RP Topic I Have No Clever Name For

*Lilith dispels her mask & Kido, sheathes her Zanpakuto, & pushes Euryale away before turning around.*

L"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry all of you."

E"You mentioned Aamon when we met, but you didn't go into any detail. He's not just some petty criminal, is he?"

L"We thought he was. I guess we should have known better. He's been doing experiments to give Soul Reapers Hollow powers, & vice versa. In this way, he turned a few of my squad members into monsters. When we were forced to destroy them, it turned out he put a virus in them, which changed me into what I am now. We captured him, but I refused to let him be killed. I see now that was a mistake. It was always his plan. When his co-conspirators came to rescue him, he attacked the Soul Society from within. It's...it's all my fault everyone's dead."

E"To be blunt, it sounds like Aamon's the jerk in this situation. Why is he even doing all of that?"

N"I can answer that. Aamon is a member of a group of humans with spirit powers called Quincies, which were thought to be extinct since they lost a war with the Soul Society 200 years ago. Aamon specifically told us he was killed by a Captain, even though he wasn't fighting, & came back for revenge on us for killing him, and on the Quincies for disowning him. He hinted that there were a few more Quincies alive."

*Aizen dodged easily, putting a blade to her throat. He was thrown back by an explosion of sand as Venezuela darted overhead, making rapid hand movements.*

Mortal sonido'd after him as he was thrown back and swung horizontally at him.

*Taiyo stands behind Euryale looking over her shoulder at Lilith.*

"I'm sure it wasn't your fault."

*Aizen flynns her strike away from himself & raises a barrier with his other hand.*

V"I call this the T-Rex Machinegun Cero!"

*A T-Rex shaped Cero blasts out of her claws. When it hits the barrier, it turns into dozens of smaller T-Rex shaped Ceros, which attack him from various angles. Without moving, he causes several more barriers to pop in & out of existance, countering these.*

Aizen<I told you before, attempting to overwhelm my defenses IS a good idea, but it won't work.>

V"And -I- told -you- before, it doesn't have to, it's a distraction."

Aizen<From what?>

S"THIS SNEAK ATTACK!"

*Senthose is behind Aizen with his sword pointed at the man's perm, also charging a Cero Oscuras at the hilt. The next thing the trio knows is that they've been hurled into the stratosphere by a massive black-&-purple explosion.*

V"Why did you YELL 'sneak attack' at the TOP OF YOUR LUNGS?!"

S"Does it matter? I felt something shatter when I backstabbed him. I'm sure it was his spine."

L"Thanks, guys. I don't want to leave, but I won't ask you to help me fight Aamon."

E"...What made you think you had to do either?"

Noctis nods, "Yea, I already fought these guys, I'm sure one more won't be too much of a hassle." She said with a heavy dose of sarcasm.

Mortal looked at Senthose, "How much do you want to bet he tanked that shit like a mother fucker?"

"Yeah, we'll help you. No one hurts Lily and gets away with it."

[Maybe I can avenge my wardrobe as well. I really liked that teal set.]

S"Impossible. Even if he blocked the Cero somehow, he'd be vaporized by the ambient heat."

Aizen<I wouldn't count on that.>

*Senthose turns around to see Aizen, now sans glasses & with slicked-back hair. He reaches into his own, silver hair with both hands, & pulls some of it out, before throwing up his arms.*

S"Why do we even HAVE physics!?"

Aizen<If it makes you feel any better, that last attack would have killed me...if it weren't for the fact that I always use a Kido barrier on the back of my neck, because it's a blind spot.>

L"Technically, it won't be just one. If Senthose is working with Aamon, they probably have other underlings. And I'm sure he could easily control lesser Hollows. Probably even lesser Menoses."

Noctis sighed, "Listen, we're doing this no matter what, but don't make me have to do it begrudgingly."

"Fucking called it." Mortal said, "And he has a new look. I expect our asses to be handed to us for a while before we even start to make headway."

"That's okay. What's a Senthose?"

"A douche bag. He broke into my home."

"Can we quit the jibber jabber?" Kira grumbled, "In case you haven't noticed, there's a fight going on close by... a big one."

Kyoujin didn't really care to interfere with their fight, and instead began to search the ruble that was Urahara's Shop.

L"We'll explain on the way, let's go."

*Lilith takes off for the direction of the fight. Euryale also starts running for it, although only at about half the speed.*

E"Senthose is an Arrancar. It's what they call a Hollow who has Soul Reaper powers. I don't understand it all myself, but I guess they're a pretty big deal, at least when they're made from Menoses."

S"Well, the poison should make matters easier, at least."

Aizen<Do you really think I don't have enough Reitsu to suppress even your most advanced poisons, Arrancar?>

S"No. That's why I made it a poison that reproduces in the presence of Reitsu. Before long, the toxins will double, triple, quadrouple, & so on. Eventually, you'll need to increase the amount of Reitsu you put towards suppressing them. Which will just make more. It's a vicious cycle, really."

"I didn't bring my Zanpakuto..."

Kira followed after Lilith, keeping up quite well with her, "So, I guess I'm not forgiven, huh?"

E"Go ahead & get it, my house isn't too far from here."

*You know how an ant hill has many intricate tunnels, but once you've destroyed the surface, it's impossible to access any of them, if they're even still standing? That's what the shop is like now."

"Okay!"

*She takes off running.*

Noct follows along, not liking the slow pace, but feeling that being next to Euryale made up for it.

Mortal looked at Senthose, "Wait, so you gave him a poison that forces him to fight at full strength?"

S"No. Are you even listening? On an unrelated note, you'll never see my next plan coming, Aizen!"

Aizen<Yes. I will.>

S"I think you're wrong."

Aizen<Go ahead. Surprise me.>

*He slips a glowing box of Kido into his Hollow Hole, which forms a vaccum, sucking all of the Arrancar into a hole in space time.*

Aizen<...I stand corrected. That was surprising.>

S"...And now that we're outside of his view, I can relate my next brilliant plan to kill him! Get ready to be blown away by Plan Genius: We'll attack him head-on!"

V"...It's okay to talk to us if you feel stressed, you know. It's preferable to you going insane & dragging the rest of us down with you."

*When Lilith & Kira arrive on the scene, they find it deserted, save for Aizen & Kyoujin.*

*Taiyo comes running back which in flip-flops means she can be heard coming a mile away.*

"Back!"

Mortal raises her hands in frustration, but says nothing. After a long sigh she says, "Shouldn't we wait for the poison to start taking effect first?"

S"No, listen: That thing I fractured must have been his shield. So we'll attack him from behind."

V"But he'll probably have replaced it. Besides, you said--"

S"It doesn't matter! The point is, we'll get him to focus on his back, then attack him head on & kill him! We couldn't beat him with a double feint, so instead, we'll use a triple or quadrouple feint."

E"Good. We're almost there."

*Euryale dashes into the crater left by the attack on the shop. Somehow, none of the people on the street even seem to notice it.*

*Taiyo slides down making noises of discomfort as rocks and the like get in her flipflops.*

Noct looks at Euryale, "I just had the weirdest dream. I think it was a dream. Anyway, there was this giant eel." She looks around, "Oh, we're already here."

"That actually makes a bit of sense, but don't you think he might expect that, now that he knows that we know about his neck thingy."

S"If he does, I'll just break his neck thingy again."

E"There...doesn't seem to be much going on, here...."

*Aizen appears in front of them.*

Aizen<The Arrancar sealed themselves in a Caja Negacion. I suspect they are planning an ambush.>

*Taiyo stands beside Lilith and leans over.*
