Indeed. I think the worst thing is this idiotic "new arc is good" thing. Although it does make me feel better about liking the Fake Karakura Town Arc, because it's clear that all anyone REALLY liked about the Soul Society Arc was the fights.

I like the Arrancar arc, I just don't like it more than the SS arc, or the Agent arc. SS had that cold war/ civil war feel (though it never followed through), and Agent was new and exciting, and I doubt any new arc will be able to recapture that feeling.
