out from her belt and begin firing sloppily with one hand at it.
