Digital Mayhem

*The lightning dispeling the hypnosis, Mantaraymon swings its tail at Halsemon. Tylomon swims at Mantaraymon ramming its dorsal fin into it.*

*Halsemon lets out a groan, swallowing water. Pegasusmon darts down and attempts to grab her, which isn't easy having hooves. Halsemon finally manages to fly out of the water.*

Pegasusmon: <Lemme guess. It didn't work.>

Halsemon: <Not yet.>

Pegasusmon: <Thumbs-->

Halsemon: <Shut up. You don't even have thumbs.>

Pegasusmon: <Neither do you!>

*Having recovered her breath, Halsemon dives in again and makes a second attempt at hypnotizing the bitch.*

*The Mantaraymon swings its tail sticking Halsemon in the side. Halsemon's body soon begins to go numb and she begins to sink. Meanwhile, Tylomon rams the Mantaraymon.*

*Since the hypnosis attempt failed, MegaSeadramon shoots it with another Lightning Javelin.*

Pegasusmon: <Halsemon!>

*Halsemon attempts to groan as she sinks, struggling to move.*

Pegasusmon: <MegaSeadramon, help her!>

*On the surface, Tae's Digivice vibrates and the screen flashes red. Tylomon fires a torpedo at the Mantaraymon destroying it.*

<What do you want me to do? Lightning the poison out of her?"

*MegaSeadramon dives down & tries to grab Halsemon with his mouth.*

Tae: <Dammit, not again!>

Allina: <What's wrong?!>

Tae: <It's Hawkmon, I think she's in serious trouble.>

*AeroVeedramon takes flight in a flash of light and heads towards the Digimon at sea.*

*With a mouthful of Halsemon, MegaSeadramon can see a messy imprint on the ocean floor that's somewhat shaped like the Mantaraymon that's no longer around. Tylomon swims up to the surface and washes up on the shore, reverting back to Salamon.*

*MegaSeadramon swims up as well.*

*AeroVeedramon takes Halsemon from MegaSeadramon's mouth and swims to the shore. Pegasusmon flies low, nodding to MegaSeadramon.*

Pegasusmon: <Thanks!>

*Salamon shakes herself off.*

Salamon:<We're no longer safe here.>

E"Don't we WANT to be attacked? That's like the cornerstone of our whole plan."

*Hawkmon is resting in Tae's arms.*

Tae: <It's okay, you tried.>

Hawkmon: <Yeah, but-->

Tae_ <You tried. You even fought underwater for a little while. That was pretty cool.>

Allina: <So guys, make up your minds already.>

Salamon:<We were attacked. Nothing else went right.>

BlackGabumon:<We could go back to the other islands.>

E"So we just have to find a way to capture the next attacker. Wouldn't that portal thing MagnaAngemon is always tossing around work?"

Salamon:<I wouldn't bet on it.>

Pegasusmon: <But that'd kill it. If it worked. It usually doesn't.>

E"How does a portal kill something? Your powers are stupid."

BlackGabumon:<Wouldn't there be minions on any of the islands around where we first arrived?>

Salamon:<Probably, but we might get swarmed again. There's always the same thing that got us to MarineDevimon's lair.>

E"We actually knew roughly where his lair was, though. Unless MetalSeadramon is using the same cave, that won't work."

Pegasusmon: <You're stu-->

Allina: <Hey!>

Pegasusmon: <The Digital World has changed too much, I don't think it'd be easy even if he was using the same lair.>

Salamon:<Well, we're not going to accomplish anything by staying here, so...>

Taiyo:<What about Birdy?>

Salamon:<R-Right. Now's your time to shine once more.>

*The last bit she says while facing Pegasusmon.*

*Tae puts Hawkmon down and holds his digivice out towards her.*

Hawkmon: <Hawkmon Armor Digivolve to... Halsemon!>

Pegasusmon: <Okay, let's do this right this time.>

*Hitomi picks up Salamon and boards Halsemon. Taiyo Biomerges with BlackGabumon. BlackMetalGarurumon begins to nudge Euryale's with their eyes closed for some reason.*
