Golden Age: Revival

*Roatha hastily scrambles off of Taiyo. Nero points at his pants.*

N"Is that...?"

R"It's the adrenaline! Leave me alone!"

E"Why did you PUNCH me?"

R"I didn't think I was strong enough to push you over."

*Allina doesn't see anything except the manticore, who's now smacking around the guards, presumably pissed at being shot at.*

Allina: <That's the only one... I suggest you guys go ahead through the hole and find our guy. I'll help the guards.>

*Taiyo scampers off hiding in front of Mimiru who looks at her, confused.*

Mimiru:<Can I help you?>

Taiyo:<I think I need a hug.>

*Roatha marches through the gate, raises his sword to about shoulder level, & stabs it in what looks like the genitals. The Manticore starts roaring, spraying blood everywhere, swinging his tail & snapping his jaws wildly.*

Allina: <Or you can show off. That works too.>

*She flies down and runs into the mansion.*

Mimiru:<This really isn't the...>

*Taiyo stares at her making a pouty face and sad puppy eyes.*

[She's so cute...]

*Mimiru hugs Taiyo while Azuma sets off into the mansion courtyard.*

Mimiru:<Only because we're friends.>

*Roatha gets hit by a tail spike, which gives him some pretty nasty lacerations on his left arm.*

N"Good God, are you okay?!"

R"Shut up!"

*He pulls the sword back & fires lightning at the Manticore in an arc.*

*Allina is still running into the mansion.*

*The two stop hugging it out and enter the courtyard. Taiyo swings her lance (which she totally had with her the entire time) sending a blade of water at the manticore's tail. Azuma removes his sword from his back and runs towards the side of the manticore slashing at it.*

"Well... you don't... I thought you might feel left out" Kyoujin said.

"I think what Kyoujin means" Luna chimed in, "Is that she thought you might have felt like a third wheel, not having any powers."

"I guess that's--" Kyoujin nodded before she heard the commotion outside, "What the hell?!"
She jumped up from the lounge and ran to a window, opening the blind and looking out.
"What is it?" Luna asked, following her to the window.

*Deborah heads for the bathroom while they're both distracted watching what's going on outside.*

*The manticore falls, but not after having taken any guards that didn't run the Hell away with it. Roatha swings his sword, resting it on his shoulder.*

R"Well...we're here now. Does anyone see a fancy Asian man?"

The front door was flung open and Kyoujin stormed out looking furious.
"Just what in hell do you think you're DOING?!" She yelled at them, "What the fuck is a manticore doing in my yard?! Mum and Dad will kill me!"
From behind Kyoujin, Luna stood frowning at the group.

"I bet he's inside or left."

Taiyo:<Hey's it's the Strange Lady!>

*She points at Luna.*

N"We're looking for the guy who probably sent it. You wouldn't happen to be entertaining a Japanese Emperor, would you?"

R"The Hell do you mean 'A' Japanese Emperor? He's an Emperor. There is, by definition, only one alive at any given time."

N"I know that, you freaking retard, it was a figure of speech!"

R"'Spot of tea' is a figure of speech. What you said was just stupid."

N"Why don't you come over here & say that?!"

R"I will. With my foot!"

*Euryale walks into the courtyard, dusting herself off.*

E"Err...anyway, the question stands."

"No!" Kyoujin snapped, "Now tell me just who the hell you are before I get you arrested!"
"They are the people from that town" Luna spoke loudly enough so that everyone could hear her, "They were there when my family was destroyed... or nearby."

"This won't be a happy reuinion. Not that she was very happy to begin with."

R"We're Monster Hunters."

E"And I know Nobunaga was here. Don't call me a liar, or I'll make you regret it."

Allina: <She's right. She'll make you regret it. (She's really strong.)>

"There's also a good chance we'll hang around your property. And be really annoying."

"Look, I don't know what you're talking about" Kyoujin grumbled, "But what exactly do you guys want, besides to speak with Nobungo or whoever?"

E"Don't play dumb with me! It was broadcasted on the news that he was here."

N"Wait...THAT'S where you heard about it?!"

E"Yeah, why?"

*A news copter flies overhead, focusing the camera on them.*

N"...Damn it, Euryale."

R"I don't care if it is a trap, I'll kill that bastard myself, & you too if you don't get out of my way!"

*He points his sword in Kyoujin's face.*

Kyoujin glowered at Roatha, standing her ground.
"You're free to walk around me anytime you want" She growled.

"Don't touch Kyoujin" Luna made eye contact with Roatha, glaring daggers at him, "If you do, you'll have me to deal with as well."
Underneath her coat, Luna's pistol waited.

"You think she knows how intimidating she's not?"

Taiyo:<Who are you talking to, Azumy?>

"Myself."

*Roatha glares daggers at them as he pushes past them into the house.*

N"Might be a little over the top."

E"No. I agree with him. They hired Schwarz. I will make them suffer for that."

Kyoujin reached up to her panic button, still glaring at Roatha, and pressed it repeatedly.
"What are you talking about?" Luna asked Eurayle (?).
