Golden Age: Revival

*Allina grabs a pillow and swings it at the spider trying to knock her out the window.*

Allina: <Ahhhh!!!>

*The glass shakes a little. The spider hisses from the other side, but doesn't fall.*

"A gorgon? Look, no one can patrol the ENTIRE border."

"That's what fences, walls, and spotlights are for."

Mimiru:<How big is this snake?>

*She abruptly opens the window. Just as she does this, spherical barrier bursts from her body, pushing anything nearby back.*

E"Looks to be about 10 feet."

R"Why are we still standing here?!"

*The second the spider hits the ground, it starts shooting hairs out of it ass at her, but the wind blows them away. The spider is scooted a few feet & then, horrifyingly, starts to push through the wind across the balcony towards them.*

Allina: <I think it's a teenage mutant ninja spider. I'm not kidding.>

*She steps back and runs to meet the others, whistling.*

Allina: <Until we meet again, araña!>

"Because our priorities are really out of order."

*Taiyo shuts the window because why not then joins the rest wearing the same thing she was wearing when everyone decided to meet at her house only in blue instead of I think I said white.*

Taiyo:<Spider's gone, Mimi.>

Mimiru:<Sh... Shut up.>

R"We have to flee the country. I never thought I'd say this, but we need Nero."

E"Can we keep the snake?"

Mimiru:<No, let's leave him here.>

"Wouldn't it be easier to just call up Thiera? I'm sure she's more than capable of arranging a way for us to flee the country."

Taiyo:<No, she sucks. I hate her!>

Allina: <We need to flee the country because of the spider?>

*She steps into the room and looks around, widening her eyes like "...Oh."*

E"I don't want Thiera trying to get her hands on Stheno somehow."

R"If that's what she wanted, don't you think she'd have sent people here herself?"

E"I'd rather not take the chance. Besides, it took us almost a full day to get here. Thiera's even farther away than we were."

Allina: <Yeah, rich lady sucks. We could get fake IDs and dye our hair. It'd be awesome. I want pink highlights. Or we could pull an Aidaac...>

*She widens her eyes and looks away from the, shutting them.*

Allina: <...And call someone asking for help.>

Mimiru:<Sent someone like that vampire prick? Unless there are others who are out to do whatever to Euryale and her siblings, who else would have sent him?>

E"Maybe that 'Saint Longinus' guy? I got the impression that he wasn't with Thiera. He had too many magical items that she'd surely want for herself."

"It honestly felt like he was just tossed in to justify Taiyo getting some lance. Of course he could have been involved with the Council of Doom that was in Russia."

Taiyo:<Shouldn't we talk about this somewhere else?>

Allina: <...We're... okay.>

*She puts her hands by the necklace in a circle, drawing in strings of light from the window.*

Allina: <Let's go then.>

*A few minutes later, they're in the hall with Nero, who is pulling on his coat as he walks.*

N"Border patrol in Brazil is actually pretty serious. They even have the army & air force on it. 'Course, I can think of a way to bypass all of that bullshit."

OOC: My internet went poof.

Allina: <We're in Brazil? I thought we were in Peru or Argentina or something like that.>

"There's that brain parasite I mentioned earlier."

*Azuma adjusts the sleeve to his sweater.*

Mimiru:<How many of those do you have?>

"One for each day of the week. Good thing too. The one I wore here was wrapped around Euryale's leg and at this point it's probably covered in all kinds of dried blood."

*Taiyo had resumed her usual place latched on to Euryale's arm. She briefly glances at the leg Euryale was stabbed in.*

Taiyo:<So what's your plan, Blacky?>

"When's the last time you saw border patrol at a beach?"

"Never. When was the last time you've never seen the coast guard near a beach?"

*Allina glares at Azuma while trying to remember his name.*

"So, the point is, we're gonna get a small boat or raft or something, & sail up to another country."

Allina: <Sounds good... I guess. Can we go to the USA and get fake ID cards? Most of us will probably die on the way there, and the rest--me and a couple others--will be lucky if they don't get arrested, but it could work.>

"I'm curious as to how you intend to acquire a boat. You're either going to rent one which I don't think you'll do or you'll try and steal one which I'm sure you'll try to do."
