A Tale of Two Cities

*Once free of its restraints, Basilisk begins digging into the ceiling. Once it stops, Thiera starts climbing up it.*

She dreams that she is in Prolix Arma, flying with the huge swarm as they devour all the planets, swelling to be a giant swarm that then eats the sun itself.
The swarm then explodes with light and Luna emerges, merged with her own- now golden- Megadeus.

Obviously no one had thought that climbing in dresses was going to be an issue, but as soon as Zell began to follow after Thiera she could instantly tell it would be. "Lilith, why don't you go ahead of me." She said, totally because Lilith had a longer dress, and she most likely wouldn't feel awkward looking at Thiera's ass from up her skirt.

*The Adramelech's core starts glowing as it charges its laser beam. It drives a fist into Gelu Chalybs' head.*

*Gelbu Chalybs mouth opens, firing a needle at the fist. It stops firing long enough to raise its gun high enough to fire at the center of the Megadeus chest.*

*Hitomi follows her inside.*

*Chesed enters into the kitchen & opens up a seemingly random section of wall, leading to an elevator. She then opens a panel below the basement button & presses the button inside.*

L"Are you certain you won't require help?"

Zell shakes her head, "No, no, I'm fine. I'll follow right behind you." She said, following right behind her, trying hard not to stare.

*They end up in the large hangar under the mansion, with all of the elevator shafts & tunnels.*

<The construction is much more elaborate than the hangars we constructed.>

*They climb out into an empty cave dug out like a Megadeus hangar with a steel door on one end. The Megadeus restraints contain the remains of Big Duo.*

"Huh..." Zell said looking around.

T"We put in a call to maintenence."

"Won't that alert them to our presence?" Zell asked.

*She goes to the Megadeus accidently on purpusely bumping Chesed in the process. Once at the Megadeus she goes about the whole boarding ritual.*

<Useless moron, can't you even walk in a straight line?>

*The Megadeus opens its cockpit for her.*

T"Not if I imitate Vera, & we beat them up when they come in."

*Hitomi boards the Megadeus and sinks back into the seat somewhat. She fires it up and begins to head to the tunnel from the time before.*

"I don't want to beat up someone who is just doing their job. What if the guy has a family or something, how do you explain that to your spouse and child? 'So, how was your day?' 'Charlie's Angels beat the hell out of me when I went to go check up on a maintenance call, then I got fired because said Angels took information from paradigm and they traced the break in to a hole in the ground and realized that I was the one who let them in.'" Zell said, pantomiming the entire thing, and even giving the character's manly and overly feminine voices

*The Adramelech uses its free arm to protect its core and body slams Gelu Chalybs.*

"Then he can come work for me."

*She heads over to the intercom & unscrews the panel, removing the cell-landline converter from her briefcase & attaching it.*

"I doubt it will be that easy. What if he doesn't know your name?"

*Gelu Chalybs fires a needle point-blank into the hand protecting the core, exploding on impact. This has the added effect of giving both pilots a shake.*

Tipheret{Figures. Well, Barbatos was attacked by a Megadeus & had to have a lot of her bodyparts replaced with prosthetics. She is blaming the attack on Paradigm, & will probably use it as a pretext to declare a Megadeus War. One we are not equipped to fight right now. So, like it or not, we NEED Thiera Psyche's help. That's why I told you not to damage her property.}

*She covers the phone.*

T"That accent makes me want to vomit."

*Lilith chuckles.*

"I never got around to asking, why don't you like Ronstadt anyway?" Zell asked.

*The Adramalech stumbles back and takes his wrecked hand off of the core, shooting a big ass red laser beam at Gelu Chalybs, which, at this distance, is bound to damage both Megadeus.*
