A Tale of Two Cities

*A timer activates inside the Megadeus as Kanrei Tsuki's barrier activates. The Megadeus fires at one of the missiles in the process aiming for the warhead.*

*One missile explodes on contact with the barrier. The other detonates in the air with just enough force to throw off Big Duo's balance.*

*Kanrei Tsuki fires its rifle at Big Duo.*

"Fine, but get the woman out of the cockpit fast" She barked at the Paramedic, "And if she's still breathing, bring her straight to me. I'm a policewoman, you can trust me."

Zell chases him down and slices at his right side.

<I'm afraid you don't have that kind of authority. We'll have to rush her to the hospital, if that is the case. Also, we need the area cleared.>

*Meanwhile, dirt is being sprayed at the Megadeus to choke the flames.*

*Between the 2 attacks, the Megadeus ends up with a deep scratch in its side. It then grabs Mirror Zero, using its rockets to orient itself on top as they fall.*

Luna points her pistol at the Paramedic and speaks only loudly enough for the people close enough to see what she was doing to hear, "Don't make a noise or I'll gun out all down. You're going to get her out of there and bring her to me, got it? I'll be watching and if you do anything that displeases me, I'll put a fucking bullet in your head."

*The timer flips over and begins counting down from twenty minutes. Kanrei Tsuki continues firing at Big Duo.*

*The paramedic grabs the gun, twisting it away from her, & punches her in the face with the other hand. While she's on the ground, he shows her some lapels on his uniform, indicating that he's an army paramedic.*

<Now we'll have to arrest you. As if our jobs weren't hard enough.>

*Big Duo rises in the air again to avoid the shots, but this time, Lilith fires her Megadeus's arms to grab its feet.*

*While it's been grabbed on to, Kanrei Tsuki fires at it some more.*

Luna slipped out her phone and took a razor out of it, while hiding it from the army paramedic.
"Fuck you, man."
She began to stand up and waited for someone to try apprehending her.

Mirror Zero uses its thrusters to lessen the impact of the fall, launching a volley of beams at him as she fell.

*The paramedic keeps the gun trained on her while calling over 2 policemen to escort her to their car.*

S{Those won't be enough to damage Big Duo!}

T{Bring it down here!}

L{I...can't....}

*Lilith's Megadeus was starting to be lifted off of the ground. She started electrocuting Big Duo, but it didn't seem to slow him down much, if at all.*

Mirror Zero rushes Big Duo again and stabs at the shoulder joint of the robot, trying to cripple it.

*It breaks free soon after that, taking to the air again, albeit with a slightly damaged shoulder joint. Once in the air, it fires eye lasers at Mirror Zero.*

S{Funny thing about Big Duo's arm...the joints work independently of each other!}

Zell dodged the beams by using the thrusters to get out of the way. "Fine, then I'll go after you instead." She said, lunging at Big Duo again, aiming a stab at the cockpit.

*Big Duo just fires eye lasers at the cockpit, causing it to explode. As Zell is disorientated by the blast, Mirror Zero falls back towards the ground. Lilith's Megadeus runs over & catches it, & both Megadei land in a crumpled heap. Big Duo then fires the lasers again, destroying a wing of Thiera's house.*

Zell regains her senses a short while later. Her cockpit is damn near destroyed, and she can't move her arm, or rather, the arm of Mirror Zero, which meant her arm was trapped in the destroyed glove. Looking ahead of her she can see that the glass of her cockpit has shattered, taking her HUD with it. "Well, this didn't work out well at all..." She said, wincing in pain as she felt a warm liquid running down the side of her face, which she assumed to be blood. Just then she noticed that Lilith had caught her. Blushing slightly Zell tries to stand Mirror Zero up, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you Lilith... thanks for catching me."

*Kanrei Tsuki continues firing, ejecting large shells that crush things on the street after each shot.*

L{I do not feel pain.}

*With the barrier now out, Big Duo turns its attention to Kanrei Tsuki, firing eye lasers at its gun.*

Zell winces in pain again, "Lucky you." Looking at her trapped arm she lets out a sigh, "I don't think I'll be much use in this fight."

*Kanrei Tsuki books it to the side to avoid the beams.*

L{There's no way we can beat him as long as he remains in the air.}

*Big Duo just keeps firing eye lasers at Kanrei Tsuki.*

*Kanrei Tsuki continues running, squeezing into a nearby alleyway.*

"Well, I lost the use of my sword, so I can't really damage him."
