Digital Mayhem

*Black War Greymon comes back down on Mummymon with the Black Tornado.*

{While he's down!}

B<Lightning Javelin!>

*He fires it at the Mummymon as Black War Greymon leaps into the air & prepares a Terra Destroyer.*

*Mummymon struggles to its feet while firing wildly and flees into the warehouse, BlackMetalGarurumon following.*

{Bullshit! Come here so I can kill you!}

*S/he crushes the energy ball & flies into the warehouse, MegaSeadramon following him/her, Tsune following behind.*

*The warehouse is illuminated by fluorescent lights and crates of varying size are stacked inside. Behind them is a loud thud and the sound of the door locking as Mummymon shuts them in.*

{Well, I guess there's nowhere to escape to now. You're real smart.}

*S/he raises her arms & resumes charging Terra Destroyer.*

*Mummymon raises its Obelisk and fires at BlackWarGreymon's chest. BlackMetalGarurumon fires nose lasers at Mummymon. Its bandages burned, and data leaking from multiple points it begins to stagger away around a stack of shipping crates firing from its Obelisk which it struggles to hold.*

{And come to think of it, we're Mega level. We can just bust through the door.}

B<...I'm not Mega level.>

{You are in my book, sweetie.}

*Black War Greymon fires the Terra Destroyer at it.*

*The Terra Destroyer hits it sending it against a wall which it then somehow bounces off of and lands with a thump behind the shipping crates. From behind the crates comes a bright light and BlackMetalGarurumon readies themselves to charge.*

BlackMetalGarurumon:<"That's not a good thing.">

*The light fades and this monster flies up. It cringes and then releases a shockwave that shatters the lights leaving all but BlackMetalGarurumon in darkness.*

Tae: <Silphymon looks so cool.>

[Patamon hasn't gotten Ultimate yet either... or he hadn't, last I saw Allina and him. I wonder how they're doing.]

Veemon&Patamon: <<What?!>>

Allina: <I didn't even know there were DigiDestined before us. What happened to them?>

*Everything goes silent for a moment then within the fog is a bright flash of light which soon fades and the silence returns. Following a low growling, a fireball plows into Silphymon's chest.*

Zarek:<It's never come up till' now. I imagine it doesn't matter too much. And I'd assume after their adventure concluded they went on with their lives. The lot of them would be in their forties by now.>

Allina: <So that was like 30 years ago?>

Patamon: <And...they just left their Digimon behind?>

Veemon: <I'm not liking this story.>

*Silphymon groans, falling back, but flies back upwards and shoots a Top Gun at Triceramon before darting towards the location of the flash of light.*

*Instead of the Triceramon, Silphymon sees this mean looking bastard in its place and it pounces.*

Zarek:<They didn't have much of a choice. And at this point anyways they'd have died, been converted into raw data, and recycled. Or so I thought.>

Patamon: <Now it's a horror story.>

Veemon: <Shut up or I'll bite your feet off!>

Allina: <Can you tell us everything?>

*Silphymon shoots a barrage of Top Guns at it after darting backwards.*

*Dinorexmon avoids the majority of the attacks and dashes after Silphymon spitting another fireball at them.*

Zarek:<I could, but it's not at all relevent to current situation.>

Allina: <What else can we do?>

*Silphymon sends an energy clone flying into the fireball and shoots a Top Gun at the enemy.*

*The fireball breaks apart and scatters about landing on the ground in multiple pieces with a splatter where it continues to burn. Dinorexmon charges Silphymon and jumps, digging its claws into them and proceeds to maul them.*

Zarek:<Wait patiently for the rest. Maybe soak in some sun. I'd avoid going in the water.>

Patamon: <I'm scared to ask why.>

Allina: <Why?>

*Tae grabs Hitomi's hand and backs away from the flames. Silphymon attempts to shoot a couple Top Guns at Dinorexmon, swinging fists and kicks at its claws.*

*Dinorexmon digs the claws on its arms into Silphymon and soon rips it in two tossing the Rookies aside. Salamon skids into views and Hitomi rushes to her side. The Dinorexmon also comes into view. Looking in Hitomi & Salamon's direction it crouches, preparing to pounce.*

Zarek:<You remember how water began to crop up seemingly out of nowhere? And you know how what was once a continent is now a series of small islands? Yeah, that's why it's best to avoid the water till' everyone's back.>

Allina: <Good point.>

*Allina takes off her clothes to reveal a yellow two-piece and lies down in the sun. Razz doesn't move from where he's standing.*

*Tae looks from Hawkmon to Hitomi and Salamon, running towards the latter two and pushing them aside.*

*While he's playing hero his Crest glows and the words Biomerge Digivolution scroll across the screen of his Digivice.*

*Zarek continues to stare at the ocean.*

Tae: <Wh-->

*His clothes disappear right before Hitomi and Salamon. He floats backwards towards an incoming Hawkmon and they merge midair.*

Tae: <Taegan...>

Hawkmon: <Hawkmon...>

Tae&Hawkmon: <...Biomerge digivolve to... Valkyrimon!>

*Valkyrimon widens his eyes and turns towards the enemy, a javelin materializing in his hands in a flash of light. He points it at the Dinorexmon and countless beams of energy shoot from its tip towards it.*

*Dinorexmon roars and spits a fireball at Valkyrimon.*

"Valkyrimon...?"

*Salmon stands and shakes her head.*

Salamon:<I can still fight!>

*Hitomi nods and points her Digivice at Salamon who Digivolves then Warp Digivolves to Angewomon.*

{Punishing Storm!}

*Valkyrimon holds his hands out, creating a large tornado that spins towards the fireball. He then draws his sword and flies over the tornado, slashing across Dinorexmon's head.*

*MegaSeadramon sniffs once, then tries to bite the Ghoulmon in half.*

*Ghoulmon's eye glows red and a beam fires from it at the approaching MegaSeadramon.*

*The fireball is directed in another direction where it hits the ground with a splat and continues burning. Dinorexmon jumps back and roars. From beside Valkyrimon Angewomon fires an arrow at Dionorexmon.*
