I read the raw this morning. I was planning to ask you guys what you thought of it, too.

When he got stabbed in the chest, I totally called it being Rukia.

I loved it when that guy used the big blade to impale that other guy and everyone thought the impaled dude died, but really didn't and ended up going all DBZ in a whathefuck moment.

It's okay, I'm sure a lot of the regulars forgot & are now crying bullshit over that exact same thing, but:

Bleach features Soul Anatomy. If you hit someone in the heart, you don't necessarily kill them, you might just be piercing their Chain of Fate, which is often used to take away or give powers.

Not that Ichigo hasn't survived being pierced in his ACTUAL heart, but that's a different story.

He's a main character. He can't die. And if he does he comes back after a secret training arc.

pretty much literal in this case cause if he dies, barring getting eaten, he'll just come back as a regular old shinigami unless he bites it in his shinigami state.

I'm not really clear on what happens if a Soul Reaper dies while in another body.

Which reminds me, I don't think Ichigo ditched his body.

This whole arc is yet another way for Kubo to justify speeding up the transformation sequence, isn't it?

Most of the espada cept Grimmjow cause we still don't know whats up with him and Harribel who got healed, with her fraccion, offscreen by Orihime.

Is it really "offscreen" if he makes a whole chapter for it?

Its in Unmasked and in light novel form from what I understand of the translation of it I read (not on the wikia) so technically off screen by not being in the manga itself but still on screen in the sense that its canon just in another source.

It's a short story. Ulquiorra gets a chapter.

After watchhing the latest episode in the crap filler, I decided to check in on the place. The highlights:

Some new guy mopping the floor with BM's ass in a topic about fillers, while the best he can come up with for a defense is a summary of the Bount Arc. No, really. In describing why Kariya had good character development, all he did was recite his past like he was taking a verbal exam. Also, an excerpt:

Remember when Ginjo slipped & called Ichigo "Kurosaki" after he was re-eviled? Well, they've taken that, & now have spun it into Isshin's real name isn't Kurosaki, & he's from some kind of ancient lineage of nobility & possibly related to the Shibas.

What bullshit is this?

Also I give props to this filler for keeping the animation quality up and not sucking quite as hard as all the other fillers.

No on all counts. It's only good right now because it's the last few episodes. Until Part 2, which I highly expect to happen.

It's one of the few semi-decent things about the arc.

Nothing there surprises me, but I'll address the last part.

They've been pushing the Shiba/ Kurosaki link for-fucking-ever. Since Kaien.

Not sure how Ginjou points to that in any way whatsoever, but, well, is it really a shock that something on Bleach Forums makes no fucking sense? That IS the place that gave birth to the Aizen likes Fire, and Masaki is the Soul King theories, so really, I'm not surprised to find out they'd come up with some more epileptic trees.
